“Came here with a party of eight. We had the Seafood Chowder, Seafood Gumbo, oyster Rockefeller, for appetizers. Main course some had the Grouper others had the Scallops, and two had the Chicken Alfredo. The food was wonderful and our waiter, Scott S. was great and very helpful.“

“We had a beautiful view on the terrace, with a view of the bay. People were down below us on the beach at the north beats North Beach Social club, but I’m so glad we tried this place. The Korean rice bowl was excellent! there were mushrooms, kimchi, pickled cucumbers, with sesame seeds, and very tender Korean-style beef. Then there was a fried egg on top of a Korean style rice cake. All of it was absolutely delicious. My wife had the frittata, which is also excellent. So glad that we tried out this place! I would definitely come back. other people seem to be enjoying the burgers and pizzas, and I know they have sushi as well. The goat cheese, cheesecake with berries was also an excellent finish to the meal. The whiskey menu looked very good, but I have miles to go before I sleep.“

“The absolute best BBQ on the Emerald Coast. They have brisket, ribs, pork, chicken, sausage and turkey in a plate, sandwich, salad, with mac and cheese or on a loaded baked potato. The sides are greens, BBQ beans, potato salad, cole slaw or roasted vegetables. The price is very reasonable and the servings are generous. The staff is very friendly and courteous. When drive into the parking lot, you can smell the meat smoking!“

“My wife found Vue on 30A while looking for a place to celebrate her birthday dinner. We took another couple and had a wonderful experience. I had the risotto, scallops, and shrimp. She had a crabcake, lobster tail, and fried pear salad. Chef Isley Whyte came out to greet us. He discovered it was my wife's birthday and prepared her meal to be more presentable. It was all spectacular. When he came back to check on us, he encouraged us to give him notice next time, and while it was not on the menu, he would prepare oxtail for us. My wife couldn't wait, so we told him we would be back in 2 days. He left that evening to get the oxtail and begin marinating it.When we came back two nights late, 3 of our party had the oxtail. They said it was the best they ever had. I had the pork chop, and it was wonderful. I also started with the fried green tomato, which has to be tried to be believed. I have had many in my time, but never any that had cram meat on them.On our 4 day trip, we ate here twice and everything was perfect. We have eaten at plenty of fabulous restaurants around the world. This has to rank in the top 5.Thank you, Chef Whyte, for giving my wife a birthday to remember!“

“It was our first time at Mimmo’s. I had the vodka pasta and my husband had the meat lasagna. Both dishes were outstanding, as well as the bread. The only thing that really tainted our experience was the service. It took 5-7 minutes for any staff member to speak to us besides the hostess that sat us. One finally asked if we had been helped and proceeded to serve us. Towards the end of our meal (around 8:45, they close at 9), our waiter took off his apron, and the rest of the staff started closing up the place. This including sweeping and shutting off some of the lights. I’ve worked in the service industry and this was seen as rude and untoward. I’ve never worked in a restaurant that we were allowed to both take off our uniforms and start closing while customers were still present. Really sad because the food was incredible.“
