“We went there twice in one week first day was awesome. And the second it wasn't as great my steak tips was red I ask for well done And my husband grits was salty but they corrected his food. “I found out today that my stepfather has metastases in his brain. He was not given long to live, so he and I were having breakfast here at the diner. The owner was at the checkout counter, he asked how my day was, I told him it could be better and let him know what was going on with my stepfather's diagnosis. He came from behind the counter and gave me a hug. He exuded love and kindness, I highly recommend this Diner as the food is really good and the owner has a huge heart“
“Many, many moons ago, I worked at Dennys. The store in Plantation FL and the one local here on 192 near the highway. Apparently, their standards have changed. My girlfriend and I took my two grand daughters for lunch on Fri. The waitress let us know she had been out caring for her grands for several days during spring break (I can relate, I had mine all week! Hence lunch at Dennys). She let us know she had been working there about 20 years and yet, she had to return to the table several times to confirm the order she had written down. Not sure if perhaps her age (I am 65 so not bashing here) may have caused some memory loss but, while very pleasant; she was a bit too friendly in an effort to co.pensate for what I felt was *new* server clumsiness. Just my take. Food was delish so the cooks are good. There was what appeared to be a store manager following up on staff on the floor. Store was clean, smelled good (no old grease smell)! A few years ago I had been with a friend and was overwhelmed by how bad the place was in every category. So glad they have gotten it together. I am an old lady but I think their day time shift needs to be a bit more youthful. The servers, with the exception of the floor manager, were all elderly. Looked like the local retirement center has them supplementing their social security lol. Very pleasant, just not young and youthful nor hustlers.“
“The food was delicious! I had Texas style French toast which was really good. The best I've had in a long time. The veggie omelette had a nice texture and taste. The price is excellent. You get a lot of food for the price. I would recommend coming here. I'll definitely be back.“
“We had Sheila as our waitress and she's been possibly the best waitress I've ever had. She's charismatic and attentive, and gave myself and my husband a booth big enough for our baby to fit in. The food was great, and cooked as ordered. This is probably the best Denny's location I've been to. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!“
