“We were visiting town and were looking for something good. Oh did we find the jackpot!! The food here was absolutely delicious!! We decided to share our meals in order to get to try more. Two rice versions (yellow & dirty), yams, mac & cheese, catfish, oxtail, honey fried chicken, smoked cabbage were perfect!! Oh do not skip the sweet cornbread almost like a cornbread pound cake and another must is the banana pudding!! Every bite was a soulful bliss of love, flavor, & freshly made goodness!! “This restaurant scores a 10 out of 10 in my book!! My boyfriend and I went to experience the special called "Blind Date with Italian Food". This meal not only surpassed my expectations, but each bite was even more flavorful than the previous. We are definitely going to look into her cooking classes and this will be our new favorite date night location. “Went here for the first time with my family the other day. Although we spent $14 for only a latte and croissant, that seems to be the going rate these days for most specialty coffee. We appreciated how clean it was inside but also the cleanliness and professional appearance of the staff. Lately at other major chain coffee shops it seems you need blue hair, piercings everywhere, and lots of body art to be a welcomed employee there. At foxtail all 3 of the younger staff members were all very clean cut looking with nice hair and freshly pressed button down shirts, friendly and smiling, and able to answer questions and converse with customers. We also LOVE the glass coffee cups! Makes you feel like you’re at central perk or Lukes Diner. We will be going back here!“

“Me and my husband came in to get some cuban coffee; Cafe con Leche and I tried their strawberry Nutella crepe.....it was delicious. One of the best crepes I've had in a long time and it definitely satisfied my long standing craving to have a good crepe. I recommend this location because the young ladies are super nice and helpful. Definitely will love to visit again when we visit Tampa again.“

“This place is a hidden gem. I ordered five Cuban sandwiches and they did not disappoint. The sandwiches are huge, and two people can share a sandwich. I also tried the empanadas, and they were to die for. Go try their food for yourselves. You will be glad you did.“

“I take my standard poodle to PetSmart across the parking lot from this restaurant so therefore I decided to try it. I was not disappointed with the food, service or prices. I ordered eggs Benedict classic with potatoes with large OJ. Everything was to perfection and OJ was fresh with pulp as I so love. The waitress came right away as I sat to order, took my drink order and meal order straight away. The place was packed so I did not expect my food to come anytime soon to my surprise it came five minutes later ? everything hot, and OJ ice cold as I like. This will be my go to place when my poodle gets his hair cut every six weeks thank you First Watch. I took pics to post however it doesn't give me options to post ?AMEND: I went April 26th 2024, the food was dry and tasteless. I asked for toast in replacement of the for tortillas you get and they gave me one tiny piece of toast. I asked the waitress so 1 toast but tortillas 4. I won't be going back. The waitress said "we were told one piece of toast" one thing I hate is people trying to make money by thing to people“
“As a traveling food reviewer since 2020 I like to try the smaller places not franchised. This spot while a little tucked away is definitely the vibe you're looking for if you want good food and guest service without the tack of a franchise and you don't have to break your wallet. I had the chicken quesadilla with a special custom order to where I had all the ingredients of the quesadilla make inside *yes sour cream and guac included* and it was absolutely fantastic. Cooks Dorothy and Denise really have a passion for what they do as does the rest of the staff and the owner Elaine is a great personality and runs a tight well functioning establishment. Definitely worth trying“
“You can't go wrong with First Watch...this location is no exception. I had my favs: kale tonic and morning meditation with the delicious double crunch tacos(ordered a second round), prime rib hash(good but not for everyone; I would prefer a different protein), and cinnamon chip pancake(cooked just right, good amount of flavor). The cup of fruit seasoned with Tajin was an odd pairing but really tasty. Service was prompt and welcoming. Kudos on the seasonal creations.“
