“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but I lived in Okeechobee for 10 years everywhere. I go the food taste. Lab made chicken weird textures. The food nowadays doesn’t even taste real around here, but this place has been by far the best tasting fresh food I’ve had here in years.”

“The Acai bowls are phenomenal! However the service is beyond anything I could ask for. About a year ago I was told I needed gallbladder surgery, which would be an elective surgery and be around $6k. At that time I didn't have that kind of money so, what I did was research and come to find out Watermelon juice helps with gallbladder flare ups . I called sublime and they were waiting on their first seasonal shipment of Watermelon (arriving tomorrow but gallbladder pain feels like 3 weeks) I asked if it could be straight Watermelon no jalapeño, the owner said absolutely. When the shipment arrived she made me 6 bottles of 100% Watermelon juice I drank all 6 in 7 days. I went a year with out a gallbladder flare up! A YEAR! (I also cut fried foods way back) My diet is the same today as when I changed it. I had a minor flare and my first call was sublime! The owner, (absolutely a beautiful soul) made me some Watermelon water. I am on day 2 of the watermelon water and my gallbladder has relaxed! Sublime was put here for a reason!”

This place needs to set up shop in Michigan.....next to my house!! Their service is also great. Not only do they treat their customers well, listening to the interactions between the employees was nice. They truly were kind to each other.”

“Met a wonderful young lady on our Sunday afternoon trip , her name was Taylor and she took wonderful care of me and my husband! The food was amazing and well worth the wait , Taylor answered every question we had about the menu and made us some delicious drinks that paired so well with our tacos. Never been treated so well at an outside tiki bar ! Can’t wait to come back and try something new and scrumptious again !”

“Taqueria Victoria is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon while driving by, and I’m so glad I stopped! The food was absolutely excellent—fresh, flavorful, and authentic, with tacos that hit all the right spots. What made the experience even better was the personalized service; the staff treated me like a regular, making sure every detail was perfect with genuine warmth and care. On top of that, the prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. It’s rare to find a place that nails the food, service, and value so perfectly. Taqueria Victoria is now on my must-visit list, and I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!”

“We stopped in after looking for a place to grab a bite after a long day of travel. The service was top notch, food was delicious, happy hour specials were great! It was just what we needed. We were only in town for two days. We liked it so much we went back the next night. Happened to be taco Tuesday. It was packed in there and we weren’t sure if we were up for waiting. No problem! We got great service again and the tacos were the best!!”

“The first look needs updating, inside and out; relocate to a newer facility or build a new larger bldg., toilet area in men's rest room, needs a door, so the urinal can be used at the same time. The food and service were very good. large portion was large i feel that, if the bldg. was updated, that more family-type people would be coming. just looking at the bldg. is a turnoff”

“I’ve tried four of the original 7 now and will say this is Okeechobees best coffee shop, why they need three Dunkin’s I’ll never know. Staff are very friendly, drinks are quick and delicious, good location, smooth 7 is my favorite.”

“The food is really delicious! Every meal we have there is always cooked to perfection. I really suggest the fluffy Omelets and Eggs Benedict. Also, their Chicken Philly is one of my favorites. Everything always tastes so fresh. The staff at Lakeside Grill are incredibly friendly and efficient, always making our experience outstanding!”

“This spot is a absolute must try the best tacos hands down. I tried the asada (steak), chorizo, and pastor (pork). Everything down to the tortilla was delicious, the rice was fluffy the beans had that perfect refried consistency. 10\\10 will go out of my way to try again.”

I usually place my orders to go as they tend to stay busy all day. other than the food being beyond amazing the ladies here for the most part recognize a majority of their customers and welcome them back every time the wait times can be up to 15 minuets at times but it is worth the wait every time. 10/10”

“We went there on a Friday night and we were the only people in the restaurant! There were two dirty tables when we arrived, and stayed dirty through our entire time. The cheese dip that we ordered was very thin and they had to look for salsa! With that said, we ordered drinks and our meal. The chips were homemade and fresh from the fryer! Delicious and HOT!. All four of us ordered the skirt steak, that was served with beans and rice. Usually they were just extras, but they were delicious! We ate all, paid our bill that was reasonable and will be back!”

The food can be hit or miss—sometimes it’s great, other times not quite as much—but the overall experience is enjoyable. Connie, in particular, is an amazing waitress who goes above and beyond to make your visit pleasant.

“Food was excellent, hot and cooked how I ordered it. Waitress a little blah and I’m disabled so when I took some food to go it would have been nice if she offered to help put in boxes, Also front desk to make reservations wasn’t to friendly either, they told me I had a reservation made for 730 and they took my phone number and told me that they would text me when the table is ready. I got here at 7:30 waited 10 minutes. No call. I asked the desk and she said oh no, that’s not what they do just show up so I was not happy with that information that I received incorrectly,. also, the waitress should have came and asked if our food was OK after we were eating it to make sure it was the one thing I did appreciate was she brought us some extra bread.”
