“We gave our name and were told, “30 minutes.” After one hour checked and were told, “7 ahead of you.” After one hour and 15 minutes were told, “2 ahead of you.” After watching 4 go ahead of us checked again. Manager said, “ thousands are checking in every day. We’re doing what we can.” After one hour and 45 minutes, and harassment from us, we were finally seated. Very poor experience.”

“Wolfgang Puck Brownwood was excellent. We have been many times and the food is consistently very good! We have had the grouper, halibut and pasta amongst many other dishes. Last night we had the special Mac n cheese which was amazing! We also had Alejandro for a waiter last night and he was by far the best server we have ever had!! The way he described the food made you want to try something you've never had. Also, his personality was amazing!! He enhanced the entire dining experience. definitely try to get Alejandro as your server if you go there!!”

“This restaurant was great at one point in time both the food and service. The last two months or so all of the decent wait staff is no longer there and the enviroment has changed. Now the wait staff is not friendly with exception of the the bar tenders and host staff, there is white trash present and the service just sucks, I'm quite surprised that the owners of Northern origin would allow this. I just walked out there today because after being seating for nearly 20 minutes I was not even given drinks at this point. frustrating to see this happen to what was once a great friendly environment now turned upside down.”

“We came in your store yesterday, 4 adults, and ordered ice cream ( $37.00 plus tip). We then went and sat outside at one of your tables. A waitress approached and said, if we get a “dine in” customer, you’ll need to leave. Seems like a group who just spent almost $40 on ice cream would be considered customers as well??? Needless to say it was very off putting to have that said to our group. But the Ice Cream was very good.”

“We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.”

“Quaint little spot in Colony Plaza. Went for lunch. The fried gyoza was delicious and presented nicely. The Red Dragon roll was good, a little hard to eat since it was so big, but hard to complain with so much food. Service was just ok. Nice Happy Hour specials on wine and beer. We will go back and give them another try.”

She was so sweet, and helpful and kept checking on us and filling up my husband's coffee. We weren't expecting this because of how crowded it was but Erika handled everything with ease. She is the best server we have ever had since moving here. You are lucky to have such a caring employee.”

“My hubby and I have been to many dining places in The Villages. We have had a few disappointments in some of the establishments but never at City Fire… it’s our “ to go to place” if we don’t know where to go when we visit The Villages. We did have one negative experience with our server but the manager Julie (Andrews, as she says to remember her), took over and turned our negative experience to a positive experience very promptly. The menu is very broad and the food is very tasty, very fresh ingredients which is definitely difficult to get many times.”

“2024 UPDATE: Came by again for lunch. Staff was still super nice, fast, and food was still decent. I'm still not a super fan of the sauce, but it's good, and the pizza is a little thin for my taste. All in all, a really good little stop and prices were realistic.

2020: Food was pretty good, and the servers were really nice. The pizza sauce is not my favorite but not bad. Entrees were really good, though, and the place seemed clean.”

I say this to let you know that I am a connoisseur of ice cream!
Haagen-Dazs makes some interesting flavors. I tried something new, to me, anyway, and I now have a favorite flavor of Haagen-Dazs!
The only thing is, it was just sooo good that I can't remember the name of the stuff! It was something with caramel and brownies and mmm, I'm getting hungry again!
Anyway, if you find yourself there, ask for something that you've never tried before... I'll bet you will find your own new favorite flavors.

“First time we went in to eat a pizza with our favorite topping caramelized onion and roasted red pepper 🌶️ it was absolutely amazing 💯 the next two times we went in and ordered it to go with the same toppings, but they do not load up on the toppings that you purchase if you’re taking it out and the crust is softer, I guess it depends on who is making them that day. Love the service though and decor 👍 just some advice when somebody orders toppings be a little bit more generous and make sure each piece of pizza has them on!”

“It's been 5 years since I had American Chinese food! Hit the spot-ish. Shrimp egg rolls were delicious.
The shrimp egg foo young was bland. [I'm used to no gravy] but this was 0 flavor on the patty itself. Added soy sauce and it was good.
Beef and broccoli and king pao chicken were good! Huge portions for even the small option.”
