“We celebrated my wife's 70th last night. When we arrived the tablecloth was glowing with little bright multicolored stars and circles. Sean, our sever, was amazing, genuinely friendly, genuinely representing the best menu choices, just so tuned into what we might enjoy. The French onion soup was excellent and in some mystical way the bread has the occasional crunch even though it was submerged in the broth. The South African lobster tails were sweet and tender, and frankly better than the best possible New England lobster. The sliced filet with onion, mushrooms and "fig essence" was perfect. Dessert was on the house for the birthday girl and it too was excellent.“
“Just perfect. It's not often a restaurant can tick off all the boxes well. They did just that last night before the opera. Pleasant at walking in, greeted and seated very pleasantly. Service was at the perfect cadence never rushed and respectful of our opera start. Nor did anyone try to clear the table early, a practice I loathe.Meal was great and our waitress (Meredith) couldn't have been more perfect.I'll be back for sure.“
“It was my girlfriend 31st birthday, the night started a little sour as we had to wait over 10 mins after being seated for a waiter to greet us though they were not busy. They did apologize for the mix up and after that the night was great, from the food to the service to the atmosphere. She enjoyed her birthday and for that, thank you.“
“10 stars! My Fraternity hosted a 90th Birthday party attended by twenty-five brothers at the Lounge. The service was impeccable; the food was hot and perfect; the staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything went on without a hitch. I would give them "10" stars, if I could.“
“One of my favorite breakfast spots in Longboat Key is Harry’s Continental Kitchen. The servers are so friendly, and the ambiance is always inviting. It's a nice touch when you see the owner greeting guests. The food is amazing; whenever we visit Longboat Key, this place is our go-to for breakfast. Plus, they have a gluten-free option, which is a big plus.Dietary restrictions: “They offer gluten-free bread as an option for those with gluten allergies”.“
“Love this place. Great menu and food. Service is good and the atmosphere is really nice. A great place to take the family for a nice evening out. The billionaire burger and truffle fries are quite good and the Lobster Maki Roll is the best sushi I've ever had. A definite recommend when in Siesta Key!UPDATE: Came back 6 years later and it's still AWESOME! One of my favorite restaurant's, period! Had the Lobster Maki Roll again and truffle fries. We had 6 people in our group and everyone had great things to say. This is a must-go in Siesta Key!“
“They really know how to make a girl feel special! They nailed our beach picnic/proposal, it was everything a girl could want. Definitely would recommend for any occasion! And their photographer they partner with did such an amazing job on our photos, we also got them within a week of the proposal. Overall an incredible experience and would definitely recommend!!!“
“Absolutely wonderful customer service. Patrick, Esther and Kelly went above and beyond to take care of some lost and wayward out of towners. We even had a golf cart called for us to go to our destination afterwards, driven by Bridget who took the scenic route! This is the kind of customer service that was much needed after a hectic day. Above and beyond is an understatement.“
“The service and food was delicious! We came here for a bachelorette weekend, made an easy reservation on open table. We were seated immediately, ordered cocktails and calamari to start! The bread and oil that is complimentary is delicious. We ordered the salmon entrees, lobster linguini, and the clam linguini dish! They even threw in a special tiramisu for our bride and it was to die for!! The environment is cozy too! Our waiter was from Hungary and very attentive! One of the only restaurants on the island that takes reservations, something to think about if you have a big party!“
“We went in early December on a weeknight, we made a reservation, it turned out. It wasn’t really that busy, about half full perhaps. We were seated immediately at an intimate table near the window in the far room room. Very quaint dining room. Formal. Our waiter was very attentive. We got a bottle of wine. It was a small kitchen out in the dining room, where they would prepare Caesar salad and some flambé dishes. My wife’s cousin recommended this place, the duck was highly recommended, I had it, and it was absolutely delicious. After dinner, we went upstairs to the separate dessert room and got a great presentation on the desserts that they had that night. I had the Keylime pie. It was delicious. A little Baileys on the rocks has a nightcap.“
“Possibly our favorite Sarasota restaurant. Excellent food, good service, and a wine list that is not only serviceable but significantly under-priced. We go to Antoine’s 3 times a year or so, and every time we say that we should go more often. First visit was in 2015 or so.“
