“I was in town for UFYL Footbal tournament. Dinner plans with an old friend put us at Wasabi Steakhouse. The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful and we were immediately shown to our table. We chose the hibachi side of the steakhouse. Once we were seated, we were informed we couldn't order drinks from the bar because the bartender left at 7pm...we were highly disappointed! But we ended up going with the plum wine which was really good, sweet but good!!! Bring on the chef!!! The hibachi presentation was very entertaining. The food was excellent except the rice was a tad bit salty but the noodles and the rest of meal was fine. The service at the steakhouse was top tier and they allowed us to catch up without feeling rushed or in the way. Overall, I was pleased with my experience at Wasabi and would recommend a visit for family and friends if you are in Plant City!”

I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, and hubs got a calzone. The spaghetti sauce is always fresh tasting and yummy. The meatballs are nothing short of exquisite. Calzones are always a great idea. Can't wait till our next visit!”

“I LOVE Brooklyn bridge! I've been going here since I was 16 years old in high school! I'm 35 now and still love them. My favorites are the original Cubans, and their famous loaded baked potatos. Those are definitely worth every cent!!!!”

“My daughter and I were on our way back to the Tampa Airport to fly back to Nova Scotia. We wanted to try the Waffle House but did so much we never got the chance until now. It didn’t disappoint! We ordered a cheesesteak sandwich with onions, mushrooms and jalapeños, biscuit gravy, a breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns and raisin toast. Just for fun we ordered a cinnamon crunch waffle. The food was excellent and my daughter commented on how delicious everything was including the chocolate milk.

Even better than the food was the service! Our server Hayzel was very friendly as she described that serving goes back generations in her family. Her attentiveness to detail was notable and excellent rapport with staff and clients alike.

I would highly recommend a trip to the waffle house, in particular this location!

“DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. If you go in and order they're great! I've been eating here for a couple years, and since March, every time I order online (either third party or directly through the website) my food is messed up. The receipt reads correctly, the order itself is just wrong. I've never had an issue when I go in and order. I ONLY have this issue when I order online. They also make the portions smaller with online orders vs in person. I WILL NOT order online again. ONLY in person.”

“To the lady on the line who overheard my husband place my order and worked absolute MAGIC, thank you. I wish I knew your name. Per my request, my husband asked for a crazy amount of mushrooms to be added to my steak and cheese sandwich. He told the gentleman taking the order that his wife was very pregnant (I am, at 37 weeks) and needed ALL of the mushrooms. Most of the time, it’s just a few scattered mushrooms anytime I’ve asked anywhere else, which is honestly what I expected. This wonderful lady who made my sandwich DELIVERED. She ever so thoufhtfully listened and generously obliged and I cannot thank her enough. Here’s why - this is my 4th and last baby and the hardest pregnancy I’ve had by far. I was diagnosed early on with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which is INSANE nausea (and the bodily functions that accompany it) throughout the duration of my pregnancy - not just the first trimester like most women. It’s been the longest, hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’ve been hospitalized, dehydrated, and barely making it through. With that, I’ve had NO pregnancy cravings. I was robbed of that joy this time around. I’ve only had aversions this whole time and then just foods I could tolerate, usually meal replacement shakes. For whatever reason today, I wanted this sandwich with those mushrooms and I was so hopeful it was done right. It was done PERFECTLY. And then she gave me extra pickle spears! And the pickles here are my favorite pickles of all the sub shops! Ma’am - I wish I knew your name. I hope you get to read this and know it’s you that made the end of this journey a bit more bearable for me. I’m actually looking forward to eating tonight instead of dreading it, so thank you. Truly.”

“It was my first time here so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised and pleased. I ordered 2 tacos de al pastor ($2.99 each) and a quesadilla de asada($6.99); I spent a total of $15 (with tip). Honestly, when I first saw these prices I thought they seemed pretty high, but considering its a locally owned business and inflation is crazy right now, its understandable so I'm not mad about that(I'm also just broke). When I got the food, I was IN AWE by the sheer size of the quesadilla, it was thicc and loaded up with steak! It came with a side of fresh lettuce, tomato, cilantro, and some jalapenos that i asked for. The taco's were your standard mexican street tacos so they were good. The salsa would be my real only complaint, I wasnt a fan of the black salsa but the green salsa was good. The wait time wasn't terrible, like 15 minutes+, but considering there was only 2 people working it's understandable. Overall, really good food for an amazing price.”

Although they do have a few seats, this is definitely a takeout place; don't expect ambiance. The family running it were efficient and very friendly.

The food is terrific, everything perfectly cooked and seasoned! They even packaged the sweet and sour pork separate from the sauce, so it stayed crispy until we were ready to eat. Portions are generous and a good value for the price; three dishes and some egg rolls was enough for a small family with leftovers.
