Kat always greets us with a smile, remembers our usual orders, and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine kindness make every visit feel like we’re dining with a friend. Even when the restaurant is busy, she never misses a beat and still gives us amazing service.

“A group of us went to Sonnys on the Fourth of July for lunch. The ribs were very good some said the best they’ve ever had. I had the big meal deal with the beef sandwich and the beef was very tender. Service was great. Only thing we miss is the salad bar🥲”

This place offered an elevated dining experience. It wasn’t your typical local food joint. We only had appetizers and drinks, but that was enough to know it was exactly what our foodie hearts were craving.
We tried two craft cocktails—the Double Vision and the Lavender Haze. Whoever came up with the idea of mixing carrot, ginger, whiskey, and fennel was pure genius. It was such an exciting drink, perfectly made—we could’ve easily had a few more. The lavender drink was equally refreshing and intoxicating.
Small menu - which we love. We like when restaurants perfect everything, instead of a large menu where everything is mediocre.
We enjoyed the fish and sausage egg roll.
I’m a Minorcan chowder girl, and I could’ve easily swum in a bathtub of that tasty conch soup. It was that good.
The atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful, setting the perfect vibe for an intimate experience. Everything about the vibe was just right.”

“This is the best lobster roll I have ever had in my life and it’s worth every penny. The mouth watering lobster on the perfectly light toasted roll just fabulous. Great outside area to sit and cool upstairs also if you want to be inside . I was there a few Saturdays back in the day and saw such a cool Reggae band that even boosted the atmosphere more . Great service. The manager Caleb was very accommodating to myself and my family.”

“We were in St Augustine for DH’s birthday and stopped by for the best cup of coffee we’ve had in a long time!! So we decided to go again on early Sunday hoping they’d be open otw home! And they were!! Michael bright a complimentary bagel 🥯 LOADED with cream cheese and jalapeños. A minute later the largest, piping hot, DELICIOUS egg , cheese and bacon bagels arrived with our specialty coffees! Sloan and Michael, the owners, take care of their customers and produce an excellent product!!! Sweetwater will our first stop next time we visit!”

This amazing 70's music was playing inside and I was dancing waiting for my take out. It was so cool inside! They asked for my name and I told them. Little did I know when I came back in a few days later where we ate inside that time, that the man who waited on me 2 days before would remember me and call me by name! Holy cow! That was so cool! He said it was because I was dancing. I'm a dancer with 5 trophies so yeah, I was dancing to that good music but to remember me like that! If you love grilled Mac and Cheese or just grilled cheese in general and you love tomato soup, you have to eat here! I promise you will not be disappointed at all! We’ve visited St. Augustine many times, but this was our first time discovering this incredible restaurant, and what a find! We were celebrating our 21st anniversary and stumbled upon The Collage online. Thinking it would be quiet on a Wednesday night, we didn’t make a reservation. Despite being fully booked, Megan, the restaurant manager, went out of her way to accommodate us, which we truly appreciated. Our server, Franco, was warm, attentive, and very knowledgeable. The food was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. We began with the beef carpaccio and watermelon salad; both beautifully prepared. For our main course, we each had the 8oz filet topped with gorgonzola sauce, and every bite was mouthwatering. Between courses, we were treated to a refreshing raspberry sorbet to cleanse our palates—a lovely touch. For dessert, we shared a warm pound cake with raspberry coulis and fresh whipped cream, paired with perfectly made espressos. The ambiance was quaint, cozy, and romantic,ideal for a special occasion like ours. We especially loved that the menu changes regularly, offering something new to look forward to each time. “I have eaten at Piesano's twice, and each time it was awesome! The food is absolutely wonderful - today, my party and I enjoyed a cheese calzone, shrimp scampi, and gorgonzola salad with shrimp. All were excellent. And the service and ambiance are exceptional. It is very quiet and comfortable, and the wait staff are patient and kind and don't mind if you take your time. Not many restaurants are quiet and relaxing these days. The prices are fair, as well, especially considering the high quality of the dishes. Highly recommended!”

“I have eaten at the restraunt a couple times inside and it has been awesome everytime so I do recommend eating there. Service has always been awesome, but Do not order to go. The food quality to go is nowhere close to when eat eat there and that's disappointing. I ordered hibatchi chicken and shrimp to go and pretty good chicken and shrimp floating in sauce and a bunch of onions and carrots floating in watery sauce. Will never order to go again. Especially when my whole order was over 75 dollars.”

“I called Denny's on Ponce De Leon in Historic St. Augustine, from out of state, to see if I could purchase a gift card for a guest who is staying at the Days Inn next door. Unfortunately they could not take a credit card over the phone. However after explaining to Brooke my situation, she was so gracious to offer my guest a free breakfast. I will forever be greatful to her and her genuine thoughtfulness and hospitality. I sure hope I can visit St. Augustine soon to personally meet with this great lady!”

I made a post on 904Eats on facebook and asked for a place between Jax and Aug on HWY 1. I got The Spot Cafe. I ordered the southern comfort, biscuits, and gravy with chicken between them. Came with eggs and home-style potatoes. It was so good. When I start my biscuits and gravy blog (summer 2025). I will be sure to add this place. The biscuits were fluffy and most. “What a gem St Augustine has in its’ midst! We recently visited the fine establishment after reading previous reviews and was overwhelmed by the kindness and expertise of the owner! We were novices and had never prepared blue crab before. Instead of being annoyed at our lack of knowledge, he explained at great length and in easy to understand detail, how to prepare his delicious crab in several different ways. “The grand opening of the Texas Roadhouse in St. Augustine was a bustling affair, with diners pouring in non-stop. The managers and staff were well-prepared and eager to serve. As I arrived, I noticed the addition of a To Go walk-up window, a fantastic concept that I'll surely use in the future. Our dining experience was delightful, thanks to our server Taylor. She was incredibly pleasant and knowledgeable, making our time there enjoyable. Despite my son running late, she remained patient as I held the table for an extended period. While waiting, I couldn't help but notice Nay, one of the servers, who stood out from the rest. She was not only efficient and diligent but also showed compassion and care. I watched in awe as she communicated with an elderly couple using sign language, engaging them in full conversations. The couple looked so happy and appreciative of Nay's genuine personality, and I was equally impressed. I made sure to inform Nay's manager, Chase, of my observations. The staff's genuine desire to make the dining experience enjoyable is what will bring me back in the near future.”

“My wife and I came here for our 31st anniversary. A highly rated restaurant. My meal, steak bowl, was very tasty. The steak was tuff. Over cooked I think. My wife had a fish meal. I forget which. She was very disappointed in the taste and quality of her meal. I have NEVER see my wife complain about a meal before. When our waitress (she was great!) Asked how the meal was my wife told her. Later a woman, not a lady, came to our table concerning our dissatisfaction. She seemed to be insulted and left in a huff. Normally a dissatisfied customer is given a discount or a free dessert. Something. Nothing was offered. What should have been an enjoyable dining experience for Saint Augustine residents celebrating their anniversary was left lacking. 🤢”

“A group of us went to Sonnys on the Fourth of July for lunch. The ribs were very good some said the best they’ve ever had. I had the big meal deal with the beef sandwich and the beef was very tender. Service was great. Only thing we miss is the salad bar🥲”

“Our favorite spot to end the day when visiting St. Augustine! The drinks are great and fairly priced. When you go, make sure to ask to sit in Will’s area. Will has always been our server when there over the past couple of years and actually remembered us a year later after our 1st week there. Maybe we spent a little too many evenings here… Nah!”

“I was on vacation when I saw this restaurant in St. Augustine FL. I saw the menu and said I have to go in and get something! I am a grilled cheese connoisseur and I make some good ones myself but oh my gosh, the grilled Mac and Cheese I had with I can't remember what kind of meat was AMAZING! So was the tomato soup! This amazing 70's music was playing inside and I was dancing waiting for my take out. It was so cool inside! They asked for my name and I told them. Little did I know when I came back in a few days later where we ate inside that time, that the man who waited on me 2 days before would remember me and call me by name! Holy cow! That was so cool! He said it was because I was dancing. I'm a dancer with 5 trophies so yeah, I was dancing to that good music but to remember me like that! If you love grilled Mac and Cheese or just grilled cheese in general and you love tomato soup, you have to eat here! I promise you will not be disappointed at all! Next time I want some Poutine and another sandwich! YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“We tried Mojo BBQ for the first time last Friday night during Nights of Lights. We walked right in and sat at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and attentive. Drinks were good and food came out pretty fast and was delicious! Will definitely go back during our next St. Augustine visit.”

“Wow! Came here because Calico Cactus supports the community (teacher appreciation love), but will return often because it was a great experience! Amanda, Robin and Isabel treated us like we were family! It's so clean and lovely inside! The food was out of this world! I'm not a big fan of breakfast tacos but now I can get enough! The way the homemade tortilla wraps softly around the crispy potato and scrambled egg made it the perfect handheld! The cheeses and sauces tied it together with great flavor and right amount of kick. The iced coffee cooled me down on a hot summer day-such a perfect brunch! Can't wait to bring friends!”

“From the drinks to dessert everything was perfect. Once again, our dinner was fabulous! Steve had the filet, was outstanding. I had the tuna tartare stack, amazing! We shared the chocolate molten cake which was delicious, can’t find the appropriate word to describe because it was the BEST we have ever had. This is our favorite restaurant.”
