“We went last night for the first time and we were not disappointed! It was sooooo good!! We tried a little of everything.. Tea Rose Dumplings, Chicken Satay, Bang Bang Shrimp, Spring Rolls, a soup with glass noodles and sausage, a veritable dish with chicken. Everything was fresh, made in house, hot and so flavorful! Don't let the exterior scare you away. Never judge a book by its cover!“

“I love this place! First Korean restaurant I ever ate at (back in 2003ish), and been going back ever since. I liked a Korean restaurant in Germany too, but no other place I've tried (about 20 others) has compared. The owner always remembers me, my family, and my friends. We don't even need a menu, she knows what food and drinks we want and lets us know if there's something special to try that day, like the seaweed soup.“

For the hummus and meatballs on the appetizer platter, my stomach wasn't big enough--I wanted more. The gyro was packed with the savory meat and homemade tzatziki. I could have made a meal out of the tzatziki and bread. If you leave here without getting the fresh-daily baklava, you're only hurting yourself. I made a special run just to get more of that. If I lived in the area, I'd eat here every week. Would love to have tried the stuffed meatloaf! ...I just ran out of time.Update: Made it back to this area and have stopped in here 3 times. Love it! Tried the Mousaka the first time...and had it again the second time. Third time was the stuffed peppers and loved 'em. Again, you must try the baklava.“

Tom Kha Gai (Spicy Mushroom Coconut Milk Soup) - Again, Wow! Possibly the best Ibe ever had. Packed with ingredients and flavors. Big stems of lemongrass, lots of mushrooms, lime leaves, and chicken. 100% authentic tasting. Gigantic portion for $15 - could be a meal since it's served with rice.? Pad Thai - perfect version of this traditional recipe. Large portion, well cooked noodles, and fresh tasting ingredients.? Thai Tea - good, maybe a bit heavy on the coconut milk.? Thai Spicy level of hotness in soup and curry is good, not too spicy if you like some heat.♨️ Dishes and soup were served piping hot as Thai should be.“

“Just moved to the Fort Walton Beach area and tried Peppers for the first time. We got there around 5pm. Not too many people there. Great atmosphere. Our server was outstanding. The food was so good we came back a 2nd time before the leaving Florida. Kisshna was so helpful and nice to meet. The food (both visits) was so fresh and sooooo good!! “Baan Thai is a family run restaurant that serves delicious, authentic Thai food. I’m a longtime patron of this restaurant and have always enjoyed my meals whether dining in person or ordering takeout. If you want something that’s not on their extensive menu, they’ll gladly make it for you. Atmosphere is quiet but very family friendly and the Thai decor is nice. Prices are very reasonable and I always leave with leftovers because they serve such large portions. If you haven’t tried this little gem, you’re missing out.“

“This was the first brewery I decided to check out in the area while I was out here for work. It's tucked away down a side street, but pretty convenient to get to it seemed. The woman behind the counter was extremely nice and legitimately seems to care about who patrons the place. The brewery itself was pretty cozy, going for an aviation theme, which makes sense with the Air Force base basically next door (explains the military discount they offer on Tuesdays as well). They had just opened the actual brewery equipment area in the back for guests and have corn hole back there and a few other board games to choose from. Seemed like a place for regulars to come to. Everyone at the bar seemed to know each other and the bartender. But it was also inviting to a non-local which usually isn't the case, so that was really cool of them. There's a good variety of beers to choose from with a bit of an emphasis on lighter styles/IPAs which is a-ok in my book with the heat Florida has to offer. The regular blonde was pretty standard, an easy drinker. I did sample the blood orange blonde as well, but it was very fruit forward and the small glass I had had orange residue after I finished. The blueberry Pilsner was also super fruit forward but I could appreciate them not lacking on the flavor for that one since I'm a sucker for blueberry beers. Overall cool little spot in an area without a lot of choices for breweries. It sounded like they were trying to make plans to do more with the space too, so I'd be excited to see what they come up with as time goes on.“
