“One of our favorite places in Miami, we go with the whole family. The service is above all praise, the girls work wonderful. The place is not big, but very cozy, everything is new. The food is fresh, delicious beer. Ice cream for children. The most delicious floors for me are with chili sauce, as well as with eel. I recommend to everyone“
“Of the thai restaurants in the area my family and I chose this one because I wanted them to have a good thai food experience as I have living in Thailand, everyone had a good idea of what we wanted as for me I chose Tom yum soup and green curry, I must say everyone was happy with our dishes with one exception, of all the dishes I did not enjoy my Tom yum at all, I ate the 3 shrimps and left the lemongrass water because that was the Tom Yum, you see the Tom Yum I have in Thailand has more veggies and not just 3 shrimps and just water so overall I can't give it 5 stars because of that and also feel the place while cozy doesn't have enough thai decorations , happy dining. My honest opinion.Parking: Parking is no problemWheelchair accessibility: Is wheelchair accessible“
“Ronald was super nice and recommended some awesome dishes to us. He recommended the sampler which was divine. we tried a lot of things for the first time. Everyone made sure we were well taken care of. We will definitely be coming back again on our next trip to miami!“
“You guys will have a gastronomical orgasm here. From the sushi to the dessert I wanted to cry tears of joy with each bite. You guys remember when the restaurant critic had a bite of Remy’s ratatouille and it took him back to his childhood when he was just a lad, that’s what will happen to you here.“
“I was in town for a quick visit and I am so glad this was my dinner stop. The ambiance is great! It’s very quiet and well decorated. The seating is supportive of any kind of nice dinner you’d like to have with others—from business meetings to dates. Our waiter was really helpful in walking us through the menu and made great recommendations both in dishes not to miss and what was a reasonable amount of food. The cocktails were solid and varied enough that there was something for everyone. The mushroom in brown butter sauce and the lobster Alfredo are both stand out dishes not to be missed. This one is definitely worth your time.“
“Such an incredible atmosphere of being sat by the river. The staff was extremely attentive in the food came out very quickly. I was blown away by the quality and presentation. Everything was its own unique experience, including a wasabi and pineapple martini a must try. Ming will take care of you!“
“The service is excellent, you know it from the beginning to the end.Food also very good, the beef carpaccio very tender, the wagio sliders very tasty and the pasta with seafood was good but I sense that the seafood is not freah but from a frozen kind, I didn't ask..The place can be noisy if there is a group of young guys ?? talking very loudly“
“The food here was incredible and the customer service was fantastic. I truly enjoyed the braised mushroom dish, and the vegan sushi rolls. The bartender made me a custom drink with yuzu and mezcal that was vibrant and fresh. This is a great place for vegans and vegetarians, and also has options for meat eaters. I had wonderful conversations with the bar staff and Brian, and look forward to returning to Azabu.“
“Moshi Moshi is our go to spot for late night cravings in Miami. Their availability on Uber Eats makes it convenient to enjoy their delicious offerings. They have a diverse menu featuring sushi, Japanese classics, and innovative fusion dishes. They never fail to impress me. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or craving something unique they delivered flavorful dishes straight to my doorstep and ensured a satisfying experience every time. Can't wait to actually sit down and experience Moshi Moshi at their location in Brickell.“
“7.9/10 Dined on 3/11/24 Originally hailing from Austin, Uchi's Miami outpost serves non-traditional Japanese cuisine in a sleek and upscale environment. Uchi kind of feels like what Nobu was 15 years ago - an innovative twist on Japanese food. At Uchi, however, you won't find seemingly ubiquitous spicy mayo or rock shrimp tempura. We went for happy hour and sampled nearly all of the hot and cold dishes offered. Many were well conceptualized and delicious, but some fell a bit flat. Even happy hour was a four dollar sign affair, so we can only imagine the sticker shock of a full fledged dinner. Overall, Uchi was a very solid meal although the flavors did not soar quite as high as the price tag. See our full review on Instagram @twogaysthreetakes ________________________________ Oysters beet mignonette, orange Sake Tartare atlantic salmon, apple, nori chip Paloma Crudo suzuki, mescal zu, finger lime Walu Walu oak grilled escolar, candied citrus, yuzupon Crispy Rice gyutoro, broccoli, salsa macha, shallot Wagyu Gyoza chili crisp, mango chutney Spring Rolls duck confit, braised cabbage, spicy ponzu Karaage chicken thigh, sweet chili, seasonal pickles Fried Milk vanilla custard, salted fudge, toasted blondie ________________________________ Overall, I enjoyed our meal at Uchi. There were some dishes that were absolutely delicious - the paloma crudo, for example, which featured ultra-fresh sea bass in a light and smoky sauce. The walu walu was similarly excellent and glazed with sticky sweet candied citrus. The charred short rib served over a bed of crispy rice with flavorful salsa matcha was a treat. The wagyu gyoza were juicy and surprisingly paired well with the mango chutney. Not every dish stood out though. The spring rolls with duck confit were minuscule and lackluster for the price and the sauce was far too thin to cling to the rolls. The chicken karaage was inconsistent - some pieces were crisp while others lacked breading and felt soggy. The fried milk dessert was good, but its arrival with the check was tacky and soured the end of an otherwise pleasant meal. -TWP ________________________________ Uchi happy hour is basically just bougie girl dinner. We got half off a bottle of sparkling rosé and a series of small bites that ranged a bit in their quality, but on average were well-conceptualized and featured top notch ingredients. The raw seafood stood out for being extremely fresh and were often paired with an interesting citrus-forward sauce. The crispy rice and gyutoro was also very tasty and well-executed and felt like the best value on the menu. Some other items, notably the spring rolls with duck confit, felt really skimpy for their price and didn't wow us in any particular way. Overall, Uchi offers creative dishes and excellent ingredients, but lacks the value and consistency of our highest-rated restaurants. -JB“
“Wonderful restaurant, plentiful and quality food. The waiter André served us so well, answered our questions and recommended only good things for us. It's not cheap, but you get quality and quantity! Go ahead, you won't regret it!“
“During my previous visit /delivery weeks ago I had an issue with my order. The manager Julio Carreno went above and beyond to make sure this time I would be highly satisfied and my order would be perfect and he would hand deliver it himself to make sure everything was done correctly. I must say he's a man of his word and made everything perfect. On top of the wonderful service and great tasting sushi, I received a dessert and a bag of corn nuts. Thanks again Julio for everything, I appreciate you.“
“This is by far my favorite restaurant in Miami. The staff is incredibly attentive (I dropped my chopsticks and they came with an extra set before I could even pick them up, they held doors open and were so kind). Besides that the food was so yummy, and they made sure to adhere to the restrictions of my gluten free siblings. The ambience is stunning with outside seating and not too much noise. The manager came by to our table and made sure we were enjoying the dinner. Overall incredible experience.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“What a great experience! Right in South Miami! Our waitress, Karen, was amazing! Very attentive and extremely helpful with the menu and drinks. She recommended the Omakase Signature to share. It comes with a variety of sushi. Compliments to the chef, it was exactly what we wanted and needed. 100% recommend coming down and seeing Karen and enjoying the delicious food and atmosphere!“
“One of the MOST INSANELY SCRUMPTIOUS MEALS in Miami - wepa!!!! All the 5 appetizers we ordered, and the 2 main dishes… everything had a delicious and a unique twist on Dominican / Japanese infusion. Also… the server Liz was very quick and MUY AMABLE to our group and made us feel welcomed!“
“I was around the area so I decided to take out it was almost midnight but they open late so I ordered on the phone because I couldn't order on mine so the gentleman was really nice on the phone. I had the chicken fried rice, salmon tacos, and California roll, everything was perfect so good and the pick up was fast. They called me when it was done that was nice of them.“
“A small restaurant, with a very good and chill environment inside. Both the host at the entrance and the waitress "Andreina" were so friendly. The food was very yummy and, if you’re thinking about for getting a meal outside, Moshi Moshi has the best prices for you. One of my favorites places in South Beach for getting Japanese food.“
“Our experience on April 16th was superb, starting from the food and ending with the exceptional service. Our wine and water was refilled promptly and consistently ,my chair was gently pulled back when going and coming from the bathroom,to find also a new napkin waiting for me.The ladies on the floor were engaging, polite and passionate.GREAT JOB!.I fully enjoyed my time at Shingo.A big thank you to the chef and team for their dedication.“
“Faux-makase! (Fake omakase) is exactly what it is. Self proclaimed “non traditional omakase.” Also know as slow-makase. Nossa deserves a noose-a. I was recommended this restaurant by my hotel concierge. Had a horrible experience here. Should have known since they require pre-payment online via tock which actually codes as professional services and not a restaurant so they avoid the credit card fees. By the way, they will ask you to pay a ridiculous and mandatory 20% service charge plus tax after your “meal.” After payment, you will receive an email which says “The day of your reservation you will receive an email with instructions to access to the speakeasy bar.” However, I never received any email. I put nossa into google and it took me to the filthy, run down Hyatt centric hotel. I went inside and asked where the restaurant was and they took me through a stinky alley next to the hotel trash room said to knock the door. This made me extremely uncomfortable and almost decided to just leave. Little did I know the horror I was about to experience. I knocked the door and a lady asked for the password so I gave my last name on the reservation. She didn’t open and kept asking for a password. I demanded she open the door and gave my last name on the reservation. She said I should have received instructions on a paper from another restaurant on the other side of the street which I was not informed of. She said I was late and that they already started so she showed me to my seat. The room felt like a sewer with too many people crammed around a dirty scratched up bar. I was in group 11 which means there were at least 20 guests there. The music was horrendous and unbearable. The ambiance was very creepy. The staff smelled really bad. I was offered a welcome drink which I opted for a sparking water which was not sparking at all as it was flat without bubbles so they brought me a bottle instead. They didn’t ask about any allergies and handed me the first course which I had to spit out because it contained alcohol which I don’t drink. The chef kept inaudibly shouting out the descriptions of the dishes for each course towards different corners of the room in an attempt for everyone to hear but you only hear and understand the words which were said in your direction. All the ingredients were old and not fresh. The food did not taste good. The portions were tiny so don’t think you’ll be full when you leave here by any means. The place is extremely unsanitary. The chef even wipes your plates using the same towel as the previous groups one after another. I was absolutely disgusted. Finally the last course came and again I was served alcohol without being told what it was. Luckily the chef caught it before I could drink it and replaced it with iced tea. I asked if we’re were finished and she said yes. The experience was a complete waste of time so we were happy to walk out and leave. The lady chased us on our way out and said there was an additional payment to be made for gratuity and tax. I asked if this was mandatory and she answered yes. Mind you this was never communicated before. She also said she didn’t have a wireless credit card machine so I gave her my physical card to go swipe and come back. The chef came out, handed me my receipt and credit card then asked: “Is there a reason why you’re unhappy.” I answered: Yes, I didn’t enjoy the experience. He shrugged his shoulders and replied: “I’m sorry but unfortunately not everybody does, I guess” I was shocked and just stormed out. Exit left next to the trash room, literally.“
“I have never before had a culinary experience like my time at Hiyakawa. From the moment you walk in you’ll be greeted by Amber and taken to your table, where you’re family. If you’re having trouble deciding on what to order, ask Miguel to give you the Miguelito special, your taste buds with thank you. Don’t sleep on the premier sushi/omakase experience in Miami!“
“I recommend them 100%,,,,Excellent quality of food, a very pleasant atmosphere and spectacular service, special mention for Angela and the bartender, with some luxury cocktails, I recommend the Moscow mule, a nice experience for my daughter on her birthday (18), I will surely return!!“
“OMG!!! Just WOOWW!!!! Please come here if you are by the area! You won’t regret it! The place is absolutely beautiful! The minute you walk in, you feel so at peace and relaxed! Such a beautiful atmosphere and even better service! The food was so quick to come and the waitress and waiter were the kindest and most attentive people ever! I remember the cheesy noodles (I was too hungry to take a pic) but just look at this Nutella crepe!!! BEST ASIAN RESTAURANT!!“
“Don't hesitate to book a table at this gem of a restaurant—it's quickly become my top choice for sticky rice and omakase dining in the area. It is located in a vibrant area with a spacious courtyard and various shops, and it offers the perfect opportunity for a post-meal exploration or dancing. The 16-course omakase experience here is a standout, especially for someone accustomed to the sushi scenes in NYC. It competes strongly on both quality and price. From the outset, the hostess Caroline set the tone with her warm, attentive service, ensuring my water glass was never empty and making my solo dining experience far from lonely through engaging conversations. The chef, with her Laotian heritage, masterfully prepared each dish, from the hand rolls to the sticky rice selections, adding a personal touch that enhances the dining experience. The variety of dishes was impressive, with the Japanese scallops, the A5 Wagyu hotplate, and the hand rolls being my personal highlights. To finished off the evening, the hostess surprised me with an early birthday desert treat. This, was truly the highlight of my food trip in Miami.Every time I find myself in Miami, this will undoubtedly be my chosen spot for an exceptional dining experience.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant and space has a ramp to enter the space.“
“dali helped me at my dining tonight and must i said what a survive she asked me if i like everything i ate which i thought was a very good survive we definitely will be coming back also i asked what an ingredient was in the tuna tataki which is great by the way and she told me exactly what that ingredient was“
“First time here, and it won't be my last. Amazing food, service, and ambiance! Nicole was our server, and she was a delight. She went above and beyond and made sure we were well taken care of. The hostess was lovely, and the manager came by to check in a few times. I highly recommend this restaurant!Vegetarian options: We had several vegetarian options that were delicious. The saffron corn dim sum was my favorite.Dietary restrictions: There are options for dietary restrictions. And ask your server as well.Parking: We used the valet, which was most convenient.“
“Excellent atmosphere, ambience, and service. The menu includes very detailed and accurate photos of all the dishes. The food exceeded even my high expectations, and the meal was very affordable for the quality. Will certainly be coming back. Thank you Leonela for the excellent service!“
“Amazing service. The food got delivered very fast to the table. The Atlantic roll and Mango tango is a must, very delicious. The portion of the sushi is very good for the price. Thanks to the waiter Ann, she was very sweet and gave us suggestions about different rolls.“
“Had amazing experience at this restaurant! The food really exceeded my expectations, especially for being in the middle of Wynwood, I personally haven't had many good dining experiences here. My favorite were the Rock n Roll tempura and the Hoshi Dragon rolls, which were their signature dishes. The fish was fresh, and the dishes were all visually appealing. The service was also excellent, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. I will definitely be coming back!“
“Im hesitant to post this because it’s truly a hidden gem right now but this restaurant/market and chef Takashi deserve their praise. It’s the best and most authentic sushi I have had in Miami. It’s the only nigiri I’ve had that has the proper size and freshness you would expect from good, high quality nigiri. By far the most similar to the nigiri I have had in Japan. No tiny pieces where they’re skimping you out on fish and loading it with rice and sprinkling truffle oil to make a sad piece of nigiri look appealing. This is the real deal and so worth it. Can’t wait to check it out in person“
“107 taste has the best food in town! So good with complex, tasteful flavors that take you to Asia with every bite. My family and friends are regulars. It's not just the atmosphere and food but the staff also are friendly and nice. If you want to try a place that leaves your stomach happy eat at 107 taste. I like the spicy ramen soups, takes my occasional headaches away.Vegetarian options: You can always customize your meals to not include protein and they have lots of vegetables and vegetarian sides like ear mushrooms or bamboo shoots.Kid-friendliness: They are a family friendly environment“
“We had an amazing experience ordering Taiko Sushi in our stay in Miami, the delivery was fast and the fish was very fresh, you can notice the quality of the food at a glance also, the presentation of the pieces were also very good and well organized in the “barco” I will definitely order it again in our next stay in Miami.“
“My Tokyo born wife and I usually sit at the counter and talk to the chef while he works. We could not do that here but we enjoyed dinner even though it was served in groups of sushi. The toro was very good as was the eel. Sake options were wide and we enjoyed a bottle of dry sake. It is a small space not as cluttered as our dives in Tokyo but ii did have a nice family feel. The staff was very helpful and kind. We asked for "small rice" and they did as we asked. It is sort of tucked in to the back of a large condo building and finding it takes a bit of persistence.“
“For starters, this restaurant is legendary and still going strong for almost 40 years...and, once again, the service by our absolutely favorite server, Shanti, is unrivaled. Yes, she knows the menu! Yes she's a great server! Yes, she's efficient. Most of all, Shanti is a gem of a human being. She exudes everything one would expect from a family outing. Making everyone around her happy and comfortable. Of course, the food is sensational, as always. Thank you Shanti again for making our evening memorable. Lilly and I love you and can't wait to see you again. Great meal! Best server ever!“
“Top secret! Happy hour all day (at the bar)Ask for Lucas or Frenchie (tell ‘em FLEX sent ya!)Be sure to tip well because of the deep discounts!!Georgios (who owns Santorini Greek Restaurant - south of fifth) took over this spot and is really making it shine again.Come check it out!“
“The most delicious food in Miami. Picky-eater friendly as well! I absolutely recommend the noodles, as they are served hot and delicious. Choose what you want to cook and you cook it exactly how you like it, thats why I love Gyu-Kaku! The staff at this location know how to make you feel like a superstar, 5 stars!“
“That was on a different level than me and my lady have experienced before. We read no reviews and had zero expectations and had the a BEST time. The food was beyond expectation but the atmosphere and service tired the whole experience to the perfect evening. We ordered extra chutoro, Spanish mackerel, and hobo at the end understanding this is a seasonal menu we can’t wait to come back for every season. 100/10 of an experience!“
“This was right across the street from our hotel and we thought about trying it a few times. Our Uber driver told us it was great so went the next morning for an early lunch. Our host/server was welcoming and gave us some great advice on the menu. The entire staff was friendly. It’s a small restaurant with a dozen bar stools or so and similar number of tables. Luckily we were there early and it was a holiday so no problem with seating. It was impeccably clean. We shared a few small plates including scallion pancakes, spring rolls and chicken dumplings. The mandarine orange sauce with the spring rolls was yummy. Food came quickly and was hot and fresh. The flavors were amazing. It was the best tasting food we had during our weekend in Miami.“
“Best sushi-train-style restaurant I've been to. Plates float along a continuously replenished river around a central bar and you are free to grab and go as you please. Prices are determined at the end by your stack of plates and each individual plate's color (reference board of prices are on the east wall). They do not take reservations and the small place fills up almost instantly - write your name, leave a number, and head to one of the local bars to grab a drink while you wait. They'll call you and you'll have 3 minutes to arrive or they'll consider it abandoned.Parking is fairly easily found with street parking and muni surface lot behind.Good sake collection, plus an additional menu to order hot items.9.5/10 would recommend!Vegetarian options: I saw a couple of avocado rolls and seaweed salad for sure. I'm guessing the menu has the rest of the options.“
“The best restaurant in Medellín now here in Miami, everything excellent, the food, the atmosphere, the location but above all the attention from Leo and José who made us feel very welcome and were always very attentive. We will be back . Many successes!“
“Enzo is one of the most professional guy I have ever met. He’s always on a good mod , very respectful polite, smile on his face , proper clean uniform and ready for his customers, always knows and remembers what I order and never disappoints, food is excellent and environment absolutely awesome, I’ll recommend this please ? % . 10 stars ⭐️“
“Delicious sushi, the Chef's preparation, I loved the superStarts roll, my favorite today, the service was very friendly and the place is nice, we celebrated birthdays and Delphina served us very nice and helpful.Vegetarian options: Rich and delicious !!“
“I dine at Sushi Chef about every ten days, for good reason. It serves proper, correctly prepared Japanese food and has done so consistently for years. It is not a fancy place, but the food is extraordinarily good. Just delicious. And it is clean as a whistle, a rarity for Miami restaurants. Go there, you will not be disappointed.“
“This was a great place to have sushi with my family. The service was great, everyone was warm and welcoming. Everything we ordered was fresh and very tasty. I ill definitely come back to this one, a little hidden gem.The gyozas miso soup is SO good! You gotta try it!“
“Really wonderful experience here! Food was fresh and came out fairly quickly. One area for improvement: hire additional servers. There was only one girl working. She busted her hump and did great but I can't imagine if the place was busier... she wouldn't have been able to keep up. I think she had at least 6 tables while we were there.“
“Not gonna lie.. One of the reasons we fly out from the Caribbean to go to Miami. We love everything from this place.. Food bussinn....Staff always friendly and helpful. We can wait to be there again. If you cant fly to Japan for food just come here.“
“Clarine was our server, she was awesome!I loved the dishes! The items that stood out most and are still on my mind is the Pollo Picante, the King Oyster Mushroom Tostadas, and the Tiger roll. The drinks were awesome as well, good potency! I asked Clarine what are some popular cocktails according to what she has seen her guests select. She pointed to the Sawayaka. It was delicious and fit for edging off a hard day at work. The one thing I was unaware of is that the venue has an entertainer, the lady who danced with fire, and the DJ. They both were great and complemented each other in perfect synchronization. Thank you!“
“Osaka is like a masterclass in maximizing the creative potential of fusion cuisine. The dishes and cocktails are Peruvian-Japanese inspired and all an exciting experience in themselves. Our group of 6 went to Osaka with an open mind ready to try anything - our server Daniel made our experience, taking the time to personally curate a sampling of many of the highlights from Osaka. Essentially like a hand-picked omakase experience. He was thoughtful, attentive, and funny and gave us all the information on everything presented, checking in to see how we liked the various things chosen. Definitely want to recognize him for his service as he made our first-time experience exceptional! Some of the highlights of the food (that I can remember to describe accurately, at least!) included a tartare dish served on squid ink-infused nori crackers and sprinkled with gold leaf (the first dish chosen and a true show-stopper), the Japanese scallop nigiri (simple but incredibly flavorful and seared at our table), the Wagyu beef and crispy shrimp rolls topped with foie gras (also freshly seared at our table), the Japanese beef prepared table-side with quail eggs and a foie gras topping, the raw wagyu served with a hot stone for table-side searing along with a delicious side of crispy potatoes, and a very buttery soft fish dish (I think the black cod?).Aside from how delicious and fresh the food was, the presentation and preparation was a huge part of the experience. Many things as mentioned were seared at the table, prepared table-side, or allowed us to freshly cook our food. Also adding to the experience was the art of the cocktail presentation. Many of the cocktail were served very beautifully and they had exceptional flavor. Our party ordered their version of the Negroni that came presented in a smoking box. A couple of us also had the cocktail that had green tea/matcha (I don't remember the name :/) and it was also beautifully presented as a pour-over in a small bowl with crushed ice. Aside from presentation, both cocktails had expertly balanced flavors and definitely tasted as good as they looked. Osaka overall is an incredible experience and highly recommend! And a big thank you again to Daniel for being a big part making our experience amazing!“
“The Ichimi Ramen was really good, it tasted very different from other tonkotsu ramen ive had before, this was tasted more earthy and I loved it. The atmosphere was nice, low music, good ambience. Extremely fast, ordered the food and it was on my table under 5min. 100% recommend.“
“Wow! What an incredible dining experience at Kissaki. New favorite sushi spot in Miami. The sushi here is simply divine - each piece of fish melts in your mouth. Definitely try to scallop and the chutoro nigiri. I never thought I'd enjoy uni, but the uni pasta here slaps. It was creamy, rich, and had the perfect balance of flavors. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, the Matcha Tiramisu blew me away. It was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal. The service was impeccable. I can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu. If you're a sushi lover or just looking for a memorable dining experience in Miami, Kissaki is a must-visit“
“Just perfect! We went to try this place based on the reviews and I have to say that it was one of the best choices in Florida. From the moment we opened the door to enter the place until we left we enjoyed every minute. We ordered 3 types of sushi Arigatai Fuego Roll, Evi Roll and Tsunami Roll. All 3 were very TOP, a mix of textures and flavors that are worth trying. As for the service, it was equal to or better than the food. Ricardo, who served us, was very kind and helpful, always attentive, attentive and without overwhelming us, we just knew he was there but without overwhelming us. Thanks Richard! This type of customer service makes people want to return to places. The atmosphere is also spectacular, background music with the right volume, everything clean and well placed, beautiful decoration, in short, this place deserves not 5 but 10 stars.100% recommended. We will definitely return“
