“We've primarily ordered from doordash, but when visiting while they were underconstruction, I got to see the nice atmosphere of the restaurant. Besides these details, Ti Manmi's Kitchen in Boca is our most favorite. And has been the deciding factor of why we say Haitian food is our favorite.I always order the pork griot. I love the subtle spiced meat and light crisp texture. It's on the dry-er side, but that's what I love. This meal also comes with sauce, and if you're concerned about my "dry" comment, just dip the griot in the sauce to get that even richer, meatier and broth like flavor. You'll be golden. Plaintains: amazing, brown rice: amazing, spicy onions: a dream, pikliz: never enough! My husband always gets the spinach Lalo (spinach mixed) and a side of white rice. And he's golden. The spinach Lalo has a nice herby and strong (similar to black tea) taste to me. It's great with a layered fork of spinach Lalo, white rice, and pikliz.Grateful for this restaurant to make eating such an experience!Side note, pricing is so reasonable. Even considering we've gotten delivery multiple times.“
“Went inside and worker was not very nice. Kinda just stared at me like why am i here and they were mopping like we werent in the restaurant. Otherwise the food was very good. Would recommend to try and the atmosphere was a nice little small ambient place.“
“Everything everyone had was excellent. My friends had a bunch of appetizers and everything was delicious. I had some of the specials for the evening - smoked salmon with all the accoutrements, and a red snapper dish that was served Mediterranean style. They both were fabulous. Profiteroles for dessert! Love Le Bistro.“
“First time client recommended from a Instagram follower. So I went yesterday and when I walked to the truck nobody was at the window. Secondly I was asked if I was Haitian and if I eat that food which was rude and out of place. I love Caribbean food from all over . The young lady didn’t understand English well and there was no one that spoke English. I looked at the menu and ordered what I thought would be roughly around $18 with tax . But apparently for a meal of griot, rice and plantain it was $23 but says $16 on the menu. I asked for black rice and was told it’s $10 Being that I didn’t have anyone to speak Creole to explain why is it that amount. I just paid I was told it would take 15 minutes and it took 30. I don’t mind the wait if you say it can range from this to this . Ok , I understand the food is cooked to order . Then I called the number on the truck no answer not even a return call . The food is in boxes with paper which is very unappealing to me . Probably my first and last time visiting unfortunately. . Mr. Vert’s kitchen you should have someone working who not only knows how to speak English but understands also . Having a language barrier can cause lots of frustration which it did for me . Also try using to go plates where all the food is not separated.“
“Yesterday, February 1, 2024, was my first time experiencing "Island Fusion Cusine," and it was the best Griot I ate from a haitian restaurant ever since my grandma can no longer cook anymore. The Griot was tender, juicy, and tasty. And I'm back again for more the next day. Hopefully, they can keep up the same quality that have me writing a whole book about their restaurants. I haven't tried any other meal yet, I will in the near future. Hands down the best Haitian Restaurants in Pompano if not the whole Broward County.“
“5/5 across the board! This place is truly a gem and I am so glad we found it. Vic is a master in the kitchen and Sierra makes you feel comfortable right away. The wings are crispy and and sauced perfectly, the all day breakfast is perfection! We will be back so soon! You need to check this place out, you will not be disappointed!!Kid-friendliness: We brought kids ages 8-15 and all were happy with the choices. They even had cotton candy so my daughter was sold!“
