“This is a cool little Oyster Bar. We stopped with 4 adults and a 20 month old after spending the day on the Harris Chain fishing and cruising. The beer was cold and the food was great. We shared fried oysters, frog legs, raw oysters and fried shrimp. It was all very good. Our waitress paid special attention to our little guy in the group bringing him some fries and garlic bread before we even ordered. He was happy. The place is a little rustic. Don’t expect a spotless and polished place, but it was clean and the food and drinks were good. We dropped $125 for the 4 of us with a couple beers. Will be back.“
“Neat lunch place! Like pulling into home and grabbing a sandwich. Homemade sides and Ellen, the owner, was our server. Personable and prompt. Casual and comfortable. They even have fried baloney sandwiches! I would recommend this place for a no-frills-good-food category, with a trip over to Venetian Gardens afterwards to walk it off. (.2 miles) Beautiful day there in downtown Leesburg. Delightful place!“
“My husband and I are regular diners at Billy’s Cafe in Tavares. The food is good, the people that work there are great, the regulars all know each other, and it is our go to spot for breakfast. My favorites are the veggie omelet, the breakfast burrito special, and the apple roll ups with whipped cream (if you like apple pie, you’ll love these). There are plenty of other restaurants that are closer to where we live that we could go to, but we take a 30 minute drive each way to go to Billy’s because of the excellent food and service.“
“It was fast, good, and welcoming. We came with our 8 month old and asked for a high chair and everything happened smoothly. A lot of restaurants put family’s in corners in the back and I appreciated that not happening.Only gave 4 stars cause I never got a refill and waited for the check a bit. “
“The hash bowls are really good. And so are the supreme cold coffees, like dessert in a cup. They got us in and out quickly. They did mix up the eggs on the our two bowls, but we ate it anyway. The prices are really good and the portions are just right.“

“One of the best breakfast places I have eaten down here in The Villages. I am very fussy about my breakfast, and it was absolutely excellent. The servers were friendly with a smile. Prices were great. You cannot beat this place if I could give it a 10 I would. Kenneth was our server met us with a smile and every time he walked by he had a smile. He was training a young lady who did the same thing excellent personalities. I got to meet the manager. He came to our table. His name was Konata he was another great personality for this place our whole experience for my wife and I was just fantastic.“

“This is another place we love. The owner and all of the staff are awesome. Friendly and engaging. They welcome you into the place like it is their home and they are having you in for lunch.They always have an exceptional variety of freshly made soups (none of that canned stuff here!). My favorites are the chicken white bean chili, vegetable soup, and the wedding soup. But none of them are less than fantastic.If you are looking for something light, the trio salad is awesome. It is a heavy portion of chicken salad, tuna salad, and egg salad on fresh greens. Love this dish as well.Nothing is bad here! I wish they were open for breakfast with some delicious breakfast things and cappucino! "hint hint" lol. But a great place nonetheless for lunch.“
