“If you want delicious, authentic Mexican food, you need to go to Portales. The shopping center could use a facelift but this restaurant and next door grocery store are the stars. The restaurant waswas cl, spacious, and our waitress was very friendly. She spoke both English and Spanish. The green and red sauces were full of flavor and their tacos are amazing! Their menu has plenty of Mexican dishes to choose from. Bring your appetite and you won't be disappointed!”

“We’ve had several of their menu items and is really an excellent little food truck , she makes excellent tamales, the flautas, burritos and tacos are delicious and really hit the flavors of authentic taqueria food should be! Love it!”

“I always have issues with orders. They are often closed without changing their hours on google or Uber Eats, so you have no idea until you get there or place the order and wait an hour for a delivery driver to go out of their way to for nothing because they’re closed and the deliver driver calls you to tell you. This last time (there have been 3 instances) really upset me because I called ahead of time (also usually useless because half the time they don’t answer even when they are open, and I was told yes they are open and I told him my order and we politely ended the call, just for my order to turn around and show up as having been cancelled by the vendor on my app. It’s good food, not the best I’ve ever had but good, an I like it to local businesses but it’s just not worth it in this case”

“Food was delicious!!! Best BBQ we've had in a long time! Homemade sauce was amazing and perfect amount of seasoning. A bit sweet with a little kick. Husband loved it! We had the ribs, brisket and pulled pork and all were tender and juicy and not dry at all. The frozen sweet tea was awesome too! Not too sweet and we all loved it. Mac n cheese, baked beans and tots were all delicious too. Definitely can't wait to go back for more.”

“This is my favorite food truck by far. Their birrias and horchata is heaven-sent. And they never have a problem with me ordering an extra birria taco or adding more cilantro & onion to my order. The food always tastes delicious. I highly recommend you stop by.Oh! And their quesadillas be STACK'D!”

“First of all very clean. The hostess was very nice and seated us quickly. It wasn't busy so that helped. Service was good, food was good..we had the lunch portion ( meatloaf and mashed potatoes and one side)which was just enough food most portion are too much. Check out was great nice lady Patty helped me.”

“Ordered take out. Pulled up hit my name . Drove to the window. Got my tea. Sat 5 minutes.Asked to pull forward. Sat 10 more minutes. Usually service is better. Clerk came out asked for my name. Came back out with my food. So had it been ready?? It was a half a sandwich and half a salad. Should not have had to sit over 15 minutes especially since I ordered online and paid ahead of time. I set the time for pick up. Why did I wait.?”

“I've traveled all over Florida and Marifer's is THE BEST. Sometimes I eat here twice in a weekend...it's that good. I recommend their Carnitas, Pastor and Elote. There are a lot of taco trucks in Gibsonton these days but Marifer's has been here for years.”
