“I visited this restaurant today! I came across it from a google search! I love it here. I had the normal experience while dining. The server was great! Food and drinks were good! My 5 star review comes from this: I left the restaurant. I’ve been congested for a while. So, I went to the car and used a nasal spray. The spray made me gag and appear to be vomiting. Lol. One of the girls came out of the restaurant with Club sodas to help me! She said she noticed I wasn’t feeling well and wanted to help! ?? My Goodness! I’m so thankful! I didn’t get a name, but I hope she sees this review. ☺️ Thank you, friend.“

“OMG food was excellent. I got the fried catfish which was fresh cooked, pintos, and greens. The waitress was super nice and you had the manager walking around asking if everything was OK. This is the only picture I got but yes I finished my plate.“
“My brother took us to Mr. Diddy while visiting him from out of town. The restaurant was very clean and the young lady who took our order was very helpful. I got the wings with fries and collard greens. My husband got the salmon with Mac and cheese and fried okra. We also ordered the soul rolls. My wings were very good as well as my fried. My collard greens were okay. My husband said his salmon was delicious. I ate the fried okra which was really good as well. The Mac and cheese were okay. The soul rolls were delicious! The sauce that came along with the soul rolls was good, but not quite sure if it goes with the rolls. Overall we enjoyed our food and would come back to the restaurant when visiting Georgia.“
“First time visit when a group of 16 men. Service was wonderful and the food was outstanding. Plenty of seating in a nice atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the chopped brisket sandwich with Brunswick stew side. Everyone talked about how good the food was. We will be back!“

“We have dined in and ordered takeout many times. We really enjoy the food and have tried multiple things. Tha mac and chz and greens are good. Meatloaf, burgers, pork chops have all been good. Definitely recommend for comfort food, there's only a few spots in the area with comfort food. This one is worth trying.“
“Love eating at Happy Hawg! ? We have been eating here since it opened years ago, and even after the owner retired and sold it, the food is the same and just as wonderful! It is definitely a family-friendly restaurant with lots of BBQ and fried catfish, shrimp, and other fish. I'm allergic to most saltwater fish, so I don't pay much attention to those names. Great sweet tea! Sweet servers and staff. A bit better priced now than it used to be. ?“

“When I first drove by I thought they were closed because I saw no cars in the parking lot. When I turned around I realized that they are open until 9pm and it was such a nice and cozy place to eat. My first meal was the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and a salad. Pecan pie for dessert.What can I say? It was such a good stop, and close to where I was going. “My family and I have eaten here 3 times in the last three months. It is located about a quarter of a mile from the Burn Center at the Wellstar Hospital for which we have driven over 100 miles each way to/from.The food is delicious, is very attractively displayed on the plate, and is very large portion sizes. There is a wide variety of items on the menu.The servers were always very friendly and polite. The general manager was super friendly, and checked on us to make sure that our mail was good, and that our service was great.What's my family find something they like on a menu, they tend to enjoy kidding again. We have enjoyed the chicken tender plate with sides, a delicious salad, and club sandwhich from there. We enjoyed the chicken tenders so much that we got them more than one time. Their specialty boom boom sauce and chipotle sauce is especially good with the tenders. One picture shows double fries. The hot, fresh rolls are amazing!One of the times we were there, we saw that they had a private area for large groups, whose group seemed to be having an excellent time and whose server appeared to be very attentive.We highly recommend this place.Parking: There is a private parking lot with plenty of spaces, including multiple spaces for handicap parking.Kid-friendliness: There is a kid menu, and the restaurants appears to be kid friendly. However, each of the three times we were there was during lunch on a school day, so we did not see children present.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is flat and level, and is easily accessible for those in a wheelchair or using a walker.“
“Being gluten-free, I tried the new nacho plate with pulled pork, it was so delicious and alot of food! My 2 adult sons had the same but could not eat it all even! You could easily share! My husband had a pork sandwich and enjoyed every bite. Our waitress was attentive and kept everything filled and fun.Dietary restrictions: I shared about a new nacho chip plate with pulled pork that was a refreshing change and really delish.“

“I’m from NJ and grew up on Philly Cheesesteak that every time I go home for a visit I have to get me one which has been a while so I googled and found this quaint little spot which to my surprise was actually good , the bread was fresh and loaded with meat the cheese they used was an American Swiss blend although i never had it like that I still gave them a try the cheese basically tasted like white American cheese and didn’t hurt the sandwich . Only suggestion I have this them would be to just have some provolone or mozzarella for those of us that like it and to cut the sandwich in half . I will definitely be back because the food was good the establishment was clean and the staff or owners was very nice! Thanks for keeping your promise you did not disappoint me at all.“
