“I have never written a review for a place, but man, I went here for my second time last night after not being able to quit thinking about how good it was the first and I was blown away even more. It's a bit pricey but totally fair for what you pay for. I only wish it was cheaper so I could come here all the time. Our server was awesome, very knowledgeable and friendly! My favorite part is the sauce bar because I just put a few random things together and it's delicious. Volcano has to be one of my favorite restaurants in town, if not my favorite, from someone who has grown up here.“
“I was in there right before 12 and wasn’t having the best of days when Trevor handed me my food and noticed my days wasn’t the best. He smiled and asked if he could help carry anything to my car. He told me to have a great day and was very professional and overly welcoming which is nice to see in these days. Trevor made me smile and I absolutely had a better day.“
“Generally one can get in and out of here for a quick lunch. We ordered, ate and exited in 30 minutes. We ordered a 6 shooter, which was tasty. I didn't care for the pickles, found them a bit too sour, but the jalapeños gave a nice kick. The inside was comfortable and not noisy, so conversation was easy. Silly, maybe, but my favorite was the tootsie roll treats!“
“I’m new to the area so when I asked a friend where good jerk chicken is they Told me to try this place out and I’m so happy I did. It is so good I Haven’t had decent jerk chicken in a long time I highly suggest this place the portions are Great, and the flavor is amazing You can get any meat with two sides for only eight bucks. The mac & cheese is amazing and the collard greens are great. I’m definitely coming back to this place.“
“I was starving and exhausted after biking about halfway across town for work when I found this place. Did not expect to find the best BBQ in town. I had BBQ chicken and fries with a side of their regular BBQ sauce and I will absolutely be coming back to try more of their menu. The way the chicken fell off the bone almost brought a tear to my eye ?as a side note I'd like to say it still hit just as good when I reheated my leftovers later that evening.“

“HOLY COW!!! For those of you that desperately miss the old school REAL BBQ you used to find on the roadside ... Suffer no more! It is RIGHT HERE! It is all made right here. All cooked right here. I had a $5 rib meal, with beans and 'tater salad. It was phenomenal! I wished I had gotten the $10 dollar meal with DOUBLE ribs! They were juicy, tender, and smoked to Oak-heaven perfection! There's no tables, so I made due on my tailgate in the cold and it was worth every bite! EAT HERE!“
“I have been a loyal customer if Big D's Barbecue for about ,five years now. I have been constantly impressed with the quantity and quality of the food and service. When I was working and in charge of selecting companies to do catering for events, they were always my go-to company. His experience in cooking not only barbecue, but any kind of food is exceptional. “First time trying Mr Kings bbq tonight and it was fantastic. I got the #1 bundle and it was so much food! For $42 we got 1.5 racks of ribs, 6 smoked chicken quarters, 6 smoked sausages, 4 large sides (potato salad, baked beans, Mac n cheese x 2) and bread. Best bbq I’ve had in a long time. Don’t forget to ask for extra bbq sauce because it’s delicious! Check hours on his Facebook page before you go but looks like he’s usually open Thurs-Sat 12-7.“

“The Wilbury is about a much of a dive bar as humanly possible, and I mean that in the best way possible! They have a good selection of draft beer, various bar games, and are cooking seriously good wings out of an Airstream trailer parked behind the business. I got the Buffalo Flash Fried Smoked Wings with Alabama White Sauce. The Wilbury claims to make the best wings in Tallahassee. Based on my experience, they very well might. The wings were smoky and tangy and the Alabama White Sauce was fantastic with them. I'll definitely be back the next time i'm in town for a game.“
“My first visit was for dinner. We sat at the bar and asked the bartender, "what's good on the menu" to which he replied "I think everything is good". As it turns out, Summer is not one person, but the last name of the family that own the restaurant (including the "bartender"). We ordered ribs and pulled pork (they were out of brisket, which is often the case if you don't get there early!) and let me tell you, the "bartender" was right. The ribs were huge, juicy and falling off the bone. The pulled pork was amazing. Best fried okra I've ever had. The portions were enough to share or second meal. We returned several times to try and score some brisket and HOLY COW its no wonder its always sold out. Its slap yo mama good. Summers Smokehouse may be a little out of the way, but the food is out of this world. I don't write reviews. Ever. But this bbq compelled me to!“
