“We found this little restaurant today and gave it try for breakfast. AMAZING …The service ,the food , and location is perfect. One pancake was as big as a full size plate and so much flavor, there potatoes have lots of flavor un like most places there blah .You must try this little hidden gem. This is definitely our new sat breakfast stop.Thank you and see you next time .“
“Two of us had fesh halibut flown in from Alaska. It had a tasty exterior but it was a thin piece whick was overcooked and very dry. We would have told our waitress, but she never came back to our table after the initial inquiry before we had even touched our food. We did say something when she finally returned to see if we wanted dessert. The spaghetti squash side was excellent as was the mushroom soup.“
“5 Stars all the way around. This is a fantastic location for a great lunch with friends. The atmosphere is very quaint, charming, relaxing, comfortable...I could go on. I am so glad a mutual friend recommended it to us.Our server explained that everything is made from fresh from scratch and that the chef has been with them for over 20 years.I started with a nice craft beer and a bowl of the Irish Whiskey Onion soup. The soup was very good although I used my knife to cut through some of the cheese and fried onions. My bride ordered a sangria and a mushroom burger. The savory chicken sandwich with fries was ordered by two of us and the Philly sandwich with fries was ordered as well. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we had no room for dessert. While our meal for two cost over $80, it is a bit on the pricey side if you decide to have 2 beers, a sangria, soup and 2 sandwiches. But it was worth it!This is a great place to dine. We dined on the main floor but you should check out the bar and lounge upstairs as well. Or outside. Just loved The Goblin!“
“Spent the morning here drinking coffee and chatting with the family that owns the cafe. They own a coffee farm in Guatemala from which they import beans, roast locally, and serve here. Excellent coffee! Nice vibe. Lovely people. Definitely worth a visit. David and “
“So...this was my first time here...and let me tell you'll...it was awesome! Debbie took care of all us! Her service was top notch! The food also was amazing...I had the chicken tenders with fries, mac and cheese and hot corn with butter...yes...you hear that right...3 sides! My other friends had salads...one with crab...and the other with grilled chicken...and they also said it was fantastic...and i believe them because their plates were empty! ?? So great experience overall! Thanks Debbie for your service!“
“My wife & I decided to try Mary's on our Anniversary because of the recommendation of friends. We went on Friday because my wife loves Prime Rib & I happen to love fish. Needless to say we were extremely satisfied with our meals & the service we received.“
“Title: A Pleasant and Attentive Dining ExperienceI recently had the pleasure of dining at Lake Eustis Waterfront Grille and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly pleasant and attentive, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout the evening. One of the standout moments was when our server Emily took the time to give us their opinion on an appetizer. Their recommendation turned out to be an absolute delight! I think it was called Ruben Eggrolls and We were blown away by the amazing flavors and presentation of the dish. It was clear that the server had an in-depth knowledge of the menu and a genuine passion for the food they were serving. Not only did Emily provide excellent recommendations, but they also ensured that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. They were attentive to our needs, promptly refilling our drinks and checking in on us without ever feeling intrusive. Their professionalism and warmth added an extra layer of comfort to our evening.Thank you Emily at Lake Eustis Waterfront Grille for an unforgettable evening“
“A great place to eat outside in Mount Dora, Fl. If you like deviled eggs you will ABSOLUTELY love the Devilish Eggs as an appetizer. The goat cheese they put on the Mt. Dora Burger is amazing!! The salad dressing is homemade and is wonderful. Haven't had anything bad there - it's a great restaurant!!“
“Had lunch with a friend as it was here suggestion and it was not a bad experience. The hostess sat us right away and our server was nice, attentive, happy to answer any questions and checked on us.We ordered the half rack special for the day which included and extra meat, Texas toast 2 sides (corn salad and baked sweet potato) and the BBQ chicken which came with 2 sides (baked sweet potato and mac and cheese) and Texas toast.Everything was tasty and it kicked the BBQ craving. We will keep it on pur rotation list.“
“This hole in the hall needs so much more attention and love ! We came in during the lunch special and got so much for what we paid ! With my meal I got the chicken Hibachi which came with a salad, veggies and noodles all for 8.99!!! Then my partner got the chicken and steak hibachi with the same except for fried rice for I believe 12.99!! Our proportions were so perfect and incredibly filling ! Our server was such a sweetheart ! This place is phenomenal“
“Great food, even though we were not many of their obviously many regulars, we were treated as special by Summer)? And treated to a special birthday celebration! I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our time there. What a wonderful local place !“
“First visit to the new location. Staff was very friendly and professional. They appear to have worked out the kinks of opening a new establishment. Food was what I called upscale takeout. You order at the counter and then take a number to your seat.Food came quickly and fresh and hot. The custard expresso toffee was delicious.I would definitely recommend this location to all.“
“So I went here on my birthday today and had all you can drink mimosas and the lobster bisc was amazing! The whole atmosphere was phenomenal and I would definitely go there again!! The whole staff was amazing and the manager was totally up to par ? would definitely go and look forward to the experience again!!! “
“The best BBQ in town! The pulled pork is tender and juicy. The brisket is awesome. And the sides (Gouda mac & cheese, Brussel sprouts w/bacon, sweet rolls) are so yummy. Oh yeah, and get a slice of cake!! Service is super friendly and attentive…we love that it’s a family business. PDB hits it out of the park. 5⭐️“
“I work nights, so when I get off work at 7:00am, I want dinner. At this cafe, I can get lunch or dinner even during breakfast hours. I usually get the open faced roast beef for breakfast. You can also get a cheeseburger or anything else on the menu, regardless of the time of day. They are best known for their breakfasts. My church parishioners all love the breakfasts.Great food and staff. It’s a small town cafe, great food, like mom used to make. Busy on Sunday’s after church.I’ve also ordered their food to go. The food portion sizes are large.“
“Started going to this location recently. I bring my handicap mother who has oxygen and a scooter. It's absolutely a pleasant experience everytime. They're service is fast and caring. The bathroom is always clean. The food is hot and good everytime!“
“The food was great, my husband loved the prime rib. The waitresswas very friendly to regulars but barely made eye conatact with us, all business. She offered my husband au jus with his meal but he never received it. The host was so so awesome!“
“Hurricane Apopka is an oasis for sure.Food was great, staff friendly and attenitive.Perfect bar and grill for small groups of 1-6 people.Great spot to grab a couple beers and a plate in the week Or a meet up oasis to gather your gal or guy crew before heading out to that weekend nightspot.Family friendly during the weekdays.“
“I love divey kind of bars. I love to see a band, play pool and friendly bartenders are a must. I stopped into this bar prior to going to emerald cut Park and although I wasn't able to see a band, they had a great stage in the back outside that looked like it would be just an incredible place to see a show. And unfortunately the day I was leaving to come back home to New York they had a classic rock/ Southern rock band. Wish I could have stayed an extra day. So next time I go to Florida that's a for sure place. I'm going to stop at and spend a day or two“
“I've been to this location a few times for myself and my son, and numerous times picking up orders for uber. Every single time I've been in here, they have gotten the orders exactly correct, it has been spotlessly clean, and the customer service has been awesome! Rarely do I enjoy coming to a fast food restaurant, but this one is great. Also, their ice cream, I don't know what it is lol, but it is absolutely amazing!Kid-friendliness: They have great options for children, and you really do get a lot for the money when it comes to their kids meals. If you get an entree, aside, A drink, as well as a scoop of the best ice cream around!“
“Just stopped in for a quick bite after an antique show in Mt.Dora. The entire staff was very welcoming, any questions we had were quickly answered. The food was 10/10. I ordered the bbq pork chop platter with mac and collards and ohmygosh! So yum! Falls apart in your mouth. Try out some other sauces too! The curry chicken was seasoned to perfection. Will be back!!!“
“When it comes to the food, if you've been to one Waffle House you've been to them all. What makes the major difference for me is the staff. The staff at the location is fantastic. They are friendly, courteous, and great with my kids. You really feel welcome no matter the time of day. This is a great Waffle House.“
“This morning our family went to IHOP in Apopka FL. and our waitress Candice was awesome. The best waitress we have ever had there. Kind, attentive, smiling, and arranged a happy birthday song w.ice cream for my father in law. He loved it, we were all thankful. We tipped her very well, she deserved it.“
“My husband & I enjoyed dinner last night at Beef’s in Mt Dora. Our waiter was Kaden, he’s such a hard working young man! Not only was his service on point, his attitude was awesome making our dining experience outstanding! Highly recommended- not only the food but next time you go, ask for Kaden! Way to go Management, you have a rock solid team!“
“The service was top notch. The staff was kind and professional. So many items on the menu sound amazing. We had The Queen Brie and The Mondial - we both loved the Queen Brie just because we liked the flavor profile better but both were delicious. Would def come “
“The waitress was very friendly and served my daughter and her friend while watching over them without being asked or required only because they were two young lady's with their little brother sitting in her booth I tipped her good and recommend this waffle “
“My husband and I both had the Big Country Burger, we were in there mid afternoon *after 1 pm* and it was Fantastic! had to take 1/2 of it home it was Huge. The Tots and Fries were also so fresh and crispy! Our waitress Ally was wonderful. We'll be back.“
“The food was excellent. Our server wasn’t that great . The napkins she gave us fell on the floor as she walked away since she didn’t properly place them on the table. She didn’t bother to offer us water. The two other waitresses who took our dishes away were nice.“
“Our waitress Korina F was amazing to start. We ordered the Nachos and I've never tasted anything better. The rest of the food and drinks were great too, but those nachos!!! WOW! The outside atmosphere was so awesome. Korina came our often and made sure we were okay. I'll definitely be back!“
“well worth the little drive. you have to go through the guardhouse for Zellwood Station. The food was fantastic! Reese was the bar tender (Healthy pour) and our server. I wasn't sure what to have but the chef Keith advised me to try the Philly cheesesteak wrap. YUM. Try this little gem, you won't be disappointed. Friday nights the do things like live singers or karaoke ?Kid-friendliness: They don't beat the kids!Parking: They have a drop off portico.Wheelchair accessibility: larger spaces for accessibility“
“Chani & the manager Vanita gave us superb service. Such pleasant ladies. Left with a full belly & a smile. Up until 2 years ago we had been coming here regularly for decades but time & time again we had to wait so long for our meal it caused us to be late for whatever we had planned afterwards. We never experienced this wait time at other Perkins either. The excuse given was they only had 1 chef. So we stopped coming. Finally, we decided to give this Apopka Perkins another chance and we we're pleasantly surprised with quality of food & service.“
“We celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary with a delicious lunch on the covered outdoor patio on the lake! Great service. Enjoyable setting. I highly recommend the Black & Blue Salad! From the parking lot we walked the boardwalk on the lake to the restaurant and back again. Saw birds and turtles up close along the way. Loved our experience!!Parking: The restaurant is on a busy street and we found it challenging to navigate the traffic to reach the parking lot, however there is plenty of parking once you get there!“
“We came here for lunch and left happy. Our server was super sweet and had a smile the entire time. (I Didn't catch her name but she had reddish hair?) Her positive attitude really made our day. Everything came out fresh, hot and quick. The only complaint I have is that the other server who was working seemed a bit less attentive and her customers were clearly unhappy and vocal making our meal a bit less enjoyable.“
“Megan at Froggers is amazing! We eat here a few times a week for lunch. We are greeted with a smile every time! Feels nice to walk in have a seat and she just puts in our usual order. Can’t say enough good things about her hospitality when we are there. The GM is amazing as well he is always making sure things are running smoothly so we as guest are able to enjoy ourselves.“
“My husband and I stopped for lunch on Wednesday 3/27. Not impressive with the attitude of the hostess, but we stayed anyway. Our server, Donna, was so busy but always had patience and time for and with us. You have a real gem there with a great sense of humor! We will be back! “
“I went a few times to this location with a writing group. Our server was awesome, I think his name was Brett? He was always on top of everything. Having never been to a Denny’s before, I was surprised by how edible everything was. I especially enjoyed the breakfast burger. Unfortunately, the area we met in consistently smelled lightly of urine, and there weren’t very many outlets to go around for chargers. That said, it’s a great place if you need to meet a lot of people late at night in a public place.“
“Decided to go here spontaneously with my friend on a Saturday night. The place was rather empty for a Saturday but frankly that came as a nice surprise. This seems to me like an underrated spot featuring billiard tables and good food. I can also appreciate being able to hear myself think at the bar.Our server was attentive and did a good job. I had a steak salad and chicken nachos. Although the steak was not tender it’s bar food and it hits the spot.My chief complaint was really that they didn’t have Guinness on tap and the time it took the food to come out. Otherwise if you’re in the area this seems like a great lowkey spot to enjoy your Saturday evening with friends.“
“I had an order made for delivery. Unfortunately, the Dasher never made the delivery (I actually think the Dasher stole the order). So, I called up the location and they offered to make my order again. The manager (I think) provided the order after I arrived and was completely understanding about the whole situation. The food was great! And I definitely recommend this Applebee's location.“
“Let me start with saying I'm a bit particular. I ordered a 3 piece tender meal, sauce on the side, fries crispy. Morgan took our order with a smile, provided some ketchup and a receipt, all with a smile. My meal came out with sauce on the side and fries crispy! NAILED IT!!! Also, while we were eating Morgan never stopped. She cleaned chairs from legs to rails and counters and the service area. This is just some really good chicken with really good people in a clean environment.“
“Great place. During the week the restaurant is really creative with events for entertainment. Bingo, poker, and trivia are all a good time. Employees are very friendly. Been multiple times and each time been great. Shout out to DJ for trivia- we hadn’t been before and he was very friendly and made you feel like you were a regular.“
“Located in a strip mall you might miss this from the street. But it is worth crossing the railroad tracks to eat here. I had the meatloaf special with 2 sides, in my case fried okra and macaroni and cheese, and it was excellent. Reasonable price for a good sized serving.“
“Came for lunch with my son, and wow what a surprise! Expecting bar food but boy I was wrong. First we started with loaded nachos with chicken added. Could have used more cheese but all around pretty good! For main I had a blue cheese burger with an over easy egg on top with bacon. My son had a regular burger with bacon and cheese. Both served with burger shack style fries. I also ordered a double shot of rum for all you alcohol drinkers. All around cool little golf course restaurant with a nice view“
“I’ve been here twice now and both experiences were good. They are knowledgeable about gluten free so that’s cool. It is a shared fryer but they know what to swap and omit. They also have options for a burger for GF. They have a decent happy hour but the draft beer has been broken for the last two times (a month and a half or so). The food HH is great though!! I would def go back and I recommend it. It is cool bc it has a bar and a regular restaurant area so people who wanna have either atmosphere can do that. Check it out. I’ll be back.Vegetarian options: It’s mainly salada or some appetizerDietary restrictions: They’re good with GF. Shared fryer thoughKid-friendliness: Good separate restaurant from the bar area“
“My family did a girls trip out here to eat and shop. I had never been here before and I was not disappointed! Starting with the drive up everything outside is adorable and was decorated for fall and Christmas. There was lots of parking available and it was busy but not overcrowded on a Saturday morning. To order here you grab a menu and fill it out at your table where they have pencils set out for you. Write your table number on top and then mark what items you want to eat and then bring it up to a cashier. The service was quick and everyone was so friendly. They have a great deal for $10.99 and it comes with a sandwich, a soup, salad and dessert. Lunches are served in the cutest little basket to your table and there is quite a variety to choose from. I had the beef sandwich that was made with a horsey sauce and French dressing and it was so so good! The tomato soup was delicious and the pasta salad was yummy too. I loved the carrot cake as it was moist and had a great flavor. It was the perfect amount of food and I loved being able to taste so much of the menu. Shopping is available in the restaurant but also at the other 3-4 stores on property. The only downfall of this place is I was hoping for some local made Christmas decor.“
