“A friend of mine brought me Biscuit Express a couple of rainy mornings! So I'm not experienced with their service. I can tell you that their sausage biscuits a wonderful! The biscuit was perfect, not too small, not too large, just right. And it was delicious. Also, I had a breakfast bowl! Yummy, Yummy, as well! And y'all, the low price of the food was what got me. It was less than $15 for three people to have breakfast biscuits.“

“I went to update my driver's license in ATHENS, GA this morning and my breakfast near me search was in HULL (MADISON COUNTY). This spot had a jammed packed parking lot. But some folks do take out so I got a space. Came inside and saw people were lined up at the counter to order, pick up, and pay. There were plenty of tables and a long counter available for sit down diners. The man in front of me ordered eggs, ham, and bacon. And the young lady behind the counter kept piling meat on his take out container. I was wondering if he ordered double servings... So I went for BREAKFAST COMBO PLATE #2 - HOMEMADE SCRABBLED EGGS. LARGE HOME MADE BUTTERMILK BISCUIT (CUBED) AND SMOTHERED WITH TWO LADLES OF WHITE COUNTRY GRAVY, AND 5 PIECES OF CRISP BACON. I got a cash discount and paid $8 for the food! With a large sweet tea the total came to $10.25. There is a unisex bathroom that is handicap accessible. My cellular service was spotty but I was able to input the GPS coordinates in my car before leaving DDS. It's almost 1PM and I am still full!!Parking: Business is steady and the parking lot is at capacity but many people do take out.Kid-friendliness: Casual dining spot perfect for families or solo diners.“

“Oh my, my my how it has changed since the last time I ate there. The service was waaaay more friendly than it was 3 maybe 4 yrs ago, maybe longer. I hadn't ate there in YEARS the man was so hateful & rude. Now tho, the food is so good I couldn't stop eating even when I got full & the atmosphere is way better. Little creepy cause it was almost like stepford wives cause they smiled so much and almost was to much , but I'd rather to much smiling over rudeness anyway. Definitely gonna start going bk“

Not in every USA can you eat well, a place where you can take your family and the service is impeccable, it is not expensive at all for the product they serve, good wine and I love the decoration. “We had a party of 11 eating an early dinner after a UGA graduation. They were a little abrupt when we got there five minutes before they opened at 4:00 pm and asked them if they could work on our table, we almost left.I’m so glad we didn’t because they turned out to be good people with great service and great food. Extremely accommodating for a party of this size.“

The lady running the stand that day gave us a hotdogs to try. While she did not have to do this, it meant a lot to me.Thank you. Inside they only have a couple of tables and in the porch they have 3 more tables, so it's tiny but great.Parking: Just don't park on the long sides of the building, they use it to pick up and deliver drive-thru orders.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp on the side of the building.“

“First visit to Gusto! and I was impressed by the service and food. The dining space seemed a bit cramped but it was well maintained and well lit. We grabbed food to go so it's a bit of a moot point.In fact, the lighting in the restaurant is one of the factors to catch my eye. It sounds strange, perhaps, but every time I pass the restaurant at night it looks much more inviting than the neighboring spots.Gusto! Also has plenty of outdoor seating that I intend to try out once the weather is a bit warmer.The food was delicious, fresh and ready to go so quickly that I hadn't even paid for it when it was available. The portions were good sized- the bowl filled me up- and the ingredients were well balanced.While the menu appears limited, there is plenty of variety. I especially appreciated the opportunity to choose from several bowl bases and the ability to customize my meal with add ones such as fresh avacado.The person taking orders was friendly and helpful to an absolute newbie. They made some great suggestions.Loved that I could obtain a fresh and filling meal for less than $15 (bowl and no drink since I was headed home.)I'll definitely be headed to Gusto! again.“

“My husband and I recently discovered this place and fell in love! He can't have gluten due to Celiac Disease, and they accommodated him so beautifully and in such a friendly way that we felt like honored guests instead of the problem table due to his food restrictions. We have gone in or ordered out several times and have loved every part of the experience, from the amazing food (our stockings were packed with their packaged foods this year), to the cozy and elevated atmosphere, to the top-notch service at all times.I'm so saddened that this place is closing down. If love and tastiness could save them, they'd be open until kingdom come. The beautiful gluten-free fried chicken, creamed sweet potatoes, pepper jelly pecans, and cheese straws will live rent free in my mind for all time, and if they ever sell anything at a market or open up another project, I know we will give them our support!Thanks for everything. “Our favorite restaurant in Athens, by far! Service and food have always been top notch. I love that the owner mingles with the patrons. It is quaint and has a wonderful vibe. We love having a variety of things to try that comes with a tapas menu. The pimento cheese crostini are my favorite, with the okra and sliders a close second - simply delicious. The restaurant has a bar downstairs with a more casual atmosphere. “I was in Athens for work and my coworkers and I were looking for a good wing spot. They are a little inflexible on the sauces you can try, but I was very happy with my selection. The wings were crispy, flavorful, and the cajun fry basket was great too. The beer selection was very diverse as well and had something for everyone.“
