My boyfriend and I came to athens for the botanical garden lights, but time we got done looking at the lights it was kind of late where everything were closing up. Eddie's was the only thing open nearby, so we went in and they cooked our calzone fresh. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch calzone, and my boyfriend ordered the meat calzone. A drunk man ran into my calzone so I brought it back. They immediately made me a new one and apologized for the incident. 5 stars for quality and effort from the business. It is clear they care about their customer.

Eddie’s is a cornerstone of downtown Athens, and I’m shocked by any negative reviews. The service is absolutely phenomenal; there is never a moment where you don’t feel taken care of. Better calzones than anyone in town.
