I’m so upset I can’t remember her name because she deserves credit for making me and my family comfortable and just made the experience much more pleasant. I know it started with a K. “Oh my goodness this is absolutely the best breakfast food my husband and I have ever eaten. He got a platter with a side of biscuits and gravy. The gravy is not a typical, American style gravy, it is unbelievable!!! I ordered the French Toast and the flavor is unlike anything you will ever try! I cannot put into words how delicious the food is!!“
“We are locals but this is our first time here. We walked up to the sky bar grabbed a table and immediately greeted by Chelsea as our waitress. She was AMAZING! But wait there’s more, she was not the only one that checked on us. 2 other bartenders (Jorge and Shelby) also checked on us for water, extra drinks, anything we needed. Definitely a team atmosphere. The live music, adult only, and couches over the water are an incredible vibe. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend even if you have a big group. The views of the harbor with heaters and fire pit make it a great place to come year round.“
“Best Italian food in the area. Make a reservation because this place is popular. It's nicely decorated and gives off that fine dining look but it's cramped and very noisy. Otherwise it's our newest Italian dining stop in Destin.“
“I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. I love the location right by waterside where I can enjoy watching the boats, tiki huts and seeing folks enjoy everything on offer. I experienced a warm welcome from my server Josie. She was very accommodating and served with a genuine smile and demeanor. I dined on the seafood gumbo and fresh mixed side salad with ranch dressing accompanied by an American Mule cocktail. Delicious! I recommend this eatery for a fabulous experience.“
“Well, since we've come here twice now,I thought I should share the word about Grand Vista Bar And Grill. First off the staff is excellent! One of the most attentive staffs I've seen. They work as a team. Anexample of this just this morning when we're having breakfast One of the other servers came by and picked up our plates. Not even his table. I love coming to a place like this because management understands everybody's working as a team to the end. Peggy had the French toast second time. She must've liked it. I had an omelette loaded up with all the goodies. There wasn't anything left on the plate. I forgot to order the onions and cheese in my hashbrowns but they were good. Overall will be back again. Although I have to admit we are somewhat of captured audience right now. We are sitting in Destin Harbor and with our refrigerator on the fritz.Being a holiday so that will be a slow repair. So will be exploring all the local restaurants.“
“New chef, new menu, and we love it!! So many good options to choose from compared to the old menu. The paella was the best we've had in town, full of protein and authentic flavor. It was so good that we came back the following weekend. The crispy calamari, crab cake, and dumplings were also very good. The wait is a little bit too long, but it’s worth it.“
“I ordered the blackened Red Snapper and it was pretty good. The sauce on The Penne Chicken pasta was just exquisite though!!!! We went 2 nights ago, and we are all going back again tonight to try and share more things! Everyone Said the Margherita Pizza was very flavorful. The fried chicken app had lots of flavor! The sauce was pleasant, battered perfectly fries, and tender meat inside. Survive was decent but we did show up late so maybe that's was why. Seemed like they needed another person in the kitchen cooking though. Either way, im going to eat here anytime im close on our future trips!“
“I ate here last night. They were obviously understaffed, but they did everything within their abilities to make stuff happen for a completely packed restaurant. It wasn't pretty, but it was commendable. Every patron could see what was going on, so I wanted to make sure any negative comment had a rebuttal. Good job staff. I applaud your effort.“
“Just had a wonderful experience at Bitterroot, will definitely be returning. The service was incredible, and the food was absolutely delicious-- everyone in my party loved their food, desserts included. Even the kids pizza was delicious. The cocktails were also divine. This is a wonderful place for Sunday brunch or date night. Very calming ambience.Parking: Large parking lot, plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu includes cheese pizza, chicken tenders or a burger. The french fries are delicious!“
