“Service and food were !! We can only speak to the sushi but it was wonderful. Their rolls are refreshing and unique and we can't wait to go back to try more! We split the boat for two and it was more than enough sushi and sashimi for three people.“
“I've been visiting Sharks regularly for three years when staying with relatives in Port Charlotte. I'm from Massachusetts where Seafood restaurants are relatively common. My first encounter with the menu was the Coconut Shrimp with Fries and Coleslaw recommended by my Mom. I simply loved it. Mom mentioned that my dad used to take her to Sharks weekly. The Shrimp is always fresh and the Fries always crunchy. Please pardon my lack of interest in their other menu items. I'm addicted even after three years. Ann (the co-owner and server) doesn't need to give us a menu anymore. She just sighs and brings me my selection. Mind Reading??? Ann is a lovely, charming lady. Very attentive to her customers. Her assistant server Linda is a pleasure to talk to as well. I'll be going back to Mass in a couple of weeks. Early March to be specific. When I'm fighting off the Snow, Cold and Polar Bears in July and August in the far cold North of Massachusetts. Townsend to be exact. I'll be wistfully thinking of the Coconut Shrimp with Fries and Coleslaw. Sigh.“
“Excellent food! Nice atmosphere and reminded me of Taylor Street and Chicago. Traditional Mediterranean/Italian decor Staff was quite blunt, to the point of being almost rude. But, I would highly recommend this place. The food is a bit pricey, but worth it. When you see the location, do not let it fool you, it is worth a visit.“
“We stopped here when we were at the Christmas celebration in Wellen Park. My husband and I shared a fish fry. It was big enough for both of us! Pricing was decent and the food was good. Menu is pretty good for being more of a "pop-up" location (it's made from a 20' shipping container-pretty cool!)“
“Great location, food, and service! We visited twice during our recent vacation. The Firecracker Shrimp Tacos were fresh, delicious, and had the right amount of spice. The cocktails run a bit sweet, but the atmosphere is just wonderful with views of the river and wildlife.“
“I had lunch there one time and it happens to this salad on special, I believe it fanzo salmon salad with mango salsa it was so delicious! So i went back is not on the menu anymore! Then i ask the waitress about it if they will have it on regular menu, and she said it’s possible. Because there’s a lot of people asking for it she said. I called today and still dont have it on the menu.“
“We enjoyed a wonderful meal and experience at Magnolias last night with friends visiting from Texas! Everyone did a wonderful job from the fellas who valeted our car to the receptionist, and the bartenders and an extra special shout-out to our server, Tyra! And the food was fabulous—the best Sea bass we have ever tasted!“
“My husband and I tried Farlows, and loved it so much we came back the next night. Our server Greg, was absolutely amazing. He made the whole experience so much better. Very personable, and provided great service. The food was amazing as well. The atmosphere is great too. We will definitely be back every time we are in town.“
“Came here with my family to visit from Kansas City, Was a wonderful atmosphere and service was wonderful. We had to try the bbq seeing how one of our family members is a chef at bbq restaurant back home. They went above and beyond and a huge shout out to Carl for taking such care of us and our bellies. 10/10 on live music, service, food, and scenery.“
“Great Sushi according to my dining friend. I enjoyed their Shrimp Tempura..light and crispy batter and so delicious. Hot sake was not bad either. Menu is definitely endless like their "all you can eat" Buffet, which costs less than $30, and all your choices are freshly prepared and made to order... No selections on any steam table! Includes desserts. A kid's menu is also available. Staff very friendly and atmosphere bright and inviting. Recommended Tokyo highly. Ample parking.“
“We came here for lunch on a beach day and we're not disappointed. This place is beautiful, has live music, and is very lively all in all. The service was good despite it being packed when we were there. FYI, the parking lot says full, but we found someone leaving, so we're able to park anyway. The food was great bar style food. I got the shrimp fritters, which were fried crispy and flaky, and the sauce was yummy. My son got the Kickin chicken sandwich. The fries were amazing! My husband got the pulled pork mini-dillas, which he greatly enjoyed, but complained that they were NOT mini whatsoever. In fact, they gave him 3 full sized quesadillas! It's a meal of you get it, or an app to share with 3 people. They had a great selection of beer and other alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages also. I would love to return here next year without our son for dinner and sit at one of their fireplace seats.“
“If you like to eat where the locals eat... here it is! Nothing fancy here but it's clean. The food is good, the service is good and the prices are reasonable. We've just added this to our list of favorite breakfast spots too! PS. Try the crabmeat omelette!!“
“When I first talked in I didn't have high hopes for this place. You wait outside but you can't eat outside. Food is fried but you get huge portions. It's very good if you like fried seafood. We thought it was great and I'm giving it 5 stars. The atmosphere is just ok but come for the food. Service was good too. Did I say you get a huge amount of food? No charge to split plates.“
“Wonderful dining experience for an Easter Luncheon. Food was absolutely delicious! It was nice that they had a special Easter menu but also their regular menu for choices. Dessert portions were humungus..enough for 4 people. Very crowded but well organized with parking and parking attendants working hard to accommodate everyone. Will definitely go back.Parking: See previous note. Some had to park across the bridge but there was a shuttle to take you.“
“Great place and the food was delicious and very generous. Unfortunately, we had a very loud group behind us who made it very difficult for our party to hear each other. I can understand people enjoying themselves but they need to think of others.“
“We got there right after they opened and sat at the bar, ordered oysters right away, they were better tasting, better sized, better priced than competition closer to downtown! Then ordered 2 weekend special boils, 1 hot juicy, 1 garlic. Both great. Recommend this place!“
“Am I ever glad I chose RJ's for lunch today! I'd been craving fried fish, but had no idea how delicious it could be! I ordered the 8-ounce haddock filet, with coleslaw and potato salad for sides. The cole slaw was so fresh that it almost didn't taste like coleslaw! ? The potato salad had a hint of mustard flavor, and was equally as fresh and delicious as the coleslaw. The fish was out of this world! I admit to treating myself to a glass of red sangria, which was perfect. There's a reason RJ's is rated highly. Better get there early if you want a table at lunch time!“
“I loved Island Court. They sell freshly caught fish and some cooked items. Although there is no seating area, the cashier set me up with Ritz crackers and some homemade mahi mahi dips and actually shared her own water bottle stash.Next time I go there I'll bring my own dishes and drinks.“
“Great place. We needed a lunchtime seafood fix & it exceeded. Oysters big, tasty & shucked perfect. Coconut shrimp better then usual. Lobster roll was 5*. I've had all over in De., L, .I.,NY and here are better. Fresh, & hand cut fries, great coleslaw & young lady server was excellent.Would take this over Farlows anytime. Nothing against Farlows, but...“
“Service was great. Our party all.had the Reuben sandwich, wasn't bad but definitely not the best I have ever had. Our normal lunch spot when in Englewood was packed to the gills so we decided to try Stefanos. Over all it was good. Will return if the same scenario occurs. We recommend.“
“We love the food at this Italian restaurant. I usually choose the Italian salad side to go with my meal as it's excellent and always fresh. The Fettuccine Alfredo is also the best of any restaurant in our opinion. We've had the pork chop meal in the past and it was excellent too. Their zucchini frites were crispy and delicious, and the sautéed spinach side dish was really tasty too. We found out the hard way that their Marinara sauce has anchovies in it, so now we make sure to get Pomodoro sauce, but they happily replaced it. Highly recommend this restaurant!“
“We love the food and the owners! We usually do take care as often as we can because of our busy schedule and any opportunity we have abday off we dine in. The food is the closest to Grandma's cooking. RIP Babushka ? Highly recommend for authentic Russian dishes.“
