“Went here with my husband and two friends. We all loved it. HUGE portion sizes at very reasonable prices. Top-notch service. There isn't much of a seating area but they were kind enough to bring out an extra stool so we were all able to sit down. I had the jerk pork. My husband got both the jerk chicken which he said was good and the brown stew chicken which he thought was phenomenal. We all really like their red rice which is cooked with coconut milk. Mixed vegetables were not overcooked like they seem to be at a lot of restaurants. We all loved their hot sauce. Not a lot for vegetarian options, but they are still able to accommodate those with a vegetarian diet.“

“So good. I got the Carib Beans and Rice bowl. The fluffy coconut rice and black beans were so good! I am a vegetarian and there were plenty of options for me. My husband built his own bowl with the garlic lime braised beef and he said it was very delicious.“

“This has gotta be one of the best Jamaican food outside of Jamaica. I can tell that this chef takes pride in every single dish she makes. The flavors are outstanding and every item I tried was so well seasoned, I can't rave about it enough! Must try foods: Beef Patty, Jerk Ribs, Jerk Pork, Stewed Oxtail, Rice n Beans, steamed Cabbage, Festival, Potato Salad, Mac n Cheese and their sweet, super moist cornbread. The restaurant itself is small and quaint, but what it lacks in space, they make up for it in the quality of their Jamaican food. There were only 2 people working when I visited. The friendly gentleman taking the orders and the lovely chef who sang and danced to some dancehall music that played on the tv. She had such a wonderful smile and brought me some complimentary items from the kitchen to try. Will definitely be back for roti and pholourie!“

“Had lunch with family and friend on 1/17 food was excellent and Casey ,our waiter was absolutely the best, his attitude and demeanor and prompted service ws es restaurant is lucky to hv him . He is my go to waiter when I visit in the future.“

“Really good food. Oxtail was bussin'. We got there right before they closed so we didn't get to try a lot, but the rice and cabbage were also good. The plantain were nice and ripely and nicely cooked! In and out quick service. The staff was respectful and friendly!“

“My husband and I stopped by for oxtail and curry goat and we were not disappointed. I ordered the oxtail with veggies rice and peas and the flavor of the oxtail was savory and the meat was tender. The veggies were delicious with a hint of vinegar and a spice of the scotch bonnet pepper. My husband had the curry goat with yellow rice and veggies and the flavor was amazing. I had to have a taste. the meat was very tender also and perfectly seasoned. We sat outside and ate until we were stuffed. We washed our food down with jamaican ginger beer and pineapple soda. I am definitely returning to this awesome place. Not to mention, the portion for a regular size was enough for leftovers for dinner. The service here was very nice and welcoming. I'm glad we stopped in for our first visit here. I didn't know its been opened for 3 years. It was worth the 25 mins drive from Clearwater.“

“Went for my wife's birthday and we sat outside in the patio. The view was wonderful, the night special, and service incredible. Our server was Mahondre and his recommendations were spot on and excellent. We definitely intend to go back again.“

“This place has the best atmosphere! I love the live music, the water views and sitting outside has all the Florida vibes.I usually order the shrimp and grits but this time the shrimp tasted stale and the grits wasn’t as saucy as I’d like. By the time it came to my table it wasn’t hot anymore. I’m disappointed with their lack of consistency. I’m not sure if there’s staff issues or what, but in prior years the food was consistently good and now it’s just “ok”.The kids meals were a hit and the ice cream ? sandwich is a fan favorite. I’ll give them another try simply because of the atmosphere.“

I am a student from out of state and this is my go-to stop every time I am home on breaks for their food, especially the doubles!!The shop owners had a family emergency but took the time to call me and let me know so we could coordinate a time for me to still enjoy their food!
