“Went on 2 occasions within the space of of a few days as the kids enjoyed themselves on the first visit. There were plenty of options for hot pot and barbeque. I only eat seafood and vegetables and was able to get what I wanted. Food looked fresh and tasted fresh. Kids enjoyed being table to pick up their own food and cooking it. We only did hotpot on the first day and 2nd day we tried both options. The hotpot was my favorite. No issues with the barbeque but just preferred the hot pot. Space was clean. Waiter on the first day was ok, waitress on the 2nd day was great.“

“What a great new addition to the already crowded KBBQ scene in Central Florida. What sets this place apart is the food itself and the service. First, the food… extremely well marinated and everything was on point from the kimchi pancake to the side dishes and of course, the meats themselves. Second, the service stood out the most. Jason our server was extremely personable, helpful and just overall a good guy. He led us the entire meal providing recommendations and even made sure our meats were never overcooked. This is rare in other KBBQ places these days. The rest of the staff was also great, clearing off dishes immediately and filling our cups as soon as they see it getting low.I think I found my new go-to KBBQ in Orlando! The food is delicious and high quality compared to other grill-your-own-meat places (you pay for the premium) and that alone can carry the restaurant.I have to mention one issue during our visit. We were a larger group and it seemed that larger parties were somewhat deprioritized. While the staff was friendly, it took a bit longer for our orders to be taken, and we noticed that smaller tables around us received their cooking food before us. Either plan accordingly or make sure the staff get you your food items in a timely manner. We had already pretty much eaten all of the sides that accompanied the meat by the time the meat arrived and we were not particularly pleased at how long we ended up at the restaurant and were so hungry we forgot to take pictures of the main courses.While I may pick other places to host larger parties from now on, I would still highly recommend Gyu-Kaku for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience. They are still an oasis in our dining desert. Just be aware that if you're in a larger group, you might experience a bit of a wait.“

Pieces of bbq meat in with the beans! Coating on the green tomatoes was a bit underwhelming and not too crispy. Greens were smokey and savory. Mac and cheese very creamy. The nachos were solid. “I stopped at the gas station to get some gas & all I smelled was that good smelling food coming from that grill. OMG I got the half of BBQ chicken with Mac & cheese & greens. It was so delicious & the chicken was so tender. Black gave us a sample of the rib & damn it the meat was so tender & falling off the bone. The sweet potato casserole was also delicious. My daughter & nice shared the baked Mac & cheese & didn’t even use to taste any. We went back about an hour later & got a slab of ribs & Lord have mercy it was so delicious. “This is exactly what you want from a BBQ truck. It's only open Saturday from 12-5 but is absolutely worth planning around. All the meat choices were well done. The ribs, pulled pork and brisket were all very good. I am from KC so it doesn't quite match a place like Joe's, but it really close. The brisket is a bit fatty, but that adds to the flavor.Prices are fair, so for BBQ, it is value for quality. It was busy and the grass area parking off of Avalon is a little limited, but manageable. It's informal and easy to navigate.They have 4 different sauces and they are all great. It was a great experience, food was great, expect a little wait...it's popular for a reason.Edit: I failed to give them credit for serving their meats "dry" as all good BBQ should be. If you have to cover the taste with sauce, there's something wrong. With that being noted, their sauces are ridiculously great. I expected them to coast on the sauces given the size and nature of the operation, but I was dead wrong. I wouldn't waste covering their very good BBQ with sauce, but sauces are essential to enjoying your fries and sides. All four choices were simply outstanding. These are as good as you'll find in KC, Memphis, St Louis or the Texas places that are known in the BBQ world. I am not over stating this, they are great.“

It cost a total of $40.95 after tax. I was able to feed 2 adults, 3 kids, and one infant from these large portions. Take your food down to the quiet sitting areas to the left of the restaurant. These spots are somewhat private and tranquil with the wildlife. It makes for a great stop to rest your feet after a long day of park walking. We each had French onion soup (the best one I’ve ever had), we split the chicken bites from the appetizer menu, the NY steak, Mac and cheese and Caesar salad. We talked to the server and she brought us a new one and it was like we had before: really good Mac and cheese (nice and cheesy).We also had a chocolate stampede to celebrate my bday and it was sooooo good! “I had the pleasure of having Fat Bones BBQ’s smoked chicken for an event and I must say I got my money’s worth plus some. I was thoroughly surprised at the amount of chicken as well as the variety of pieces. Fat Bones BBQ provided wings as well as chopped up leg quarters…..some with sauce and some without to provide options for the guest. The meat was mouthwatering and had people talking about it days later.Did I mention the food was delivered…..saving me time in an already hectic day. “Kenny's is real good BBQ ran by great people. I ordered 2 full slabs, beef sausages, mac n cheese, and seafood rice. Everything was tasty and cooked perfectly. The ribs were smothered in sauce (hot sauce was hot! Yum) as I asked and fall off the bone tender. The seafood rice had big pieces of seafood and wasn't mushy or dry. The young lady who took my order was very patient with me and gentleman that packed up my order made sure everything was to my liking before sending me off. I will definitely be back. “We were driving by and the smell of smoked perfection made us stop in our tracks. Without exaggeration, Basil’s barbecue ribs are the best ribs I’ve ever eaten in my life. They came with sauce and bread, but I didn’t need either one. I don’t even think they were dry-rub.
