“Tonight was our first visit to VAS. It certainly won’t be our last… our server, Vita, was engaging, polite, and an absolute joy to be around. She was courteous, prompt, and kept our table sparkling clean and our drinks filled at all times. Sydney, the manager was friendly and made us feel like family. We will definitely be back and will recommend VAS and staff to all our friends. We can’t thank them enough for the most wonderful evening!“
“My granddaughter and I were visiting Atlanta at the same time. She chose Flatlands for lunch. We had a blast. There were two women about to leave. We struck up a conversation and they suggested a few items from the menu. One of which was the Pair Martini. When I say it was the bomb dot com. I so mean that and the fried goat cheese, crab dip, and fried seafood platter. We pigged Out. Thank you Flatlands for your hospitality and also the two women who suggested the pair martini. I can't wait to travel back.“
“This is by far one of the very best local places in Alpharetta to grab a good meal and a beer or cocktail in Alpharetta. I’m a regular. Check out the bar area, and don’t forget to say hi to Jenny, the best bartender ever. The service is wonderful and the food is delicious, always fresh and great. Don’t skip the evening specials, usually a fish with risotto. We always enjoy ordering the blue point oysters, as well. They make awesome wings - I order them fried and grilled, then tossed with both hot sauce and teriyaki. Kimmie can’t resist the house salad with salmon and their homemade miso dressing.“
“I was given 2 tickets for a free Sunday brunch. This would be my first time eating brunch here. I have been here for dinner before and their food is delicious. Their Sunday brunch did not disappoint. Very good selection and of course I had bottomless mimosas. I cannot leave without commenting on the table bread. yummy!“
“Visited Kin No Tori Ramen Bar in Alpharetta yesterday with my adult daughter. This location was formerly called Ramen By Hajime-which I loved also. Luckily for me, we enjoyed our Black Tonkotsu ramen with the same savory deliciousness that seems rare in other places. The broth is the best! Also, although they did not list their Citrus Yuzu hot beverage on their menu, they offer it. It pairs nicely with their ramen and full of vitamin C, no doubt. Plus, we shared an order of Crispy Brussel Sprouts which were also delicious. I usually take pictures, but was enjoying the food so much that I didn't stop to take any. I hope you enjoy when you go. It's nice and cozy and conveniently located.“
“I went there for a private event. Shrimp, scampi and mushroom ravioli were very tasty. I also enjoyed grilled eggplant. The cheesecake and the chocolate mousse cake were delicious. Keylime pie wasn't bad, but it was a little bit too heavy on the crust. The meatball and risotto ball were decent, but I wasn't particularly a huge fan. Overall I thought a very tasty.“
“This was our first time visiting this restaurant. Our sever Art was AMAZING!!!! 10 out of 10 with service!!! The good was delicious and in a huge serving might I add. I had the Mardi Gras Pasta and my husband had the Seafood Platter. I also had the Swampthing drink!! I will be returning to sit in Art section again!!“
“A late but heartfelt thank you! I got married in October and had a last minute realization that my menu would not work with a couple of guests' food restrictions. Called Favors and Flavors for 100 wings and boy did they deliver! The owners were super responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. Those chicken wings disappeared fast and were the hit of the party. Will definitely be stopping in to try more of the menu!“
“Service was top-class. Super attentive but we did wait a little longer for our entrees than I would have expected. David did pop over and update us mind you so not a big issue. The food was good but lacked the flavor I expected. I had a cup of chili and was decent. My shrimp linguine was not as creamy or flavorsome.“
“This joint is AOK. It’s got that relaxed beachy atmos with seating indoors and out. The staff is always friendly. I usually roll with the fried chicken sandwich. Other items are good too. My companion today said that Cuban was flavorful. The ham was a little dry but good with dipping sauce. He liked the pressed bread too. He also says they have the best Frosé in the Alpharetta City Center. Oh yeah, this place is in a primo location too. If you’re looking for a casual place to hang that has good eats, you can stop searching.Parking: The Alpharetta City Center has free street parking and two free parking decks.“
“Absolutely love the ambiance, the service is impeccable and the food is great. It also fits my professional and personal needs. I’ve attended lunches with my real estate firm and took my husband to dinner for his birthday. Cabernet Steakhouse is a great experience!“
“Unexpected upcharge on drinks. Food and service was above average, which is something you would expect in this area and price point. When the bill came, we were a bit put off by the $2/ice block upcharge for each old fashioned we ordered in addition to the premium bourbon we selected. The fact that you would make a proper old fashioned with crushed ice was a bit puzzling. While the amount was insignificant to the $500 we spent for a party of four, I would have expected to be informed about the charge upfront.Days later, it isn’t the great dinner that we’re all talking about, but rather how we spent $14 on ice for seven drinks. At this price point, it’s the little details that matter. That’s my bougie first-world problem review.“
“Delicious food, beyond friendly and knowledgeable service, the cocktails are perfect and a rare perfect Reisling. My family dined here for my son’s birthday dinner but my sister and I plan to visit for cocktails and dinner without the children soon. Beautiful and clean restaurant (picky Mom commented on that quickly upon entering) and a lovely atmosphere.“
“This was my wife's and I first time here. Not sure what I was expecting but with Tavern in the name, I was thinking peanut shells on the floor. Nope! It was beautifully decorated inside. We went on a Saturday around 5ish so it was not too crowded and got seated with no reservations. Our waitresses was very nice and repeated our order which was an added bonus.I had a Ceasar salad which was not drenched in dressing. It had the perfect amount. Then our mains came out. I had the Prime Rib. It was perfect. Some places you get a 14oz prime that is 10oz of fat, not thos place. Perfect amount of marbling. Only complaint was the horseradish didn't really have any bite to it, but that is ok.The Village Tavern is definitely added to our rotation of places to go.My wife had a burger that she said was good. Some places she gets a burger from and they are no better than Wendy's but this, she said was really good. The only reason I dropped lower in atmosphere was because we were seated next to the kitchen. I would say if you are going to have a discussion, move to an location not next to where people are sitting. Didn't bother me but some might have an issue.Parking: Just be aware that there are signs that says the restaurant is not responsible for lost items. Nothing happened when we were there, but follow the signs.“
“Ginger fish was good. I asked for 'hot' and it was just the right level of hotness, nothing too hot. The curry puff starter was good with a filling that was mildly sweet and the veggie steamed gyoza was okay, but nothing you'd miss.“
“In my opinion this restaurant is the number one contender for chinese food in Forsyth county. I have been to lots of different Chinese take out places and this has been the best by far. The staff and owner at this location are friendly, and extremely hard working. They are one of the only Chinese restaurants still serving Fried Wontons (with the meat in them) - and they are the best I’ve had in Georgia at that. They are always cooked to perfection: golden and delicious, and never burnt. Based on the taste alone I can tell that they are frying it in clean oil. They also have lunch specials daily; I wouldn’t hesitate to try something new, because I know the care they are putting into their work. They have a very good menu selection, reasonably priced dishes and very attentive service. A special thank you to the owner for giving a warm welcome and beautiful smile each time we walk through the door, she is the best!“
“Close at 9:30 not 10:00! Ordered “To-Go” one evening and it was great, delicious, timely made. I go the next evening at 9 p.m. and was being hurried to order as if they weren’t closing at 10:00pm. I simply walked out feeling “snubbed”.“
“We came with a party of five and were promptly seated. The hostess was great, and so was the table. The server greeted us and didn't rush us with taking appetizer and drink orders. The wine came right away. The appetizer took a while, but it was a hot and delicious dish. We ordered steaks and didn't get them for an hour or more. The steaks were tasty. He did come back to check if we were happy with the steaks and we unanimously. One of our guests was the birthday. He got a very nice dish of sweets enough for sharing though he demolished the plate. I had to find the server and ask for a dessert menu. I've rarely, if ever, had to locate a server for anything else due to long gaps of time between services. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because the restaurant was busy, we came at a busy time. The staff were pleasant, respectful, and welcoming. The food was very good. I really liked the server. He must have been busy with a lot of tables. Perhaps help from a food runner would have helped.“
“This has the best bang for your buck in my opinion. I’ve tried all the other places nearby and my family and I prefer China Heaven. Not sure why all the bad reviews. We have ordered at least a dozen times in 2years and never had a bad meal once.“
“Hands down the BEST Chinese food in Alpharetta. Being brought up in the Northeast, their pork fried rice is the closest to home. Also, the beef lo mein is out of this world. The portions are are always on par and the owners are friendly and courteous.I highly recommend this place if you are looking for great Chinese food!“
“I’ve been here a few times. After last night, I think it’s time to leave a review. My wife and I went to several different restaurants around Alpharetta last night. Foundation stood out from the pack. Best drinks of the night by far. Pork spare ribs are amazing. Definitely recommend.“
