“I came here in celebration of my boyfriend's birthday, and it is fair to say that this is one of Atlanta's most stunning restaurants. From the moment you drive up to valet and step foot into the Hyatt Regency hotel the level of service was upscale and top of the line & noticeably consistent amongst all of the staff. They all made my boyfriend feel so special and acknowledged for his birthday. I LOVED the hospitality from our server she was very vibrant and even offered to take our photos without us even having to ask which was a major plus! The food was very flavorful. I ordered the Polaris Steak Oscar the portion size was fairly small but everything was delicious and complimented everything on the plate very well. Due to the portion size I ranked my meal a 8/10. My boyfriend ordered the Steelhead Trout which was also very delicious but he only liked the trout everything else on the plate he wasn't too impressed with he ranked it a 7/10. As a complimentary birthday freebie they offered my bf 3 options either a free dessert of his choice, a free shot of alcohol or a free glass of champagne. He went with the free glass of champagne! Something extremely unique about this restaurant is that it rotates while you're eating and offers breathtaking 360 degrees views of the city. Such an exciting fun touch to dining here unlike any restaurant I've eaten at in Atlanta. I also liked how the seating was very intimate and romantic it was our table and one other table next to ours which was perfect for the romantic birthday dinner I was going for. Pricing here was inexpensive, and overall I would rate this restaurant with 5 stars ?“

“The dishes are inventive and delicious, but there were only a couple that were "wow-worthy." There were some plating issues that left me thinking if they had someone working the pass to inspect dishes before they left the kitchen. For example, for one dish I had an errant medallion of fish sitting on the rim of my plate, and during another course one of my dining partner's dishes had a "splatter" sauce as the base of the dish while the rest of us had an elegant "swoosh" of sauce. The fish and scallops were overcooked, too. That being said it was still a great experience. We did the tasting menu and I had a classic wine pairing. The pairing was hit and miss but mostly hits; there were some unexpected wines that I can only describe as a bit funky but they paired well with the dish served alongside them. The sommelier was helpful and great at fielding any questions I had. I loved all the details about each selection. The staff are kind, efficient, and helpful at every opportunity. The only feedback I have is better coordination for service is needed but this is just a minor point. We're very happy to have experienced Atlas and would recommend it to fellow food lovers as a solid option for those in the Buckhead area looking for fine dining.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at True Food Kitchen in Buckhead, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. I ordered the spaghetti squash bowl with blackened shrimp, and it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The dish was beautifully presented, with the bright orange spaghetti squash as the base, topped with perfectly cooked blackened shrimp, avocado, and a variety of fresh vegetables like kale, mushrooms, and snap peas. The flavors and textures all worked together harmoniously, with the sweetness of the squash balancing out the spicy kick of the blackened shrimp. The portions were generous, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the preparation of the dish. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of heat, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection, retaining their natural flavors and textures. The ambiance of the restaurant was also quite pleasant, with a modern and clean design that was both comfortable and inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Overall, I would highly recommend True Food Kitchen to anyone looking for a delicious, healthy meal in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The spaghetti squash bowl with blackened shrimp is a must-try, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. #christianfrazier“

“We came in randomly on a Saturday afternoon a couple of weeks ago and HAD A TIMEEEEEE. Charity was our server and she was the best! REQUEST HER. Charity was so attentive and made our visit amazing. The energy of the staff and atmosphere was littttt. They really made us feel welcomed. We even got to sit right next to Santana! The food was good and the drink tower we had was wellll worth the price. The hookah was smooth AF. The music was great too and I am a DJ! I thought they had a DJ spinning cause the music selection had everyone dancing. In conclusion, I would come back alone for the staff and the environment. If you want a lit brunch place (not no boring IG Grass wall spot), this is definitely the spot!“

“We googled good places to eat & this has the most reviews! The biscuits & gravy was SO GOOD, the chicken sandwich was juicy with lots of flavor, the jam for the biscuits is their homemade kind & it has a good flavor! We're from New Mexico & we can definitely say, we'll come here again the next time we visit Atlanta!“

I had the special of fried rainbow trout with savory grits and delicious cream sauce. My husband had a cheeseburger and garlic mash that he said was amazing. We also had the fried brussel sprouts that came with cream sauce the was very tasty. My favorite was the gumbo, so flavorful! Will definitely be back for more!“

“Tabby was in town and in usual Tabby flow she was exploring the atlasobscura website and came across The Consulate. As such, we decided to go. We had reservations for 06:15 on a Friday. Arriving about 20 minutes early as traffic happened to be light, we were able to be seated early without any issues. Upon entering the restaurant the hallway decor captures your attention as you focus on the selected hues of blue and artwork placement. Upon being seated we were immediately greeted by Cindy. Cindy arrived all smiles coupled with a huge personality and warm welcome. As this was our first time she took a moment to explain to us the menu selections, geographical inspiration, as well as answer the few questions we had about select items. Cindy’s education of the menu and experience with the foods added to the food deciding experience. Major shout out to Cindy. The ambiance of the restaurant is high energy, captivating and explorative. As you look around the restaurant it puts you in the mindset of being inside one of the classic true to theme castles in an Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider movie. LoL! At any moment Laura Croft could walk in and grab one of the items on display and head out for her next mission. LoL! I decided on the String Beans with a side of Mexican Rice and I was more than satisfied with the flavor profile of my meal. The string beans were flavor stacked with the slight sweet from the sauce and the spice from the peppers. The texture was spot on for a true sautéed experience as well as the portion was perfect… The Mexican rice paired well with the string beans as it provided a texture variation as well as it was seasoned well but not overpowering in comparison to the string beans. This was truly a 10/10 experience. The service, the environment, and the food were all superb. Whether for a personal 2 person dinner or after work friend vibe, The Consulate is truly a must try for any occasion.“

“Not busy and wait time for food was ridiculous! Manager not even nice about it. Fries not even hot when entrees arrived. A dragged out not very good dinner. Then my parking ticket that hostess helped validate wasn’t actually validated. Had to pay $22 to get out of deck. Too many other great restaurants in Atlanta! Don’t waste your time here!!!“

“Located in Home Park we happy to see that the location was not difficult to get to. There was a parking garage around the corner however there is complimentary valet service which is always a relief. The dining room has several rooms with different views my husband and I were sat in a room full of windows which was nice. My husband and I were in for our anniversary and decided to try one of the new Michelin recommended restaurants. We came for a 5:30 reservation and left close to 8:15. The service was decent however there was several times that we said " ummmmm where is our waitress?" But I think the staff does a good job of working as a team. We started off with some drinks I got the Miller Time ( a nice light and refreshing gin cocktail) and my husband got a beer. We were very impressed with the beer menu they had lots of our favorites and was certainly a nice treat for him. For starters we had the hush puppies ( cooked well, with a chutney on top and a nice creamy sauce underneath), The Farm Baked Egg( a staple to the restaurant, deliciously creamy with outstanding sourdough toast) and, the Local Lettuce Salad( I really loved how the ingredients were the star of the show with this salad. It was by no means underdressed but it was well balanced enough that you could enjoy all of the in season veggies), for dinner I had the Pork schnitzel( I was a little disappointed by this one the sauce was unlike any I have ever had and was heavy on the citrus while the collards were difficult to eat because they were so tough, the pork itself was pretty standard although, I had always thought schnitzel was supposed to be pretty thin this was not. The dish was highly recommended but I think it just wasn't for me) my husband had the duck leg ( which was cooked very nicely and he was very satisfied with the overall dish) for dessert we were gifted some glasses of Prosecco ( very sweet to include for our anniversary) to go with the vanilla cake( very moist and was paired with island flavors), the lemon bar( pleasantly bright with a raspberry sorbet and grapefruit mouse. I loved everything about this dish there was so many bright puckery flavors but it was not overwhelming.) and, the Dessert cheese course( lovely selection on cheeses the only thing that was off to me is the strawberries were not sweet at all.... It was a little sad). I also ordered a cappuccino which unfortunately had no foam on top paired with their hazelnut liquor which was very good. All in all it was a good experience.“

“The food is generally excellent - lots of farm to table and seasonal options. Beer is made on site and top notch, with a few guest taps on rotation as well. “Order was placed online, we waited longer than was posted in the app. When we started eating the chicken we noticed that it was under cooked. It was taken back to the counter, and was told that they would fix it. We left with the fresh cooked wings, these were cooked hard than expected. This visit was disappointing compared to what I've previously received.“

“I wanted to try a Michelin star restaurant. This place did not disappoint! The parking was free! The staff was so kind. It was not hoity toity either. I didn't need to know the cutlery as they brought out new pieces for each course. It was the most expensive meal I've ever had ($200+/plate) so I don't recommend bringing kids! The attire was more laid back than we expected, which was also nice. S/O took off his tie. ?It was a great experience.“

“I went here for a work event and was pleasantly surprised by the food! We ordered a lot of small appetizers and they were great, loved the spinach dip the most. The burger sliders were a bit dry but still good. Our drinks were very good and I would get the Roman Holiday again! The service was a tad slow but we were a big party so can't fault them there. This is a nicer, upscale restaurant and great for dates or business events.“

“We had Easter brunch at Local Three and it was a great place for it! It was a popular Easter Brunch favorite from what we could see. And the ambiance was fun, energetic and special. We were a little disappointed with the food. The flavors were good, but some of it had been sitting out a while and therefore was not as fresh as it might have been had it not been a busy holiday and buffet. We also loved the setting outside the building where Local Three is housed... beautiful park like area which was blooming with flowers and ideal for Easter family photos. All in all, wonderful experience. We may need to go again when it isn't a holiday.“

“Waited an hour to be sat outside in the cold. Zero mention beforehand that the table may be outside. Not another soul outside and plenty of people waiting to be seated. Zero accommodations were made to attempt to get us sat inside when we notified staff we would be leaving because we weren’t going to sit in the cold. Booths have thermal lamp but only reaches about two seats and does zero for the wind. Felt very ostracized and extremely disappointed.“

“What a fantastic and unique experience of a meal! My wife and I celebrated our 16 year anniversary at Gunshow not knowing what to expect and the whole dining experience blew us away. It's a dim sum style meal where every plate brought out is a culinary masterpiece and different than the other. The cocktails are fantastic as well. Plates are perfectly sized l for two and small portions so you can share and try many different plates. I've heard their menu changes daily so you get variety and their exquisite flavor profiles of dishes, drinks and desserts can truly be enjoyed. The peach topping was nice. I cant wait to go back and try the chicken and biscuits w/black pepper gravy. 10 out of 10 from overall experience.“

“I arrived in the morning on an international flight and took stock of my food and wine options. Most of the offerings in the Atlanta airport seem pretty much chain garbage and no good wine offerings. One Flew South fit the bill. I had the breakfast rice bowl (poached eggs, mushroom, kimchi etc.) with a glass of white burgundy. It hit the spot and the service was very friendly. Also, it was a chill vibe l inside which gave me a chance to mentally reset from the hustle and bustle outside. I'm glad I took a minute to find this place.“

“Downstairs service is super slow. They'll give you a few excuses why???. “If there's one word that describes this place perfectly, it's classy. The interior is modern and chic, with a gorgeous bar up against one wall of windows and the opposite wall full of cookbooks and other foodie books. All of the books are available for purchase, and there's also a table up front with Cherry Bombe and some other magazines/small books for purchase. We bought a book on Italian wines, and it came with a paper wrap sealed with a sticker, which was a nice touch. The food menu is streamlined, but every thing on it is done so well. We started with an order of the oysters with strawberry, basil, and lime mignonette as well as an order of the fries with tarragon mayo. The fries were piping hot and crispy- it was clear they had just come out of the fryer- and the tarragon mayo was a nice unusual twist. One of our mains was the French omelette, which was perfectly cooked and came topped with caviar with some herbed crème fraîche on the side. The other was the salmon, which came over a pea purée with carrot ribbons- it was the perfect spring dish. We ended with the toffee pudding, which was pretty small, but we enjoyed it. The food was pretty pricey, but felt worth it because everything was so well-made. The wine list is extensive, including selections by the glass- there was a nice range of options available, including different varietals/countries at different price points. Our server was knowledgeable and able to recommend pairings that went well with our food. Every member of the staff was so friendly and attentive, which we really appreciated. This was a really nice place to spend an hour or two!“
