“This was our second time there and yet again we left feeling full and happy! The wait staff is attentive, the music was great and the food was amazing. The staff goes above and beyond making my toddler son feel welcomed and special each time he goes there. Can’t wait to go back and try more things on the menu and see familiar friendly faces :)”
“Dining at Cielo was an exquisite culinary journey marked by exceptional craftsmanship and unparalleled service. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted warmly. The ambiance was inviting, with soft lighting and tasteful decor setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The pianist Scott McDonald’s skill was truly remarkable, effortlessly weaving together classical masterpieces and contemporary tunes with finesse and passion. Each note seemed to dance through the room, captivating our senses and igniting our emotions. The menu, a testament to the chef's dedication to innovation and quality, offered a tantalizing array of options to suit every palate. From the delicate flavors of the calamari fritti appetizer to the indulgent richness of the main course which included the Pan Roasted Ora King Salmon and the Porcini and White Truffle Ravioli with added scallops, every bite was a symphony of taste! But what truly set Cielo apart was the impeccable service. Attentive without being intrusive, our server Mathew, anticipated our every need, offering knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring that our glasses were always full. The staff worked seamlessly together, creating a dining atmosphere that was both refined and relaxed. In every aspect, from the cuisine to the service, Cielo exceeded our expectations for my birthday dining choice. It's clear that this establishment is committed to excellence in every detail, and we left feeling not just satisfied, but truly pampered. We can't wait to return and experience the culinary delights and impeccable hospitality once again.”
“Love thIs cozy restaurant with great hospitality and fine French cuisine..good value wine list and interesting menu...call ahead for reservations during season..you will need a bit of bread or spoon to finish the sauces from your plate..”
“I came in just before the restaurant was closing with a large party of friends, (5 Adults and 11 Children). The restaurant was very accommodating and gave us three tables to share. From start to finish, we had amazing service, and the food was outstanding. Our server, Chris was a godsend with all of the kids and he even made them all special desserts at the end of the night so they didn’t feel left out when my friends and I ordered our desserts! Everyone had a blast! They were doing a karaoke night so all of the kids and our husbands were singing and dancing up a storm! We Picked the perfect spot on Sanibel to end our day! Absolutely delicious food, outstanding service, and an overall outstanding experience and great time!”
“Terrific food and atmosphere right in the marina. We came here by boat and arrived at 11 AM and people were already lined up for the 11:30 AM opening. We had a large group in the service was also excellent.”
“We waited about 25 minutes on a Saturday morning. They are newly open and the island is showing their support which is great! Our breakfast was good overall including the breakfast scramble, pancakes, and French toast. We were dissapointed with the quality of the bacon and the banana that we were served. The bacon was old and jerky like, the banana bruised badly on both sides.”
“In a simple coffee, I found one of the best flavors. The food doesn't make any big promises, but it delivers far beyond what you expect.Simply delicious. Don't forget to try the house snacks.”
“I was invited here by a friend who lives in the area. Don’t think I’ve ever noticed it before as it is very low profile. It is a true locals bar/hangout with basic beers and a few quick ets.”
“Anytime I can make it to Traders, I am there! Staff is always so friendly, food is delicious and it's just a fun atmosphere not to mention being able to support the local businesses post Hurricane Ian!”
“My wife and I went here in the first week of January 2024. We're from Fort Lauderdale and I'm working on Sanibel Island. We ordered the Shrimp White Pizza, the Chicken Wings, the Meatloaf, and the NE Clam Chowder to go. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We got chicken wings from two other places and didn't like either. The wings at Sanibel Grill were awesome.”
“My family and I visited Shima tonight for my birthday. It was a very special night. We have been to Shima before and it has always been great. Tonight was no exception. We had Chef Laysel and he was terrific. (Note: All the chefs are great). Nicole helped to make it even better, as she always does. Overall, there is simply no better place to eat on Sanibel.”
“Not sure what else is on the menu, but pizza here is great. Great traditional style pizza with good flavor. 5 star rating for two visits- good consistent pizza produced. Nice job. Would normally share pic of food prior to consuming, but was an afterthought here. So sorry, just partial pic of last tasty slice that was reheated at home. Good stuff. Like every place around holidays, and following hurricane, staffing limited, so service may not be at it's best with bit of wait time, but they still put out a great pizza.”
“My husband picked up a sandwich, pasta salad, and egg salad for us today for lunch. Everything was delicious & fresh! We will definitely be frequenting this place. Nothing like a good sandwich!”
“1st time at 400 Rabbits. I will definitely go back when we are here again. Had chicken fajitas and they were excellent. Wife had ancho chicken burrito bowl and she loved it. More than enough with the portions on your plate. Also had a margarita flight. Great idea.”
“The food in this restaurant is dynamite FULL of flavor absolutely DELICIOUS, the seared Ahi Tuna Appetizer is ridiculously delicious, my waiter Ray was very attentive and polite I’m definitely coming back for more ??”
