It was my initial experience trying their pizza, and it impressed me greatly, especially considering I'm quite selective with pizza due to my experience working in a pizzeria. My expectations were high, and they certainly delivered.“

“Pricy for ice cream but that's normal for AMI. My favorite ice cream on the island! Especially the gelato mixes (mango or tangerine ice and ice cream swirl). But wait time is so long. Tip- order ice cream inside!! Line may be long but you will get it much quicker than outdoor.“

“The Waterfront restaurant was by far the best restaurant I visited while on Anna Maria (caveat: never made it to the porch or drs office). I had the scallops and pork belly and it was a top 10 meal for me. The rest of our table really enjoyed their meals as well. Two with the wasabi tuna beet salad and a chicken parm. Shawn our server was very pleasant and personable. Only downside is the wait, we got there at 5pm on the nose and were told 1.5hr wait (only ended up being 45 minutes).“

An island favorite owned and operated by an AMI born and raised local — if you haven’t been to gRub, it’s a must. gRub’s creative menu has something for everyone (the sides are amazing too) + quality ingredients, you can tell every dish is made with a lot of TLC. It’s definitely a place you will crave.“

“The AMI team is the absolute BEST! We accidentally made a reservation for a party of 15 people at a different location that was meant for Anna Maria Island and when we rolled in the small staff was terrified. This happened to be during spring break which is a super busy time and all restaurants are packed. But they quickly accommodated us and pulled together a large table. They worked extremely hard to handle our group and all the food was fantastic. We got really lucky they could have easily turned us away. They were even able to accommodate a family member in a wheelchair. Just amazing. At the end of the meal we gave them a standing ovation. So sorry to other location we accidentally made the initial reservation…we’re very sorry.“

“Our server took our drink and appetizer order. Then from then we had to wave down another server for more drinks and our sandwiches and cake. The food was delicious. The service was not so great. Hard to recommend it, when we have to beg for service. Our original server did bring our bill which we had asked for. She immediately asked for my card to pay. She did in the end thank us. But she was not was friendly. She did not ask us how our food was. I did not feel appreciated.“

“We thought this restaurant was pretty good. We ordered the zucchini chips, a burger and grouper nuggets. There are so many zucchini chips in the order and the slices are thick so you actually taste the zuchini. The burger was super flavorful and juicy. The grouper nuggets were very fresh. A tad bit over cooked but still good. The seasonal veggies were well seasoned too. The only downfall to the restaurant was the price. It was a bit expensive. For the things we ordered it was $80 without tip. But that’s the price you pay for food on the island.“

“Excellent food and excellent service. I would have given 5 out of 5 but there was one thing missing with the indoor atmosphere... you could hardly hear any music. Jazz or piano so you could hear it would have topped off the experience. Can I make a little suggestion which would make it perfect...if you ran some little white lights along the wainscoting and dimmed the lights it would just add the quaintness to your indoor ambiance. “The seafoods are fresh and delicious. The service is great and the view was awesome. They do have a kids menu however was limited to 3 options. Comeearly as it can get really busy at lunch even on weekdays.The parking is limited but it’s nice that they assigned a parking lot person to direct parking movement.Parking: Limited parking but they do have parking lot personnel to organize and assist in parking.“

“My family and I visited Bayshore Nutrition for the first time yesterday and were very pleased with the overall service and and experience as a whole. We were greeted upon walking in, she took our orders and made them, quite fast and accurately I might add, and then explained the benefits to each of our drinks, told us how many calories were in the smoothies, which I found really helpful as I am a person that tracks the calories I have each day so I really appreciated that. The smoothies were all REALLY GOOD, HEALTHY & BENEFICIAL. We agreed that we'd definitely be visiting again and soon!“

“The food is sooo fresh and delicious that it's worth the wait! Every time I go to Bradenton, I insist that I have to eat here. The clam strip are so tender and huge!! I always liked clam strips, but Starfish has spoiled me that I can't eat them anywhere else but here!!“

“My favorite coffee shop on the island I started my mornings with a short beach walk to the coffee shop, and the service was fast and the coffee was tasty. My favorite part are their straws - pieces of pasta noodles! A sustainable touch that is much appreciated when you're that close to the water.“

“This is probably one of my favorite out of the way locations relatively close to home. With a large park, beach, with trails and picnic areas there are a lot of choices to do things or jsut to hang out. You used ot have to pay for entrance and parking at a booth when driving in, but now you can pay at machines in the parking lots or use an app. When you drive in the road splits off, to the right iot gfoes to the north beaches and to the left it goes to east beach. I'd rather NOT tell you how nice the beach is as I like it to stay relatively crowdfree if possible... Its clean here with bathrooms and other amenities that will keep you comfortable. Notably, cerain beachses didn't seem to have lifeguards so that's something to consider But otherwise, you can spend a LOT of time here by yourself or with friends/family and enjoy the natural beauty of Florida nature. As a bonus, if you're familiar with Air Fest and are visiting during that time of the year: if you're on the beach during the festival you can watch the jets flying around MacDill AFB (and not deal with the crowds on base. Ft Desoto is defintiely a place you should add to your list to visit. Whether you are from Florida or not, this is a great place to visit!“

“We had a great experience here at AMO! The hostess, Isabella, was welcoming and helpful from the start. Our server, Carlos, was top notch and made everyone's day with his humor and positivity. The food came out hot and fresh and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! We had the tropical chicken bowl, the true north fish sandwich, fish tacos and a burger - it was all delicious. It was a great atmosphere with beautiful views of the water! Would highly reccomend.“

“What a nice find! Food, live music, inexpensive souvenir/gift shop, playground, volleyball nets, with a beautiful beach as the background! I was just going to turn in the parking lot to turn around. But I heard music and saw a sign for ice cream so in we went. It was early afternoon, nice casual patio crowd with people dancing. Only had ice creams but the food looked like non fussy American fare. Staff was very visible and friendly. Will definitely be back! (And they have pancakes)“

“This place claims to be the best burger place on the island. Although I beg to differ what they do have is an awesome atmosphere, great and personable staff, and overall good dive food. I could rave to you about the ice cold drinks, festive music, pinball and pool tables... But none of those elements even remotely compared to the awesome locals and fabulous bartenders that we quickly became friends with. But this post is regarding the Anchor Inn, so praising the bartenders is my top priority. Brad, single-handedly the most insightful and thought-provoking bartender that I've ever met. And his hair is great, too. The Brothers, both equally charming and pleasant to be around. And last, but not least and never to be forgotten, the tough as nails/sweet like honey Kirsten. You are a true Diamond, little sister. The four of you will be the top reasons that we will definitely be back to AMI in the not so distant future.“

“Absolutely PHENOMENAL! This place is so versatile with so many options. I got the bridge street sandwich on the jalapeno pepperjack bagel, easily the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! “We were there after 1:00, weekday. Great views and vibe. Had the steak and cheese, which was amazing! Our apps were disappointing. The chicken livers and onions I really wanted to love, tasted peppery. The shrimp escargot was not worth finishing. No flavor at all. The melted cheese on it and the bread served with it were the best part of the dish. Our server was a bit forgetful but very friendly. “Let me preface this by saying the typical, “I’m from NJ and my pizza standards are very high”. Maybe cliche but true… I grew up with fantastic pizza and have been frantically searching for something that comes close since moving to FL in 2014.This pizza doesn’t just come close to what I grew up with, this is EXACTLY what I grew up with.We ordered a half cheese & a half margarita, and asked for it well done. The pizza came out perfect. The cheese side was beautifully bubbly and not greasy in the slightest. The margarita side had some perfectly melted moz with large slices of tomato and plenty of basil.The crust was golden underneath and crispy with a wonderfully bubbly edge. The sauce was flavorful- both sweet and acidic. It was exactly what you want out of a good sauce.We also ordered a penne a la vodka and it also exceeded expectations. The vodka sauce was well balanced and the pasta perfectly al dente. The chicken cutlet was breaded evenly and fried to the perfect golden brown.I failed to take pictures, but will certainly be returning. Thank you to our wonderful server who knew the food offerings inside and out. And finally, of course, thank you Danny for bringing a slice of home to the sunshine state.“
