Absolutely amazing!! Knowing that the meat produce is locally and ethically sourced means everything to me. I'm absolutely willing to pay more for this but I didn't even have to because the prices are NOT outrageous. Pricing is of average burger joints but the quality and consistency is well above. Knowing that grass fed cows and bison produce healthier meat and also contributes to happier animals (no cramped feed lots) is a huge plus. I have a lot of mixed emotions about paying $7+ on a malt milkshake. It was good, but it wasn't the most incredible thing I've had. I could drive to steak 'n shake for similar quality and a lesser price. I can appreciate the contribution to something local, but I feel slightly taken advantage of. Yeah I'll probably be back, it is very conveniently close.
While on vacation, my daughter and I decided to try this recommended burger joint. With the current conditions and virus, we had it delivered, so I’m not able to review the facility. Smacks has a great list of burgers to choose from. We ordered the BEC burger, kids cheeseburger, garlic fries, and a regular order of fries.
