We love to bring friends/family here, from out of town. Love that they provide a complimentary bread basket. This is a casual atmosphere with a great view of the water.“

We come to SK at least twice a month and we are never disappointed. Prices are fair too.Always our go to place. The shrimp and grits were probably the best I have had. Just the right amount of spices. Also the beef stroganoff was awesome too. “Newer to Jacksonville area. Hangar Bay Cafe was highly recommended by a coworker of mine who is a Navy veteran. I am also a Navy veteran and was happy to hear that the owner was as well. We ordered take out. Hangar Bay did not disappoint. We tried the chicken, macaroni and cheese, and Japanese Raman. Everything was amazing. I especially loved the macaroni and cheese. Would highly recommend to anyone. Go support a great local restaurant and Navy veteran. We will definitely be visiting on a regular basis.“

“Great coffee, great food, warm delicious biscuits. What a find! Visiting Jax for the weekend and stumbled with this local breakfast place. I highly recommend it. Sunday mornings ask for lots of patience cos service is slow but totally worth it.“

“We enjoyed the breakfast at Ida Claire. Cute vibe with all of the plates on the wall in the dining area and nice sized bar. I'm usually not a fan of biscuits as the base of my eggs benedict, but it was delicious with the fried green tomatoes. My husband really liked the biscuits and gravy... especially the bacon gravy and the grits were tasty too! We'll definitely come back to try other menu items.“

“Great coffee first of all! I ordered the Keto bowl which was full of mushrooms, tomatoes, avocado and bacon, topped with 2 eggs. Service was good; however, you order food from the counter. The cute part is when they notify you that the order is ready, they shout out the famous name you gave them at the beginning.“

“I had ordered a meal for pick up and was in a car accident on the way to pick it up. I called and let the staff know because I was not sure if I would be able to make my pick up time. I finally arrived an hour later and the cashier with the blonde hair gave me a fresh beverage and an extra cookie! Very nice staff!“

“This was my 2nd time ordering from here but this 2nd time was extra special because I had a rough day and was just leaving the pediatrician with my infant whom had a fever of 103.8. I called the store abs got Steve on the phone and he was so nice and helpful when I asked if he could bring my order to the door. “While visiting the Mayo for ten days, I had the privilege of eating at Bono's. After surgery, it was my go-to spot for lunch and/or supper! I tried everything in those 10 days, I can honestly say it was some of the best BBQ I've had in a long time. Even better, all of their sides were great! Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the many types of sauces they had to offer. My father liked it just as much as me, and we loved that our plates fed us for more than one meal. If your in the area looking for a place to eat, just go ahead and stop looking, eat here!“
