“We came here for lunch and it did not disappoint. This place will satisfy your hunger for Korean food. We came for lunch and got the Korean Fried Chicken lunch special and Bulgogi Quesadilla. The lunch special was a feast, it came with 7 different items. I felt I was at a Korean Thanksgiving! A salad, main course of KFC, a soupy, a vegetable dumpling, a beef one, fried rice, and a fried veggie. It was all so filling. Easily the best thing was the KFC, the flavor and quality were phenomenal. The dumplings were solid. The only thing I didn't like was the friend rice. It was very bland, and only took two bites. The quesadilla had soooo much meat, not the best I've had, but really solid. The ambience is very casual, close to a fast casual feel but with waiters. I see this more as a lunch spot, or a lets not get dressed up and somewhere kind of place. Don't get to excited about the robot server. It's kind of a gimmick and needs a human escort. Wasn't nearly as cool as I thought it might be. Bottom line great place to get your Korean fix. I would definitely come back if I lived on that side of town.“

“I absolutely loveeeeeee this place. Let me tell you the meat? Superb, fresh. Customer service even better we were taken care of by Jason, Paul & Katie they are amazinggggg! Me and my girls came to celebrate my birthday and it was a great experience! This will definitely be our new spot! It’s $45 for a whole spread of appetizers, soft drinks including endless refills and as many choices of meats as you want! The $45/person is worth it!!!! We went to the Buford location“

“LOVE this place, the staff are awesome and the bbq is super flavorful. Perfect weekend activity; pick up some brisket and Mac & cheese and then drive 2 minutes over to the Cochran Shoals trail to picnic on the Chattahoochee River. Be sure to add kimchi mayo for dipping sauces!“

“My girlfriend and I had a great time. When you come ask for Cody, Kevin, and Jason. They were great, attentive, and we had great conversations. The service was amazing and we’ll definitely be back soon. If you’re looked for good food, service, and atmosphere all baked into one experience come here!“

“We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The ambiance is nice and it is not the usual Korean cafe vibe that you may find on Buford highway but more of an upscale setting, with surprisingly traditional Korean dishes. We had the ojingo bokem, some spicy noodles, and the best seafood pancake we have ever had. It was thick and cooked crispy with plenty of seafood! I ordered an old fashioned that was pretty good as well. The service was prompt and friendly. We arrived an hour before their closing time and they were kind and did not rush us We will definitely be back. Go see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.“

“Service was good .. staff were so friendly and accommodating even though we went during closing hours on a Friday .. they even gave some complimentary noodles on the side for the delay .. only disappointment is with the sauce .. we wanted something spicy but all the sauces they have are only mild .. and the one we ordered is chefs secret which is supposed to be sweet and spicy.. but it was more sweet than the spice .. chicken was nicely cooked“

“This is a tasty Korean place in Chamblee. The A1 and B1 combo plates are a great value, and so satisfying. Our kids were thrilled to see Aloe Vera drinks on the menu, and of course, Sac Sac Grape! Our food was ready quickly, and the Kimbap, Gimmari, Beef Bulgogi, and Gochoo Chicken were all delicious.“

“I have tried their steak bulgogi and spicy chicken so far. The taste for the steak bulgogi is decent, a bit sweeter than traditional. But their spicy chicken platter is WOW. The spice and the sweetness is spot on. Their cucumber ban chan is addicting. I would love larger size options for the ban chan! I think the price is very fair for the portions. I will continue to be back.“

“This was fun experience and the food was amazing! Portions were good for minimal waste and there were lots of sauce options for cooking. We opted to get the Hot Pot and the BBQ, but you can certainly pick one or the other. We will definitely be going back! Also our waitress Sam was very attentive we enjoyed her service!“

“I'm not sure how this does not have a higher rating - we landed here on a time crunch, after trying to visit another establishment that was not moving fast. We are so glad we tried Salaryman! Great, welcoming staff, chill atmosphere, and delicious food. The rock shrimp app was perfect, my guava cocktail amazing, and our main meal absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend.“

“Japanese with a Korean flair. Great prices + great quality + _extremely_ great service. Surprisingly, they’ve been a “near-kept secret” in Atlanta for nearly 50 years. (Since 1970?)We’ve been eating here & picking up more-and-more regularly for only the past 3 years.“

“The food is fantastic! It is absolutely wonderful and delicious in every way. It's actually probably some of the best sushi I've had in a really long time. They have some rolls with all fresh ingredients that are very well constructed, but i also noticed that they're quite generous because in every piece there was a generous amount of ingredients in there. While it's not an overly large role, you can notice the little things such as the roles that had fish on top flowed around and down the sides rather than just a small piece on top. The staff is very friendly and accommodating . The only maybe slight detractor is the price. They probably do price where most restaurants should and the price is good for the quality that you get, but it is a bit more expensive than any of the other sushi restaurants in the near vicinity. That'll probably keep me from returning often, but overall the food is so good, I will certainly be returning.“

“I’m impressed every time I come here. First off their lychee martini is one of the best in atlanta! Super tasty and strong. Their sushi apps and rolls are divine. So fresh and really creative pairings. I just brought my sushi loving husband here for date night and he absolutely loved it too. The miso cod blew our mind!! 10/10 recommend this spot!!!“

“Great spot to get authentic Korean food on Buford Highway. The staff was definitely overworked when I visited for lunch and took a little longer than expected to bring the check, but otherwise the service is always attentive and helpful. The food is delicious, I’ve tried the bulgogi bowl as well as the kimchi jiggae (both excellent). I love the little array of appetizers they bring out at the beginning, especially the tofu and green beans. Highly recommend!“

“Sushi Mania is my go to sushi spot north of the perimeter! The customer service and food is outstanding, and it won't cost you an arm and a leg. My favorite items on the menu so far include the fried beef gyoza, and the snow cone sushi roll. I'm drooling just thinking about it. Definitely recommend this spot if you're in the mood for sushi.“

“Ironically, next to the Chick-fil-A to the left is the greatest corndog I've ever had and I don't even like corndogs! Mr. cow. My first introduction to this wonderful tasty treat was in Hawaii. Each location has different offerings. This one has milkshakes honey do something blue and banana. They also have mochi donuts. I'm so glad they have this here and I can satisfy my weird corndog cravings. I don't eat any other kind of corndog by the way! But this one is worth it“

“Excellent!! Ordered Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken and Bulgogi. Probably the best fried chicken I have eaten: tender and moist, and I love the way they cut up the chicken, really maximizes the crust to meat ratio. Bulgogi was good and came with more than I had expected: rice, kimchi, bean sprouts, broccoli salad and a single dumpling. All very good, we will be back soon.“

“First time at Monkey68 and it did not disappoint. Martinis were excellent size, cold and full (which doesn't always happen), the tuna and salmon tartare was fantastic, calamari was crispy but not chewy with a great dipping sauce and our sushi rolls were excellent. Don't recall the names of the rolls ordered but both had very fresh sushi and were very tasty... See pictures. The one with the cucumber wrap instead of rice was over the top, one of the best I've had.We found this restaurant as it was a very nice day and wanted sushi while sitting outside AND we didn't want to sit in a parking lot like most sushi places have. It was a very nice patio and we thoroughly enjoyed and got the mold perfectly. Service was also excellent. We will be back.“

“It was ok but I’ve had better Korean food in Atlanta. I’d say the seafood pancake felt over fried (almost felt like fried chicken…) so personally I don’t recommend especially give the ~$25 price. Squid dish was decent and spicy. Banchan was good/inline with other Korean restaurants. The location is in the backroad of a weird mall (I gotta say it’s a bit “shady”, but adventurous…). Small space - prolly 8-10 tables? Customer service was better than most. Prices were fair. Overall not my favorite Korea place in Atlanta but certainly not a bad choice either.“
“First time here, had a delicious meal. I got the beef soup (Wang galbi wooguji galbitang) with two huge bones of beef and cabbage soup. I'm a fan. It was really good, and also plentiful. I took half of it home and had another meal. The banchan was pretty good and service was great. My friend got the kimchi jjigae and it was also very good. I'll definitely be back to try other items!“

“Absolutely fantastic. All the ingredients were super fresh and flavorful. I had the beef butter soup base, and it perfectly balanced between spicy and buttery umami goodness. I have not tried the KBBQ there yet, but if it's as good as the hot pot I will be in KBBQ heaven.Dietary restrictions: Individual hot pots, so you can take family members who have restrictions while still enjoying your own food. Also all ingredients are clearly labeled.“

“I thoroughly enjoyed our server Stephanie; she was fantastic. Be aware that if you choose both the hot pot and the Korean BBQ, you might not be able to explore one side of the menu. We were so satisfied that we couldn't even consider ordering from the other side. We're looking forward to visiting again this weekend. It was truly delicious!“

“K Bop caught my interest when searching for a quick Asian spot to grab dinner with outdoor seating. The restaurant was quiet when we entered but it was simple, quaint and casual. We ordered at the counter before waiting at a table inside (it got too dark and cold outside). We ordered the Rose Tteokbokki and the K Dup Bop with spicy mixed seafood. They were served in to-go containers with plastic silverware. Both were pretty tasty and hit the spot - I was surprised they had Rose Tteokbokki on their menu but loved it - the creamy spicy sauce was perfect with the chewy rice cakes. The K Dup Bop was pretty hearty - filled with the greens, saucy seafood mix and topped with a perfectly fried egg. I don't think either dish is something I would normally crave but both hit the spot. I would summarize and describe K Bop as a fast casual Korean restaurant but it doesn't make the food taste any less authentic at all. They didn't have an instagram account at the time of my visit but looks like they started one since then @kbop_korean_kitchen. It doesn't appear active, it was just a single photo dump, but thankfully the restaurant is still active. Even so, I definitely recommend if you're looking for some quick and easy Korean food on this side of Chamblee.“

“Just stopped by that new Korean spot next to Teso and wow, was I impressed! The dubu tofu soup was absolutely delicious—flavorful, with just the right amount of heat. Plus, it's a great value for the amount of food you get. Two thumbs up!“

“I have a few things to share that are highlighted....The macaroons you can buy at the front cake/sweets shop are amazing. They are beautiful and delicious. Super fluffy! The service is amazing! Our server was so great. Helped with selections. Brought us smaller portions of things so that we could try more. Helped with the cooking. Brought all the sides. Just was excellent. We tried the higher all you can eat and tried so many sides....salad, Kim chi, cheese corn, fried dumplings. KFC, Kim chi fried rice, rice cakes....all were excellent. We also tried the pork belly, the spicy shrimp, the waygu short ribs and brisket. All the meats were excellent. This was one of my favorite Korean BBQ places! We also did not leave smelling like a BBQ. Their ventilation was great!“

“I love the food here but the service is chaotic and it's disorganized. Has not stopped me from going there but it's frustrating to watch them scramble to try and figure out who ordered what. And then to see your food ready but the chaotic process means you'll get it in 10 minutes. But the food is great. Fix the chaotic process and I'd probably visit more.“

“The food and service were amazing. Brought my boyfriend here for the first time and Miss Cha was super helpful and showed us how to combine all of the ingredients. They use traditional charcoal grills which is the preferred way and gives the food a nice flavor. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend others come here for an authentic experience!“

“I got their number 29. Soondae soup on a busy Saturday around 1 pm. The food took about 10-15 minutes to come out but was fine since I had to find a seat anyways. My entree came with 3 banchans and a standard portion bowl of rice. This was my first time trying soondae and although I liked the taste, the texture was a little disappointing as it was more noodles than blood or meat. Overall, I enjoyed the meal especially as the woman at the register was friendly but efficient at taking and dispensing orders. I would come again to try more from their menu.“

“This five stars is for Boris specifically, he made our experience extraordinary! Boris is a REAL one, an ATL GEM. Where Boris goes we will follow. We stand by him. And this location would be in shambles without him, consider him a backbone, a hot pot legend. This location should invest in a cloning machine to have nothing but Boris' servers. If you aren't getting Boris as your server, you are missing out. Boris deserves the world.“

“Great food, great service, but it was a literal construction zone today. Dude running a sander and banging on the walls. Operate the heavy machinery before opening or after closing. “Pleasant, upscale space with good food and service. This is an open space with lots of natural wood and natural light. It's well coordinated and designed. Also, it has some private party areas. The service was quick and pleasant. They speak English well enough to answer detailed questions. The menu is large with a good bit of variety. It has pictures and brief explanations in English. It is not enough to address dietary concerns, but otherwise it's very helpful. The meal starts with some complimentary ramekins of assorted items like kimchi, marinated cucumbers, marinated sprouts, etc.I had something called bulgogi fries, which, on the menu, looks like some flame broil beef on fries. Actually it was what most places would call loaded fries with lots of cheese and fries that seemed to have that little bit of wheat coating. There were streams of ketchup and mayo across them.I also ordered beef short ribs, which were good. They were served on cast iron, kind of like fajitas but with soy sauce. I was looking for a chunk of tender beef. Instead, these were slices of beef rib that were tasty but chewy. This cut is more common in Asian and Latino restaurants as opposed to the big rib or chunk of meat you might see in American restaurants. On another visit I had pork bibimbap which has a variety veggies and some pork over steamed rice. All of this is on sizzling cast iron. It was a tasty and filling. Also, I had the sodduk sodduk. Its tiny sausage and rice links skewered with a spicy sauce. It interesting but not my favorite dish.If you don't have dietary concerns, this is a good date spot. It is the pleasant space with some nice background music and feels a little upscale. Additionally, the appetizer of fries is huge, so you can order it and let her steal as many as she likes.Dietary restrictions: You'd have to get to know this place to order gluten-free or soy-free meals. I ordered something that, on the menu, looks like fries with beef and onions in it, and it was loaded with cheese. The menu doesn't have a lot of labels about what is in food. There's lots of soy sauce, which often means gluten.Parking: The parking lot is free, but busy.“

“The restaurant is separated in two sections, main dining and Korean bbq grills. The Korean bbq option my friends and I got was some of the best quality beef we've had in a while. This place also gets pretty busy so if you want to try this place out either come early or prepare to wait.“

“BBQ chicken is one of the most famous Korean fried chicken in Korea. To me, I personally like this place better than any other Korean chicken restaurant out there since the sauces are better, and the fried chickens are crisper than others. “Interesting fusion restaurant of Korean and Mexican. Fast food/sit down. They offer burrito, bowls and tacos with Korean meat options such as bulgogi, chicken, spicy pork, etc. My favorite part of the meal were the French fries. They are seasoned with a little bit of sugar, which adds a lot to the flavor. My burrito was good;however I didn't realize the entrees come with gochujang spicy sauce by default. I'm not the biggest fan of gochujang and think I'd prefer my meal without it. Service was friendly and restaurant was relatively clean. I'd go back for the fries“
