“I ordered via DoorDash pickup. I had issues getting to the restaurant by the time my order was ready. When I finally got there, they had my food in a warmer so it was still hot when I picked it up. This alone already made me really like them because most of the time you would get cold food by the time you're home. Since we were staying in a hotel and have no microwave I was very thankful. Everything was packaged well. I got the chicken Tikka masala with jeera rice and the spicy chicken add on. The Tikka was on par with my favorite place back home and the spicy chicken had a green chili type of sauce on it and it was fantastic. If you like spicy and good flavor, I highly recommend it. Gave me a tingle of a burn but didn't linger which was nice. I also got the paratha bread which I have never had before and it was delightful. I would almost compare it to a croissant but flat. Very flaky and buttery and went extremely well with the chicken. 10/10 Thank you Sankranti for making my visit to town just a little more special.“

“If you are seeing this people, then there are 2 Bismillah cafes beside each other and people seem to be confusing them both up. I am writing the review for the smaller 1 storied bismillah cafe.
It looks deceiving as it is small and shabby and has a store on the other side of the wall. This small cafe is run by a Bangladeshi man and the guy is good. The food is even better.
I ordered 2 lamb shanks and 2 chicken samosas and it came out to 37 dollars with tax. The lamb shank was mind blowing, it was just too good. I told him to make it extra spicy and the Indian in me just loved it.
I am going back again once I have enough money and have worked out enough so that it would be like a reward for me.“

“This charming restaurant offers an authentic and wholesome experience. The service was friendly, and the food was excellent. We had the goat biryani and chicken with dosa combo, both packed with flavor. I also appreciate that they serve the food mostly on paper plates and bowls instead of Styrofoam or plastic. The mango lassi was a perfect finish. Can't wait to come back!

“Might have found my new go-to spot for Indian food in the A. The samosas are wonderful and a good size, their vegan burrito was absolutely fire, and their vegan bowl was amazing. Tried 3 things thus far and they’ve been 3 for 3. Will definitely be back to try more.“

“We got the dinner for 2 and WOW at the amount of food we got. The service was absolutely phenomenal and very thoughtful. When we asked for to go boxes our server thought out what we had left and selected perfect containers for everything. We enjoy hot food, we got the hot level of spice and it was perfect. I would not have gone hotter. Even the water was good! We will 100% be back. Unfortunately it is not letting me add the pictures, but HIGHLY recommend.“

“The food was very delicious—but we were overcharged for a few items—didn’t notice until we got home (we were driving through the area). I tried multiple times contacting the restaurant with no success—so this made our experience less than wonderful. Watch what you are charged afterwards“

“I did order chicken tikka biryani it’s not biryani but taste to good I did check the garlic naan because some put burn pictures but it’s too good and soft but pls next time with biryani give yogurt 8 oz not chatni small box all good next time I come again here thanks“

“Stopped in my 1st time at Ponce CM and asked the young lady behind the counter for a spicy recommendation. She recommended a chicken dish (Taco, I forgot exact menu name) and I was blown away by the taste! Highly recommended!“
