“We had brunch today at Thumbs Up Diner for the first time at the Atlanta downtown Marietta location. Boogie was our server and she was super nice and efficient! We sat in a big red comfy booth and had our coffees within five minutes of arrival. We had the following: Southwestern Omelets- filled to the brim and delicious! French toast- super fresh and grilled with yummy warm syrup. Cheese grits- just the right amount of cheese and not too salty. Tofu and veggie scramble-sautéed seasoned tofu with grilled veggies on a bed of fresh spinach. Super healthy and filling. I asked for salsa to add to it and it was no problem. The only problem we had was loading g their menu on the phone... was slow to load so I used yelp's menu. Will come back again to order the waffles next time!“
“I love the diner feel of this place! It feels like I'm transported back to the 80's. We came for a brunch with friends and everything was so good! Christina our server was very attentive even though they were a little busy. I would recommend the waffles and pancakes!! They have the best batter!! I have to come back to try a burger and fries but for breakfast? This place is amazing!!“
“Giving this place an overall rating of 5 mostly because of the service. Stopped in for breakfast. Basic menu, not the usual crazy long diner menu. Reasonable prices. Had the vegetarian omelet. Tasty with huge portion. Not so crazy about the bland, water grits and the dessicated rye toast. But the service was fabulous and honesty, that's all I really want at most places. Especially first thing in the morning.“
“Today I was at Thumbs Up Diner for the first time and it was beyond expectations! Alfredo my server bowled me over with great service, my drink never went empty and Alfredo was very attentive. The food presentation looks great and the portions are very good compared to other diners! my Sedona Omelette was delicious and had Chicken Sausage and Avocado which was nice that I didn't have to pay extra. The prices were fair for the means and it was a nice atmosphere with great music and exposed brick I would go all the time except for my 2 hour drive from Augusta!“
“This morning i was super hungry & actually had a chance to grab something before work. I found this gem up the street! It isn't something i would choose off of appearance but i was very glad i did. The catfish was made to perfection!! I also really enjoyed my scrambled cheese eggs, in which i never order. The breakfast potatoes were nice & crispy! Service was in & out! Looks sure cbs be deceiving as inside was older folks enjoying breakfast & calm. Would recommend take out! Also am not a coffee person but had some being exhausted today & i am breezing through my day with my lite & sweet! My partner ordered French toast & said it was really good as well!“

“Had a quick to-go order after a client meeting at Home Depot HQ - on our way to west atlanta.They only take cash ?No ATM is around.Braised chicken and General tso was great.They have a small window to give out food. No dine in area ! $10 per entree ….. the helping was great !“
