We had SO many compliments from our guests about how amazing the food was-- the food was very fresh and tasty and such a beautiful display! “This was our second time visiting a Tin Lizzy’s, but first time visiting the Midtown location. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. The hostess noticed a couple of the menus hadn’t been cleaned recently and quickly changed them out for us. Sure they weren’t clean, but that level of attentiveness was greatly appreciated. We started with the Three Amigos appetizer. The lady ordered the Cantina Skillet, and I had the Cowboy Skillet (pictured). Every bite of this dish is full of flavor! It’s super filling as well, I took about half to go. Definitely recommend adding Tin Lizzy’s to your list of places to grabe some grub!“

A lot has changed in 24 years, but one thing that has not changed is that there is a line out the door about every single time I'm there. Now I'm standing in that line with people that weren't even born when the restaurant opened, surrounded by luxurious buildings and businesses that were once just vacant industrial space. I'm not big on always getting the same thing at a restaurant . . . . except for here. One fish taco, one fried chicken taco, and absolutely the shrimp poblano corn chowder. . . I've been eating that since it was on the menu at Sundown Cafe back in 1996. I don't live in Atlanta anymore, but every time I'm back, there's at least one trip to Taqueria del Sol, and it's not even just for the nostalgia.“

“Won’t lie I wasn’t a huge fan of Superica. I preferred Little Reys over them however, After yesterday they have won my business and I would definitely go back. Me and my partner split the Parrilla deluxe and split it. It brings 3 brochetas shrimp, with steak, cooked to your preference and chicken. I got my steak medium well but would probably go for well done next time because I don’t like the fatty part of steak. It was good and the food came out very hot. (my Picture doesn’t it justice but you can see the steam from the food.) it comes with guacamole, sour cream, charro beans, and cheese you can also pick corn or flour tortillas. We picked both tried both and very good. The flour tortillas are huge compared to the corn. Definitely a good amount of food for two people We also had 3 different cocktails. I personally recommend the Highwayman if you want something good but strong. I also had the Ginger Margarita and the Jalapeño Margarita. I would rather drink here than any other place in the battery. My only recommendation is we would a bigger sized portion of sides such as guac, sour cream, etc.“

Typically, I was greeted fairly quickly from the "runner" with chips and salsa and a drink but waited waaay too long to have my order taken by the waitstaff. Granted, they were a bit busy but a solid 18 minutes before my order was taken and sent to the kitchen is a real problem. That meant the to-go orders that came in after I arrived were out the door long before my food made it to the table.However, redemption was at hand, and the food was very good, fresh and hot. The order was correct, complete, tasty and the portions were generous on my specially ordered tacos. The bean dip was a treat as well. Finally, you know how so many restaurants seem not to care about whether or not their tea is actually good, fresh and not too sweet? Everytime I come the staff is always welcoming and super helpful. Stephen is so awesome he knows my order by heart I don't even have to tell him what I want he's already on it. “I have not been to Willy’s in years. I found a Willy’s gift card from 2017 and still had the receipt with it. I decided to bring it, but figured it had been way too long and really wasn’t expecting to be able to use it. The gentleman who made my food said he was going to the back to see what they could do. The manager not only honored the GC, but took care of the whole order. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and kind. The food tastes great and I will definitely not wait years to go back! I’ll be back soon with my kids too.“
