“Ponte does not disappoint! I took my husband there last night for his birthday and from start to finish, it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere is elegant and modern but not ostentatious or garish. The food and drinks were creative, expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and unbelievably delicious. And I cannot say enough about the staff. From Samantha, the hostess; Tyler, the manager; Bill, our server; and Matt, the sous chef; to the young man serving the bread and the multiple other staff who kept our water glasses full, everyone was professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and engaging. Samantha, in particular, handled a very aggressive and arrogant disgruntled man in the most diplomatic and professional manner. And this man was so aggressive that my husband and I almost intervened on Samantha’s behalf. But her diplomacy and professionalism did not waiver. To say she impressed us is an understatement. All in all, this was by far one of the best, if not the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. We will definitely return.“

“We enjoyed our dinner at the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City. Been coming here for many years and the food is always very good. My large family loved the food. The salad is a must have and the warm Cuban bread is amazing. I had the Red Snapper and the others had the grouper and shrimp. Not complaints and everyone loved the yellow rice. I can definitely recommend this restaurant! And make sure you get a few of the mints on your way out, as they are awesome too!“

“We came in for Mother's Day dinner, and so the restaurant was unusually busy, leading to a few hiccups. Mr. Michael even stopped by, voluntarily. Nothing major, but understandable due to the volume of customers....My drinks and meal were fantastic, however.“

“Everything was spectacular. Do not hesitate. Reserve now. For starters we had a blue cheese (the Executive Chef's favorite -don't remember the name) and the Wagyu charcuterie board, with the bread basket. The cheese was spectacular. So was the Wagyu, though we preferred the cheese and "fought" for the last smear. The bread came with a Calabrian chili butter and a muffalata style spread which by itself inspires you to return. My son had the charred octopus and said it was nice and tender, though he prefers more char. Ordered the pasta plate for my mother - the right size for her - and she ate everything and kept saying how good it was after every bite- the plate was clean! We had steaks - Delmonico and dry aged strip - they are from Bern's and you can tell. The sauces were the Fresno chili chimichurri (wow!) and the foie gras velouté (classic). Accompaniments were the brussel sprouts salad (game changer - go back for more) and the Mac&cheese with duck fat (had never tasted anything quite like this and it's a plate to remember). Finally, as Bern's sister, Haven can get you Dessert Room reservations and we did it! Baked Alaska for dessert! It was such an unexpected and pleasant evening. A shout out to Gordon, our waiter, simply the best... He is well-known and respected by Bern's staff. Deserves all the praise.“

“A group of 10 of us ate here to celebrate two college graduates.The food was delicious, the service was great and the entertainment was hilarious.We ate on the 2nd floor and they accommodated our large party easily.Our server Deja was wonderful, she was very friendly and nice and definitely attentive. Halfway through our night we had 3 more people join our table and she was able to adjust accordingly without any hesitation. Deja if you are reading this, you rock!I ordered the saganaki, which our server delivered and ignited herself! I also ordered the Greek souvlaki platter. Both of which were delicious. The portions were decent but they pricing was a little high compared to what I’m used to from comparable Greek restaurants. This could be easily explained by the location given as how it’s located directly on the main strip in Ybor.I want to leave a 5 star review but the restaurant was in shambles while we were there. What I mean by this is the cleanliness. I am well aware that breaking plates and throwing napkins on the floor is typical at a Greek establishment but the restaurant was not the cleanest and there was a strange smell brooding on the 2nd floor. To be fair it was a Saturday night and there were at least 4 large parties.I will definitely be eating here again and probably updating my review accordingly!Dietary restrictions: Most of our party could not eat pork and they have plenty of beef and chicken options.Parking: It’s ybor, you pay to park down the street and walk to the restaurant. Or get lucky and pay for street parking.“

“I have eaten here on several occasions and the last time, while I was waiting for my date to arrive, the proprietor approached me and asked me if I would like to reserve a table. After my date arrived we were promptly seated and, although we lingered over our dinner, the host was very gracious and polite. I would recommend this place not only for the food but also for the hospitality.“

It was a special occasion for a dear friend and the staff and management made it that much more memorable ❤️. I've been to a number of venues with far less people and it was like the "Keystone Cops" ..... translation for those that didn't get the reference "Crazy". Our servers were on point the whole time and something that I've never seen in a restaurant before with the number of people or at wedding for that matter is that we all got served at the same time. “Wow! 7th & Grove was the best part of my trip to Tampa. I was greeted at the door by Alicia and she accommodated my party of 5 on the fly! Bri, our waitress was amazing! Quick. Efficient. Friendly. Jarvis - the manager is a people person, you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. He walks by every table and checks on everyone. Loved that. We tried the Combinado Lima Limon, a dish for two people,comprised of Arroz Con Mariscos, Ceviche, Jalea Mixta, Causa and Tiradito. Each of these dishes is described in the attached menu photo. I particularly liked the Tiradito, Ceviche and Causa.The service was very good and the atmosphere is "luncheonette-ish." The restaurant hours are not long. We dined on a Friday and it was closed before 8 p.m.We will return for the tasty food (which is available for takeout as well) and recommend Lima Limon for those interested in flavorful Peruvian food.“

“Funny story. I've been to Armature Works a few times because I love the atmosphere. Because it's basically a food court, the food can be hit or miss, but as usually quite satisfying. However, this time, I went with family members carrying food that we had bought elsewhere. We were spied by security and were informed that we could not bring outside food into Armature Works. It really makes sense; after all, the place exists primarily to go and hang out while having a good meal with friends and family. But we were escorted out by security. So yeah, I got kicked out of Armature Works. I'm a rebel. I'll definitely go back because I really like the place. But next time, I'll just bring my credit card instead of food from outside. ?“

“A great all around all you can eat sushi place. Would recommend going for the lunch special. It was under $20 per person but if you go for dinner it's around $30. At $30 there are better alternatives for sushi and Japanese cuisine in the Brandon area. If you love japanese food and sushi I would recommend at least trying it.“

“Charley's never disappoints! We love sitting at the bar before dinner for cocktails. Bartenders are always most attentive. The dinner is as per normal, outstanding!!! Waitstaff is extremely knowledgeable and offer service in a superb manner. My only complaint is that I COULD NOT FINISH MY STEAK! It was soooooo good but with everything else I was very full; however, it made for a great appetizer for our happy hour at home. Thank you and I really look forward to your new place.“
