“My first time here and it did not disappoint! I did a 2 meat/2 side plate with the brisket, pork belly, baked beans, and mac n cheese. The guys were even nice enough to let me sample a rib since it was my first time. I'm usually an extra sauce on the side girl when it comes to BBQ, but everything was seasoned well and I didn't need anything. The brisket was super tender, the pork belly pieces had good fat/meat ratio, and the rib was delicious too!The baked beans are on the more tangier bbq sauce side if you like that, and the mac n cheese hit the spot.I was in the area but live in Pensacola and would say it's worth a drive over for the BBQ!“

“Looks like a shack but awesome bbq. The meat is smoked with sauce on the side. Their house sauce has a little kick. Burnt ends are the star but all is so very good. It is seasonal so might be gone soon but the pumpkin cream pie was amazing.“

“Blue Dot is ghetto fabulous. The burgers here are always consistent. The menu is super simple. If it's your first time, just get the Burger, it's what they are known for and it's probably the best thing on the menu. Now to address the ghetto part, they don't seem to care about the hours of operation, you need to make sure to call ahead of time, the voicemail won't let you leave a message. You can try your luck and just go but you may be disappointed.“

“Food was delicious!!!...Our waiter: Darrin, was nice and extremely patient with our large party. The food: the appetizer-Loaded Tater Tots and Egg Rolls was delicious.the main dish- We ordered everything from burgers and fries to the 4 meat options with Baked beans, Mac &Cheese and Sweet Potato (that came with Cinnamon, Brown Sugar, and Butter mixture on the side). Everything was Delicious! It was EXTREMELY nice to see the owner/manager greet his guest and converse with the individual that visit this establishment. (Something u rarely see.)DISCLAIMER: We are from a different state and our level of spice and seasoning is total different from the rest of the ? (world). IN OUR OPINION...the chicken needs more seasoning; the other meats (pork, ribs, brisket) we had were delicious, and wonderfully seasoned. To the owner: WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK,From The Family with the GMC like urs!?“

“My husband and I weren't sure of the hours as we hadn't been before and didn't realize they usually close around 5 when the food runs out. We stopped by around 7:15 and Phil explained his hours but then welcomed us in after closing to be out of the rain and graciously packed up 2 combo meals with fresh fried okra and an extra sandwich for us to go!! He is so incredibly kind-we will definitely be back and spread the word. We inhaled our dinner when we got home and it was BOMB. Thank you so much, Phil!!!“

“Food was amazing! Our waiter was also great, dinner took a while to be served, but when it was served and it was hot and delicious. Our waiter kept checking on us, he did state the kitchen was low on staff. Worth the wait. Also, if you have kids, there is a nice spot for them to play on the beach while waiting.2nd year in a row we ate dinner at the Water Pig, seriously some of the best barbecue! This will be an annual place for our family. We also fished off the shore right behind the restaurant and ordered some loaded tater tots, delicious.“
