“Hands down, the best sushi I've ever had. They incorporate truffle oil in some of their rolls and if you like truffle, you cannot go wrong. Very savory. I'd recommend the avocado balls, crunchy spicy tuna roll and the snow crab in miso soup. The truffle aioli salmon appetizer is another hit. The cocktails - Wow! Thai Me Up is a their version of a spicy margarita but they use some sort of oil and it is delicious! I'll be craving that drink for a long time. It's not cheap but if you're looking for a treat or have a special occasion, it's a full recommend from me! Thank you goes out to Kelly, our server, who steered us towards the fantastic dish selections.“

“We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The ambiance is nice and it is not the usual Korean cafe vibe that you may find on Buford highway but more of an upscale setting, with surprisingly traditional Korean dishes. We had the ojingo bokem, some spicy noodles, and the best seafood pancake we have ever had. It was thick and cooked crispy with plenty of seafood! I ordered an old fashioned that was pretty good as well. The service was prompt and friendly. We arrived an hour before their closing time and they were kind and did not rush us We will definitely be back. Go see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.“

“My husband and I love this place! The sushi here is unique and top notch! The ambiance is low-lit, almost speakeasy-ish. We always get the legally blonde and a star is born. You have to get a star is born. It’s delicious. Mama Mia is also really good.Lychi martini is their best drink in my opinion.Sticky toffee cake for dessert. You can never go wrong here. They never miss.“

“I'm not sure how this does not have a higher rating - we landed here on a time crunch, after trying to visit another establishment that was not moving fast. We are so glad we tried Salaryman! Great, welcoming staff, chill atmosphere, and delicious food. The rock shrimp app was perfect, my guava cocktail amazing, and our main meal absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend.“

“Sushi is definitely fresh. The roll combinations are interesting and unique. They have a lot of different flavors combined together which may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but is fun to try. Being in a small restaurant makes it even more intimate. Service is friendly and welcoming.“

“Having tried thoroughly enjoyed our omakase experiences at Mujo and Hiyakawa we have been trying to find other similar experiences in Atlanta. I am happy to report that Brush's omakase did not disappoint. The service was outstanding. Both the servers and the chef spent generous amounts of time talking with us and making sure we had everything we needed/wanted.We did the 16 course menu and it was the perfect amount a food and I would say it is a better value when compared to Mujo or Hiyakawa. I would say the atmosphere sits in between those two. Mujo having a very chill comfortable vibe and Hiyakawa being more like a museum and culinary course. At Brush you get a more chill vibe and can get as little or as much information you want to the meal. I would also say that Brush is much less overbearing on the rules than either Mujo and Hiyakawa which was very nice. The quality of the fish and dishes were amazing. Brush has a unique rice and some unique presentations that the other places don't have. All things considered I think Brush my be the best overall place (accounting for price, comfort and experience). The only draw back of the omakase experience for me is the the space in not an intimate as the other spots I have mentioned. You can definitely tell you are in Buckhead.“

“Party of 8, we had a private room right at the front desk. The foods were amazing. The menu is very extensive, love the colorful photos. The dishes came out just like the photos. We tried everything. Fishes were high quality. Rolls were great. Vegetables tempura were very good, the shrimp tempura was average. The soft shell crab salad was a favorite, so was the toro. Desserts were awesome. 2 thumbs up.“

“Simply the best Ramen in the area, we lived in downtown Los Angeles and used to go to his location on 8th st. This is my Favorite ramen place, my wife’s is Okiboru in Atlanta and my kids is Tatsu in West Los Angeles. I go back and forth between Okiboru and Slurping, I guess I’ll have to keep trying both“

“I personally LOVED this place. Everything we ordered from appetizers to rolls to desserts were all a delight! I usually don't lean towards sushi rolls, but these are some of the best I've had! The garlic pepper toro roll and the 24k roll were both 5/5 stars! Everything we ordered we loved! The desert here is amazing as well! Service was good and attentive, parking here is Valet only so keep that in mind!“

“Japanese with a Korean flair. Great prices + great quality + _extremely_ great service. Surprisingly, they’ve been a “near-kept secret” in Atlanta for nearly 50 years. (Since 1970?)We’ve been eating here & picking up more-and-more regularly for only the past 3 years.“

“We were craving for sushi and decided to try this well-established restaurant that has been around for 30+ years. It was a very cute place tucked behind a shopping plaza. For appetizers we got the shrimp teriyaki and the Kara-Age chicken, which was the perfect starter while we waited for our entrees. For entrees we got the salmon sashimi, spicy tuna roll, caterpillar roll and the sukiyaki dinner. The sukiyaki dinner came with salad, miso soup and a bowl of rice. The salmon sashimi was extremely fresh and melted in my mouth. The servings were very generous and we did not leave hungry. The owner/staff were very nice and treated us like family.“

“TLDR: If you like supporting small businesses that serve good food, come this place y'all. Food: the nigiri is some of THE BEST I've had. Make sure to order the scallop hand roll. I didn't take a picture of it unfortunately, but it looked beautiful and I got too excited and ate it too fast lmao. Smoked salmon nigiri and tuna roll were also great. Service: kindly greeted by the chef and he personally came up to us to serve us the food at the end to teach a little bit of Japanese food culture. He is a sweet man. Waiter also frequently checked on us. Ambiance: clean, simplistic decor, and standard.“

“Seriously the best food from this type of cuisine. The service was impeccable, they take your drink and food order almost as soon as you are seated. If you ever forgot to order something, it's like the staff can sense it and come running to your table to accompany your request. And on top of everything, the meals are SO cheap and for SUCH large portions. I leave with leftovers every single time. Sometimes I forget them in the restaurant, and my waiter ran outside to bring them out to me, TWICE. 10/10!“

“The food is fantastic! It is absolutely wonderful and delicious in every way. It's actually probably some of the best sushi I've had in a really long time. They have some rolls with all fresh ingredients that are very well constructed, but i also noticed that they're quite generous because in every piece there was a generous amount of ingredients in there. While it's not an overly large role, you can notice the little things such as the roles that had fish on top flowed around and down the sides rather than just a small piece on top. The staff is very friendly and accommodating . The only maybe slight detractor is the price. They probably do price where most restaurants should and the price is good for the quality that you get, but it is a bit more expensive than any of the other sushi restaurants in the near vicinity. That'll probably keep me from returning often, but overall the food is so good, I will certainly be returning.“

“We had a party of 4 for dinner at 7:45 pm on Monday, 3/25/24. We were seated right away. Plenty of parking. Quick service. Very chill, especially on a Monday night. I wore leggings and sneakers—very casual. We all split 2 appetizers and 7 rolls and it was the perfect amount of food. We could’ve gotten away with only 1 appetizer. We got Gyoza and Edamame, which were both great. For sushi, we got New Paige, Lambada, Pink Lady, Geisha, Tiger Eye, Home Depot, Super Crunch. The New Paige was definitely our favorite. The only one I personally wouldn’t get again was Tiger Eye. But seriously, everything was amazing. It came out to $32 per person, which is super reasonable. We all agree that we can’t wait to go back! Highly, highly recommend!“

“Now this is how you do sushi! I booked the lunch omakase for a birthday gift to myself and it did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in the door, the service is great. The hostess was extremely nice and helpful. She explained everything and when it came to add on she was informative and not pushy. The space is super cute. There is the food bar where the chef is making the sushi. There is also a smaller bar in the back. In the middle is a sitting area with a couch and chairs. The music matched the experience. You can tell this was well thought out. The food! The best sushi I have ever had. The flow of the menu was perfection. From the refresher to the dessert. At the end the chef made sure to talked to each customer and ask about their experience. I can not wait to go back. Run , don't walk, to try this place out. You will fall in love with sushi.“

“We felt like Chinese food today and came to visit. Unknowingly, until we pulled up, it was my 2nd time here. We ordered the house lo mein, crispy half duck, hunan calamari, and tempura calamari and veggies. That lo mein?!.... omg so good! ? the crispy duck is always good. My son ordered the 2 calamari dishes and barely ate them. His most complaint was about the tempura calamari, he said it taste like fried air... so no seasoning. I liked the tempura veggies with the yum yum. And the hunan was good too. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice. Not a lot of people so we got our food fairly quick.“

“First time in, came for lunch. We eat at Hajime in Buckhead a lot. The service was over the top. They watch and anticipate your needs. I put my purse on the floor the manager brought a basket over to put it in. I had a nice shirt on and I always ended up splattering broth on it so I tucked a napkin in my collar to cover myself and the manager brought me a plastic bib and extra napkins. He knew exactly why I was doing that. Lol. The waitress was very lovely. Bought extra water in a to go cup for my hot green tea. The ramen was very good! Was an outstanding dining experience. Highly recommend.“

“Sushi Mania is my go to sushi spot north of the perimeter! The customer service and food is outstanding, and it won't cost you an arm and a leg. “Ru Sans is a ever evolving restaurant. The relatively new ownership has only improved an already great quality restaurant that has more of a friendly neighborhood feel. It has traditional Japanese sushi but many American friendly additions have been made over the years to the menu. I recommend it now more than ever.Parking: The Tower Place parking deck is paid parking but Ru Sans validates for 2 hours free“

“Our first dining experience here. We felt like we were eating in a cherry blossom garden. Fresh fish and flavor combinations we haven’t seen before. Lots of choices, beautifully plated. Everything we ordered was delicious and the staff is very attentive and nice. Can’t believe this gem has been in the middle of Sandy Springs for several years and we just found it. They also have a large outdoor patio that we will try on our next visit, soon.“

“They fixed it when I went back to get a refund.I ordered vegetable pho with tofu. I might as well have ordered veggies only because there was barely any tofu. I asked if this was the correct serving size for tofu and they said yes. I’m not ever coming back to this restaurant. For the same price, you get more at Pho 24 across the street. I should’ve went there instead of trying something new.“

“Very solid sushi choice! We sat on the patio which had a very lovely koi pond along with a pellet machine to feed the fish! The interior looked very cute too. We split edamame which was decent. For entree, I got the Crispy Soy Roll which was amazing!! Great quality and flavor. My friend got the tofu appetizer and hibachi rice. The portions were huge! We also did ginger side salads and they were the biggest side salads I have ever gotten. You definitely get bang for your buck with everything. To drink I got wine and she did the sangria. It was too sweet for my liking but perfect for her. Service was admittedly a bit slow and there were some errors, but everyone was very kind, especially the front desk hostesses who offered us some change to feed the koi fish! Overall this is a great option especially if you're looking for sushi.“

“Alex was our bartender and he, alone, was AMAZING, let alone the cocktails he was serving!! The Yuzu was INCREDIBLE. 12/10 recommend! ??? The food sushi was perfect, we had zero complaints. SO GOOD! “Very pleasantly surprised by how good this place was. We started with Calamari which is fresh and crisp. The portion isn't large overall but the slices are large. We had the Belly roll and the Mika roll. Both were very good but the Mika roll stood out as it was unique and crisp. I prefer raw sushi but this roll is great. We also tried their hand rolls which is something I haven't had anywhere else. Spicy tuna and smoked salmon were both very good. The prices are about on par with other sushi restaurants. Regular rolls start at $14 and go up to $20. Definitely can't eat here as an individual for under $20. Calimari app. 2 rolls. 3 hand rolls. Japanese soda. Large sipporo. Desert. All of that was around $95.Overall I'd definitely go back as they had some unique options and the quality was outstanding. The ambiance is quite good as well.Kid-friendliness: This is a chill restaurant so if your kids are well behaved, take them. If not, no one wants to listen to your bratty kids while enjoying quality food. ; )“

“I was on a quick lunch break so I placed my order online and went in to pick it up. When I arrived my order was already to go the server Tar’Sheika made sure everything was correct and to my liking before letting me walk out the door. She insured I had enough sauces and even offered me a Togo beverage. Usually when I order take out at places the servers aren’t that attentive. “Our server Ora was very sweet and nice! She made our dinner more enjoyable:)Before I came in, I didn’t have much expectation because I usually don’t think all you can eat sushi can have good quality. BUT this place exceeded my expectations! The sashimi and nigiri quality cannot be better. They cut a big thick chunk of sashimi for AYCE! Special Rolls were also so good as they were stuffed with thick and high quality fish and light rice. I think this place is better quality than most of non-AYCE sushi places!I saw some negative reviews about this place, but I think maybe they are competitors of this place XDI will definitely bring my friends here someday! Thank you❤️“

“Was there a management change recently?? I got the Yum Yum Shrimp and Chicken lo mein yesterday and neither was what I have gotten before. The yum yum shrimp were basically over battered small shrimp with a side of sauce in a container. This was not at all what I’ve ordered before. The chicken in the lo mein usually is very chunky, juicy and very flavorful, therefore putting it a step above other Chinese takeout places. This was not the case this time. It looked and tasted like every other takeout spot. The chicken was shaved very thin, had no flavor and there were way too many vegetables mixed in. Very disappointed and won’t be going back.“
