“We ordered from the Valentine’s Day menu. This was our first time eating here & we will definitely be back! The environment was welcoming & the service was excellent. Everything we ordered from the fried green tomatoes appetizer to the salad & then our entrees was delicious! We took the key lime pie to go & enjoyed it very much. Thank you for not only a marvelous meal but for caring for local farmers & supporting our community.”

“Let me tell you…FANTASTIC! Lived in the area for 8 years and had never been until today! Sumptuous from appetizer to dessert. We usually go to Longhorn but this place far exceeded all expectations and will be a new favorite. We got burgers and meatloaf. The kids fish sticks were amazing as well. If you haven’t tried this jewel 💎 you may want too!”

“My husband and I had a fantastic Friday date night at the Flying Trout. Southern hospitality at its finest from everyone. We had chicken and dumplings, seafood linguine and bourbon bread pudding. The food was excellent and each dish was plenty to eat. The menu was better than last year and the dress was casual to sharp casual. I was moved by the tribute to our Veterans and POW. They had a band on the back porch which made it feel like spring had arrived. We will be going back and will recommend our friends to do the same.”

“Great BBQ, however, I ate at the Rib Country in Cleveland 3-4 times a month with my family until you recently increased the prices. It was expensive before, but the BBQ was good. The price has officially become too outrageous for a family to eat out. Good luck with your business, but I will no longer eat at your establishment until the price can be reduced to a more reasonable rate.”

“Stopped by to get the White Christmas coffee that I saw on Facebook this morning while running some errands with my newborn. I decided to go in to check out the SAFE Christmas tree. The coffee was so good😍 and I had to get a chocolate chip muffin because it looked so good (and it was!). Love the atmosphere and the fact that they always do stuff to help the community. Needless to say my hands were full with a car seat and my bag, so one of the sweet girls behind the counter asked if she could carry my muffin and coffee out to the car to help! Will definitely be going here more often after this experience😊”

“Stopped by Mai Kai when visiting blairsville. Very neat business with an amazing owner. Coming from the Tampa Bay Area, it was a pleasant surprise to see a kava bar in such a remote location. If you’re in the area, definitely worth stopping by!”

“This is a fantastic little business that caters to families. The operators are friendly, fair, and provide a pleasant experience.The location is ripe for tacking the golf and ice cream onto the tail end of a BBQ lunch.If I were to make any suggestion about improvement, I'd say paint the place in flourescent colors and use black lights in the evening to add an extra degree of fun.We are moving to a new house about halfway between Bkue Ridge and Blairsville. We've already marked this place as a regular weekend pastime.”

“Chef Brian is a true sushi master, he has amazing sushi creations. The place is clean and you can tell the staff really cares about what they do. I've had sushi all over the states and this is one of the best spots.”

“this isn't against the employees, this is against the employer. My son was hired in their Tin Roof Creamery. The ad for the job (have a screen shot) said the pay range was between 26k to 28k a year. That is a minimum of 12.50 an hour. When my son got his first paycheck, it was on his pay stub as 9.50 an hour. When he asked his boss she said everyone has to pay taxes. Then he was fired for not paying for a cup of coffee. In my opinion that is a retaliatory firing because he inquired about his pay. They also pool tips which is not illegal but there has to be transparency in the process and they can only require them to pool a reasonable amount. In my opinion you are better off going to McDonald's to get a job.”

“First time going there and the gentlemen behind the counter was so kind. He went through the entire menu with me and had the sandwiches made super fast. The sandwiches were amazing. Fresh deli meat the causes were out of this world and the bread was perfect. Highly recommend!”

“7/3/2024 Excellent little self serve (or can order off the menu) deli inside a gas station at Owl Town. 4 tables in a nice setting. Had the Bacon Egg and cheese biscuit. Large biscuit with lots of bacon. Very pleased.”

“Cooks definitely has that small town feel in the best possible way. After a few vacations and house hunting trips, Cook's will be a a regular treat. After a handful of stops, I finally decided to try a burger.
No judging but I asked if they could make me a chili cheese burger. It really should be on the menu. I've eaten a lot of burgers in my lifetime and this is definitely in my top 5. The fries were great too.
The service has always been really good. To the tatted blonde lady who was our server....Thank you!!!
If you're a passer through like me, you should definitely try this place. For you locals, I hope you know what a gem this place is.”

“The mobile thru is last priority now versus how easy the process was before the "remodel". I watched 5 cars that ordered AFTER me in the drive thru get their food and drive while I waited over 15 minutes for a lemonade and and ice cup in the mobile thru line. This is the 4th time I've been here since they reopened and it's clear that something drastic has changed in their training, leadership, priorities (at least at the drive thru), etc.....”

“My bf and I went there today for the first time. He got shrimp tacos with sweet potato fries and I got the catfish sandwich with onion rings. We got the smoked salmon spread w crackers for our appetizer. The catfish fillet on my sandwich was huge and both my sandwich and his tacos were excellent. You just have to tell the cashier what you want on the sandwich (I did lettuce and tomato) the tartar sauce/cocktail sauce will be waiting at the table for you. Which I liked since most places don’t put enough tartar sauce for my liking, so I enjoyed the do it yourself aspect! The sweet potato fries were a much better option than the onion rings. Onion rings were more breading than onion. I wasn’t a fan of the hush puppies they tasted kinda bland. But like I said, shrimp tacos and catfish sandwich were perfect!! Also the smoked salmon spread was delicious!! We will def go back!! Want to try their 30 shrimp dinner!! (If you haven’t been here before, they have menus as you walk in and you place your order at counter. They give you a buzzer for your table so when it goes off you just hold it up so the waitress can see it and bring it to you. You can pick your own table. And if getting fountain drink/sweet tea/ coffee, you just go up and help yourself they have the cups there!)”

“Got the pork chops, they were very juicy. Husband got the chicken bites as his meal. The appetizer was plenty of food for a meal. The raspberry lemonade was very sweet and so good. Our server was very kind and checked on us regularly. The food came out quick. It was a pleasant experience.”
