“This place ROCKS! I've been to many seafood wholesalers that really smelled of strong seafood...this place did not. It was very clean and tidy. The restroom was very clean. As we waited for our food, which was prepared, breaded, and fried right in front of us, a worker was wiping down glass display fronts as well as table and counter tops. The cashier who took our order was the most pleasant lady. All of these things are great but not why I came...I wanted good food and I was not disappointed. My fried shrimp was amazing; perfectly seasoned and cooked - no rubbery shrimp. The sauces were to-die-for. My wife's grilled shrimp was just as good. We will be back. Thank you for a great meal.“

Our server smiled the entire time, and was very patient with the kids and constant things we needed.The food was delicious, and you are served honey butter croissants as you wait to eat. Those crunchy croutons really rock! The refreshing bite-sized cut-up fruit dishes are an additional favorite, as well as a healthy dessert choice. The only entree I don’t personally care for is the fried salmon patties. ( In my culinary opinion. they need more chopped onions and lemon juice in the mix to cut the fishy flavor.) However, many diners relish them topped with white gravy. I just cannot say enough good comments about this fine eatery and the quality individuals who frequent here. Come sample their cafeteria-style offerings. Many local people frequent this hot spot daily with good reason. Their food is great. You will not be disappointed.“

I always get the baked potato with pork on top. the place is usually busy even if you go early. with any BBQ restaurant what you are looking for may not be available. it takes a while to prepare and cook the food. make sure you have a second option incase that happens. all the food is good.“

Any time I'm near Haydees I make sure to stop in and eat as they have more than earned my business.The fresh handmade tortillas are a treat and I could just eat them as a meal. The red salsa provided on the table has good heat with a nice garlic taste. The green salsa pairs well with beef and milder compared to the red salsa.The staff is incredible. They're extremely friendly and on top of their game to ensure you are well taken care of during your visit. Even if you are just getting food to go, they are super sweet and conversational.The restaurant is always clean and orderly. Even when it's bustling with customers, they keep it top-notch clean, all the while attending to the patrons dining in at the same time.The only issue I have is parking, it's a small, tight lot and depending on when you visit you'll struggle to find parking. When you do visit just make note of the time and the parking lot, so you can avoid busy times and slip in and out for a meal.If you're in the area, I definitely recommend them if you enjoy good home cooked authentic Mexican food. “Grew up eating biscuit barn. Makes me feel proud to be from around here. I always loved showing people my favorite breakfast spot and it still brings back memories of my dad leaving me a biscuit in our microwave for me to wake up to on the weekends.My granddad, back when he could drive, would come up to hickory pig (their other restaurant in the same building) and get a cup of pulled pork with no sauce just about every single day.These are good people that run these shops and they make damn good food. A lot has changed around this area since I was little, but biscuit barn has stayed the same good prices, good people, and good food ever since.It's not for everyone but my favorite meal is a fried spam biscuit, a butter biscuit, and an oj. Sometimes I'll get me a pb&j biscuit or even a chicken biscuit and put some peanut butter on it. Nothing makes me feel as good as opening up that paper sack and pulling out a fresh hot biscuit in the morning.No matter what you fill it with, or even if you like it plain, I hope you'll come give this place a try and maybe it'll become part of your lifelong memories too. Maybe nostalgia has something to do with it but no matter what city, state, or country I'm in... I aint never had a biscuit make me smile as big or feel as good as one from the biscuit barn.“

“Quaint authentic Mexican restaurant. Having lived 6 years in Mexico, I know authentic! I ordered the Torta Regia. LOADED with refried beans, pineapple, country fried thin steak, lettuce, tomato, avacado, jalapeño, and panela cheese. SO GOOD!Very friendly staff. Google says they're open until 9pm. We showed up just before 8. We realized they were closing after we ordered, but they were super friendly and not annoyed at us. All the staff wore masks, and wore them PROPERLY. Very happy about that. We don't live in Gainesville, but we will come back!!“
