“For the best quality sushi on the island, Sushi Siam is the way to go. As you can see from the photos, lately I've been fixated on the Spicy Tuna Salad. I highly recommend you give it a try.Parking: Parking is right outside the door, both in front of and behind the restaurant. I've never had an issue finding a spot.“

“We come here for dine in and take out frequently. It’s sublime. There’s also an Omakai in Wynwood but the ambiance here is a little more upscale and not as small. The freshest, sweetest, most savory delicate nigiri and sashimi. Even our children adore the sushi here. This is traditional sushi; if you’re looking for ‘rock and roll’ sushi and non-sushi dishes, this is not your place. There’s no cream cheese in the sushi here (thank goodness lol).We usually order chutoro (I find it less fishy than otoro), uni (they have Japanese and Santa Barbara uni), hotate, albacore, hamachi and kanpachi. The crab rolls are also delicious.“

“Great sushi for the $ money. $70 gets you 10 pieces and a hand roll of premium quality sushi. My only issue with this place is they cut the fish in the morning so if you go later on in the day say around 6 pm the fish might be a little dry. That wasn't the case with my food however. I went at 12 noon and it tasted great! will I be back ? Maybe!“

“My husband and I went to this restaurant and were impressed with the treatment we received. From the moment we walked through the door, the owner Juan welcomed us and was very friendly. He gave us the choice of where we wanted to sit. The employees who assisted us were also very good. The food, above all, very good. You feel like you are in Peru and excellent service. Recommended 100%“

“Group of friends and I were in town for just the night and looking for a good sushi place. I saw a couple blog posts mention Midorie, and we were so glad we checked it out! I called ahead and while they don't take reservations, they were incredibly helpful and kind in helping us determine when to come to get a table. The outside seating is so cute and everyone was really kind! The food was incredible, our table got a lot to share and ended up ordering more because the Midorie maki roll and salmon were just that good. A hidden gem for sure, but the fresh fish is worth looking for it!“

“The food here was incredible and the customer service was fantastic. I truly enjoyed the braised mushroom dish, and the vegan sushi rolls. The bartender made me a custom drink with yuzu and mezcal that was vibrant and fresh. This is a great place for vegans and vegetarians, and also has options for meat eaters. I had wonderful conversations with the bar staff and Brian, and look forward to returning to Azabu.“

“During my previous visit /delivery weeks ago I had an issue with my order. The manager Julio Carreno went above and beyond to make sure this time I would be highly satisfied and my order would be perfect and he would hand deliver it himself to make sure everything was done correctly. I must say he's a man of his word and made everything perfect. On top of the wonderful service and great tasting sushi, I received a dessert and a bag of corn nuts. Thanks again Julio for everything, I appreciate you.“

“What a great experience! Right in South Miami! Our waitress, Karen, was amazing! Very attentive and extremely helpful with the menu and drinks. She recommended the Omakase Signature to share. It comes with a variety of sushi. Compliments to the chef, it was exactly what we wanted and needed. 100% recommend coming down and seeing Karen and enjoying the delicious food and atmosphere!“

“A small restaurant, with a very good and chill environment inside. Both the host at the entrance and the waitress "Andreina" were so friendly. The food was very yummy and, if you’re thinking about for getting a meal outside, Moshi Moshi has the best prices for you. One of my favorites places in South Beach for getting Japanese food.“

“Bali a cafe has been open for 25yrs and I can’t believe we just discovered it around the block from our place downtown. The food was exquisite and the service made us feel right at home. Ask for recommendations on the Indonesian dishes, we were very pleasantly surprised by the flavors and quality of the food. Portion sizes are generous, the presentation was great and the value was incredible at under $20 a dish. We’re adding this spot to our list of downtown staples.“

“Faux-makase! (Fake omakase) is exactly what it is. Self proclaimed “non traditional omakase.” Also know as slow-makase. Nossa deserves a noose-a. I was recommended this restaurant by my hotel concierge. Had a horrible experience here. Should have known since they require pre-payment online via tock which actually codes as professional services and not a restaurant so they avoid the credit card fees. By the way, they will ask you to pay a ridiculous and mandatory 20% service charge plus tax after your “meal.” After payment, you will receive an email which says “The day of your reservation you will receive an email with instructions to access to the speakeasy bar.” However, I never received any email. I put nossa into google and it took me to the filthy, run down Hyatt centric hotel. I went inside and asked where the restaurant was and they took me through a stinky alley next to the hotel trash room said to knock the door. This made me extremely uncomfortable and almost decided to just leave. Little did I know the horror I was about to experience. I knocked the door and a lady asked for the password so I gave my last name on the reservation. She didn’t open and kept asking for a password. I demanded she open the door and gave my last name on the reservation. She said I should have received instructions on a paper from another restaurant on the other side of the street which I was not informed of. She said I was late and that they already started so she showed me to my seat. The room felt like a sewer with too many people crammed around a dirty scratched up bar. I was in group 11 which means there were at least 20 guests there. The music was horrendous and unbearable. The ambiance was very creepy. The staff smelled really bad. I was offered a welcome drink which I opted for a sparking water which was not sparking at all as it was flat without bubbles so they brought me a bottle instead. They didn’t ask about any allergies and handed me the first course which I had to spit out because it contained alcohol which I don’t drink. The chef kept inaudibly shouting out the descriptions of the dishes for each course towards different corners of the room in an attempt for everyone to hear but you only hear and understand the words which were said in your direction. All the ingredients were old and not fresh. The food did not taste good. The portions were tiny so don’t think you’ll be full when you leave here by any means. The place is extremely unsanitary. The chef even wipes your plates using the same towel as the previous groups one after another. I was absolutely disgusted. Finally the last course came and again I was served alcohol without being told what it was. Luckily the chef caught it before I could drink it and replaced it with iced tea. I asked if we’re were finished and she said yes. The experience was a complete waste of time so we were happy to walk out and leave. The lady chased us on our way out and said there was an additional payment to be made for gratuity and tax. I asked if this was mandatory and she answered yes. Mind you this was never communicated before. She also said she didn’t have a wireless credit card machine so I gave her my physical card to go swipe and come back. The chef came out, handed me my receipt and credit card then asked: “Is there a reason why you’re unhappy.” I answered: Yes, I didn’t enjoy the experience. He shrugged his shoulders and replied: “I’m sorry but unfortunately not everybody does, I guess” I was shocked and just stormed out. Exit left next to the trash room, literally.“

“Don't hesitate to book a table at this gem of a restaurant—it's quickly become my top choice for sticky rice and omakase dining in the area. It is located in a vibrant area with a spacious courtyard and various shops, and it offers the perfect opportunity for a post-meal exploration or dancing. The 16-course omakase experience here is a standout, especially for someone accustomed to the sushi scenes in NYC. It competes strongly on both quality and price. From the outset, the hostess Caroline set the tone with her warm, attentive service, ensuring my water glass was never empty and making my solo dining experience far from lonely through engaging conversations. The chef, with her Laotian heritage, masterfully prepared each dish, from the hand rolls to the sticky rice selections, adding a personal touch that enhances the dining experience. The variety of dishes was impressive, with the Japanese scallops, the A5 Wagyu hotplate, and the hand rolls being my personal highlights. To finished off the evening, the hostess surprised me with an early birthday desert treat. This, was truly the highlight of my food trip in Miami.Every time I find myself in Miami, this will undoubtedly be my chosen spot for an exceptional dining experience.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant and space has a ramp to enter the space.“

“High-quality sushi, delicious but not very big, a little on the pricey side but very good. Service was very attentive and on point. Had several dishes not seen on other sushi Thai restaurants. “Had amazing experience at this restaurant! The food really exceeded my expectations, especially for being in the middle of Wynwood, I personally haven't had many good dining experiences here. My favorite were the Rock n Roll tempura and the Hoshi Dragon rolls, which were their signature dishes. The fish was fresh, and the dishes were all visually appealing. The service was also excellent, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. I will definitely be coming back!“

“Im hesitant to post this because it’s truly a hidden gem right now but this restaurant/market and chef Takashi deserve their praise. It’s the best and most authentic sushi I have had in Miami. It’s the only nigiri I’ve had that has the proper size and freshness you would expect from good, high quality nigiri. By far the most similar to the nigiri I have had in Japan. No tiny pieces where they’re skimping you out on fish and loading it with rice and sprinkling truffle oil to make a sad piece of nigiri look appealing. This is the real deal and so worth it. Can’t wait to check it out in person“

“I usually don’t leave reviews but for this place I had to! The overall atmosphere and service was top notch and the only thing topping that was the food. The sake is amazing and the rolls are to die for. Tomo is awesome and Ray’s house made soy sauce was made to perfection. Matthew’s service made me feel as if I was part of a family. “My Tokyo born wife and I usually sit at the counter and talk to the chef while he works. We could not do that here but we enjoyed dinner even though it was served in groups of sushi. The toro was very good as was the eel. Sake options were wide and we enjoyed a bottle of dry sake. It is a small space not as cluttered as our dives in Tokyo but ii did have a nice family feel. The staff was very helpful and kind. We asked for "small rice" and they did as we asked. It is sort of tucked in to the back of a large condo building and finding it takes a bit of persistence.“

“With Belly Fish, I feel like you can’t go wrong whether you’re ordering a weeknight meal or a big catering platter. We’ve eaten some of the best omakases whether in Miami or Japan, yet I will always come back to this place. They’re now my go-to for delicious, fresh sushi with no nonsense! I love the scallop (seasonal), torched fish, foie gras add-on, salmon lovers rolls…. The list goes on. Pro tip, it can be hard to find their location (looks like a residential / apartment area) when picking up so give yourself extra time. Five stars across the board for belly fish- thank you!“

“That was on a different level than me and my lady have experienced before. We read no reviews and had zero expectations and had the a BEST time. “A neat hole in the wall. After you pick your seating, remember to order at the bar to speed up your process. The food is great for the prices. The chef delivers quality hand crafted rolls and he himself even brings them out. Likely if anyone does takeout, the food is done in the back, so it’s safe to assume the quality won’t be as good, just as a reference. Overall, would come back and order different items. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, the Matcha Tiramisu blew me away. It was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal. The service was impeccable.
