“Very good and wide selection of Dominican/Hispanic cuisine. The seating is nice and the service is easy and made to order. I always go for the Fried Pork with Tostones and Salad. Portions are very generous and very delicious. Would recommend!Very good selection of Bori/Dominican food. There are good spaces to sit and eat. The area is very pleasant and the service is excellent. My favorite dish is fried meat with tostones and salad. They have very good portions and have very good seasoning. I recommend them very highly!“
“This place has the best birria ramen I've had in awhile. The drive is definitely worth it! Price is decent. The aqua fresca drinks are delicious. I had the watermelon sincec they were out for the other flavors but it was so good! I live in Lakeland but driving there is definitely worth it. The people there are very friendly and nice. It doesn't take long to make the orders either. It's located right outside a gas station. They don't have much for seating though so definitely plan to either eat it in the car or take home. I think they have like 1 table and a few chairs which is totally fine because the food was delicious!“
“Best Mexican food in Bartow, maybe even Polk County. The staff are super friendly and they never disappoint. The closest thing to the Mexican food I ate in Los Angeles. Very authentic, even the tortillas are hand made. I eat there usually like twice a week. It's so good!!!!“
“Super delicious tacos in the flea market! They do a huge variety of tacos and Mexican plates, including burritos. The food is prepped fresh and served hot.The seating area is a group of carports with picnic tables which do provide some shade but not elegant.“
“Maria (the owner) works the cashier as well as making the food. We are in town from Atlanta, Georgia. This is the best Mexican food we have had! Don’t cheat yourself come visit Maria, it’s worth the drive! You’ve tried the rest, NOW TRY THE BEST!$$$$The value is very good too! $$$Places to sit inside and out side.“
“This place is so good that we drove 50 minutes to a new location.. I ordered a chicken sopa and an al pastor burrito.. My husband ordered a chorizo burrito.. Everything was delicious and we will be back.Vegetarian options: Rice and beansParking: Lots of spots.Kid-friendliness: They have benches and seats also kid meals.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps.“
“Food is delicious. They have a Mexican menu as well as cocina criolla. The food is flavorful and served warm. They have fresh waters (hibiscus , tamarind, watermelon). You can place an order over the phone. la comida está deliciosa y está echa en el momento que la ordenas. Para tomar tienen aguas frescas (Jamaica, tamarindo, sandía). There is a gas station if you would like to purchase a soda. Puedes llamar y hacer tu orden por teléfono. Hay mesas para poder comer.“
“We stopped while passing through, and i was impressed with the food. Best fish and chips I've ever had. Delicious soft pretzel (I'm a Philly native, so we are fussy about our pretzels?), the wings and fries were all delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.“
“Fabulous, bare bones sit down restaurant. Extensive and comprehensive menu. Huge portion of excellent pozole. Birria tacos were wonderful. No alcohol, but excellent Mexican juices and sodas. Part of the Jean Talon market, which is well worth going to. Will definitely be back.“
“This spot is a local one. They've grown and grown through the years and we love them here. The food is mexican style. The tacos are 1$ still after at least 8 years. Easy ratings. It is a food truck that's permanently parked. They don't try to be anything other than that, and that's what makes them great. There's a wide range of food options. I think they have 15 options give or take. Tamales. Tacos. Nachos. Burritos. Normal fare. All hot and cooked right then. This is a Mexican food truck. If you're expecting more, don't. It is what you expect and I think we all love for that. You'll get some cooked onions, cilantro, and meet with your tacos. Corn tortillas. Verde (green chilies sauce) or rojo (red peppers). Both are spicy. A pepper cooked. A slice of cucumber. There's a few drink options like Arizona tea and mexican coke.Service is just what you'd expect. The people are nice. There is a small language translation. They can speak English well enough to take your order accurately. It is a bit loud outside of the truck between the people, music, and equipment. Then broken English and noise make the ordering exactly what you'd expect. Just deal with it and grab your tacos. If it is an issue for you, don't come to this spot. This is the taco truck. It is what it is and we like it for that. The atmosphere was also described above but to expand, this is just slightly above a parking lot. There are wooden benches to smash the tacos and move on. It can be breath takingly hot. Not in the stunning beautiful way. In the central florida hot way. They have some cover but this is asphalt and road. It'll be hot and have biting bugs at certain points of the day. There'll be road noise and you're in the parking lot of a pawn shop. Again, and for the last time I promise, this is a taco truck. Please don't confuse it for anything else. We enjoy having this spot and they deserve all the best. The tacos are hot, well cooked, and made to order. They're still a dollar after forever and they haven't changed.I love this taco truck and I hope they never change. If you want some street tacos, this is one of the best spots.Vegetarian options: It is mexican food out of a truck, almost everything will have touched a surface with meat. I'm sure you could order only veggies on your food but I wouldn't pick this place to try that out. Better to skip this one if you're very finicky about this.Parking: Plenty of parking. This is in the parking lot of a pawn shop. It kind of shares the space but it is definitely sharing the parking lot with the pawn shop. I am sure the taco truck does far more business than the pawn shop.Kid-friendliness: Depends on if you're sitting down to eat or not. I see people there with their kids all the time but make sure you read the review. It gets hot outside. It is loud. It is near a road and in the parking lot of a business. This is a spot where you eat and move on. You can sit and eat but that's your choice. Having kids there too may suck.Wheelchair accessibility: It would be hard for someone in a wheelchair to order. The window to order is pretty high. I'm assuming since I am not in one but I'm short (5'7") enough to still have to yell into the window myself. I don't know if it is an issue but just be prepared to possibly have to raise your voice significantly. The parking shouldn't be an issue. Or navigating at the table area.“
“Not too bad.. But also nothing out of the norm. The staff was great! Loved the interaction with the employees. The chips are ok, and the smoked brisket was good. Can't say anything bad about the place, but definitely did not stand out either. Will I go again? Probably not. It's missing something, just not sure what!“
“I came bc it says Tacos ? De California and California had the best tacos since it’s right next door to Mexico ?? viva Mexico. The mango piña drink is so good wow all freshly made , I love hole in the wall places. I ordered a burrito and some street ?“
“Stumbled upon this place on our way to our AirBnb and it happened to be Karaoke Night. First off, the singing was phenomenal! It was like going to an adult American Idol audition! The service was fantastic - all the servers were wonderful and very helpful! Highly recommend this place for a good time and good food!“
“First time we visited Orlando FL we are Mexican and we wanted to eat Mexican seasoning I went with my family and since we arrived the customer service was very good their recommendations were good but the best was the food we felt at home I recommend it 100% if I didn't live so far away I'm sure we would visit very often 10/10 and very economical it is also us ?????????? ??“
“The lady at the food truck was very nice, great price for quantity and quality of food. I was surprised by the chunks of tomatoes in the consume/broth. The tortillas could have been browned on the outside a little better to make the tortillas more flavorful but otherwise it was very delicious. It was my friend’s very first Birria tacos for her birthday and she enjoyed them a lot!“
“This place is off the charts don’t let the outside fool you it is amazing. Try the Barbacoa tacos and the asada torta. The tamarindo agua is sooooo good. I’m Hispanic and this place was amazing. Picture of my mom enjoying the food she’s a hella hard critic and she even loved it.“
