“Super fast, and huge portions.The chicken and rice with veggies was huge, definitely enough for two people.Not realizing this I had also ordered a bento. I wasn’t crazy about that one because I’m not a fan of that style fried dumplings (tasted like the Chinese fast food egg roll, which I’m not into ), and because I didn’t eat the bento until almost an hour later the salad that was drenched in sauce that was too strong/spicy/odd tasting was super soggy, so I didn’t eat that either. The 4 pieces of Cali roll was okay.I would just order a separate order of whatever sushi roll you like, along with your plate of choice instead of the bento , but that’s just me. I also had the fried shrimp roll, and that was ok also. The sushi rice didn’t taste like that sushi flavoring I like, but hey it wasn’t pricey, so can’t really complain.We enjoyed the chicken rice plate the best, and look forward to trying the other menu items. I enjoyed the white rice that was served with it also. I think next time I would ask if I can have the veggies cooked in water or steamed to cut down on the oil a bit (though they were tasty the way we got them, just thinking I should curb the fat a little lol).Service was fast and quick, they seem to have a lot of regulars. “Ok, so this place is rather hidden. So the point like it looks like it's closed because of the construction going on around it. But it's very much open! Super cozy once you're inside. Staff was super friendly and helpful in answering all my questions and making some yummy suggestions. I because I don't eat pork, I wasn't able to try their regular Ramen on the menu. But they do offer a miso base Ramen that is not on the menu and lots of veggies that was DELICIOUS! My fave thing was the crispy sushi! Not what I expected, but exceeded my expectation. Food is great both sushi and thai, which is rare, fast service, very attentive. I am very picky with my sushi and thai food and i have to say the food was excellent. Sushi has the correct rice and tastes great, i had drunken noodle and pad thai which was great. Fish is always super fresh. They have extra spices on the side home made. The rice was cooked perfect, the fish was fresh and the rolls had so much flavor! Didn’t even really need eel sauce or spicy mayo. I love sushi and this was definitely top 3 I’ve had in the area. Better than some of the ones that burn a hole in your pocket. All the rolls were $10 or under. Can’t tell when was the last time I saw miso soup for $2. So worth it! And the service was also great!
