“My family is from New Orleans, so I know great shrimp! This is spectacular! The “spicy” shrimp is NOT hot, just “spiceful”! Two of us had the 2 lb platter of shrimp, with coleslaw (also wonderful) and one drink, and our bill was $50!”

“We heard about the Ice Cream Barr in Homosassa and thought we would see for ourselves. YES - Best Homemade Ice Cream EVER. Homemade Cherries too! Portions are HUGE. Ice cream has Huge chunks of whatever you order. The Ice Cream Barr received high scores from all four of us.”

“Great food at very fair prices. You would expect to pay more at this kind of location, so I was very happy about pricing. I got the fried chicken sandwich and my wife got the grilled chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken was good, the fried chicken would beat most restaurants easily. Everything was hot and fresh. You should definitely grab a meal while you're there and I would strongly recommend you go with the fried chicken sandwich (I had the tater tots for a side and they were well done also)”
