“Hi! I was at the restaurant/bar when the bartender ask me if a could go talk to CRIS LEON because it was hard to understand her english and I speak spanish. She complained about the lechón asado being too fatty (as if we advertise to sell dry or low calorie food) and I kindly explain to her that although we wouldn’t charge for the lechón they still had to pay for the sides and drinks. She threw her card at my calling me an “INDIAN” and after I told her it was declined she started to yell at me that I was a “LITTEL SERVANT” along with more racist insults that I had never thought any Colombian will ever say. It wasn’t until I threaten to call the police that they decided to leave.“

Family owned and operated, it's a tiny spot, where you will see multiple generations of family, who cook and serve you food filled with love.We came in here on a Saturday evening and were the only ones in here at 5:30 PM. The jerk meatballs, the roti with eggplant, the conch fritters… all the appetizers were fantastic. Be prepared for a little bit of heat in your food. The tables are a little bit small, so if you order as much food as we did, you'll have to find a way to figure it out.I'm not a huge fan of vegetarian meals, but I had no idea coconut fried tofu, could be so spectacular. I was blown away, don't be afraid to order this. We also ordered the oxtail, which was so tender, and in a thick brown spicy with a hint of sweet sauce. The curry goat was fall off the bone. Fantastic. Don't worry if you have to keep ordering , bowls and bowls of rice (you will), they are so happy to accommodate.As we went through our dinner, the place started to fill up and it was real nice to see that everybody in here was a regular. Obviously the locals know this place, and may want to keep it a secret, the cats out of the bag. If you like Caribbean food, this is not to be missed. I did not hear one negative thing about the food from coworkers, which is rare when you are feeding 50+. Also, the music is an added plus. I have since gone out of my way to eat from this truck. “Yesterday, February 1, 2024, was my first time experiencing "Island Fusion Cusine," and it was the best Griot I ate from a haitian restaurant ever since my grandma can no longer cook anymore. The Griot was tender, juicy, and tasty. And I'm back again for more the next day. Hopefully, they can keep up the same quality that have me writing a whole book about their restaurants. I haven't tried any other meal yet, I will in the near future. Hands down the best Haitian Restaurants in Pompano if not the whole Broward County.“

“Been here twice and really like this place. The customer service is great. They're friendly and gave me a sample of my smoothie first to make sure I liked it before buying it. I've tried 2 smoothies there so far and both were delicious and made very well. I forget the first one I got but today I got the Supreme Green and like it a lot. Inside is a little small but enough room for 6-7 people to eat. I saw bathrooms down the hallway. Some small foot options in a hot case in the front. They have tons of smoothie options. Some bottled drink options as well. The pricing is on par with other places. I definitely need to come back and try one of their meals.“

Everyone greets you with a warm welcome and a radiant smile when you enter the establishment.The food is great. The portions are more than adequate. Darlene is the key component for both great drinks that we come up with and entertaining my students when I bring them to visit. She is a true gem for the facility and as a Titanium member I highly recommend eating and drinking here even with additional restaurants in plain view.“
