“This is my go-to restaurant for a home cooked burger. The portion side is huge! Tasty crinkle cut fries accompany the burger with crispy goodness. The BBQ may be what they are known for, but the burger is the best around this little community especially at the price you would pay for a frozen pre-made patty at fast food!“

“Cali N Tito’s is an Athens favorite, and one of my favorites as well! Their food is so different and their french fries or to die for. Crispy and delicious, every bite. Everyone loves their Cuban sandwiches and they had three different varieties to choose from. Their tacos have cabbage. Their hamburgers are so delicious and moist. They are really good at improvising your menu items if you ask for that.“

“Just passing through while going to Athens, I saw their sign in Crawford. I decided to check it out on my trip back. I'm glad I stopped. The food was excellent. Excellent. It does not have a very large dining room, there are three outdoor tables if you want to eat outside. It is right across the street from the Commercial Bank and next door to Jordan Air. Don't miss it!“

They were a little abrupt when we got there five minutes before they opened at 4:00 pm and asked them if they could work on our table, we almost left.I’m so glad we didn’t because they turned out to be good people with great service and great food. “It's such a cute coffee place. When I got there, only 1 girl was working (the other girl was running late). There was a pretty long line formed, and she rocked it. “LEXI!!! That girl made our whole visit! First time here and can't wait to come back to Athens already, just to eat here again. We tried the Ahi Tuna appetizer with chips, which was delicious. I wanted the Lamb burger, but unfortunately they were out. However, The kitchen did make me a regular beef burger with the lamb burger setup and YUUMMMM!!! My family had burgers too and we all had the delicious fries. All while receiving the BEST service from Lexi! She was friendly and funny and went out of her way to get to know us and welcome us to the town. Made our night!!“

“DELICIOUS food, DYNAMIC environment, FRIENDLY staff! I came to Big City Bread with no expectations and left pleasantly surprised and full! I took the HELPFUL recommendation of worker MAISY who helped me decide on the CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. The line WAIT TIME can get pretty long at peak time, so don’t expect to walk in and be serviced immediately! The French Toast is crispy, like a true crunchy toast, and lends well to syrup without becoming too sickly sweet! The potatoes were extra crispy and well-seasoned with the perfect fresh garnish on top, aioli paired well with them. Finally, the fresh fruit, which can never go wrong, was a good serving size with a good variety of fruit!“

“By far one of my favorite diners in the southeast. This trip I had the Scrambler Special and it did not disappoint. See the photos for details. My bride had Quiche and it was well portioned and delicious as well.The staff is always courteous and friendly. The vibe here is so great. Whether inside or out, there is always a neighborly buzz and lots of conversations happening.I can’t say enough about the fare. The ingredients are fresh. “Overall: really spacious indoor and outdoor seating/ open bar areas. The beer selection is wide ranging but also insanely good. Even have a few specialty drinks! Service: you walk in and they check your ID/can put your card on the tab. Then you walk up to either of the counters indoor/outdoor to grab your beer. Surprisingly not too busy on a beautiful Saturday but plenty of reason to go back to try different beers!“

“Great beer in an open friendly setting. The indoor and outdoor areas are dog friendly, kid friendly, all friendly. There appears to be a really cute cat, taking care of things after hours I'm sure!There was a great selection of styles available when we visited and each were very well done: märzen, Irish red, hazy IPA, standard IPA and schwarzbier. The märzen had a lovely spice twist.“

“We are new to the area and went for the first time for their Wake N Bake off. We had a great time. The beer was awesome, the food the different restaurants came up with was amazing. And the people were so nice and helpful. I am currently in a wheelchair due to a broken ankle and one of the vendors helped me into and out of the ladies room (I couldn't get over the threshold). “My wife and I chanced upon Jinya on a Sunday afternoon. What a FIND! If ever we are back in the area we will certainly visit again. The atmosphere was immediately pleasant, very tasteful and quite Japanesey. We were seated immediately and the welcome made us feel at home. Service started quickly and we were soon enjoying our drinks and the impressive menu. Our server ('Nara, short for Nayantara) was excellent and very helpful with our selections.The food was ... incredible. I grew up in northern Japan and have seriously missed the fine Japanese cuisine. We sampled some small items like gyoza and crisply chicken wings and an excellent katsu bun. The main event, ramen bowls, was wonderful, exactly like and as delicious as any really good restaurant in Japan. Can't say enough. And they have a nice bar ... their only Japanese beer is Sapporo but Sapporo is a great beer. We fully enjoyed our visit, the atmosphere, the service, and the excellent food items. If you get a chance, don't miss enjoying a Jinya Remen Bar, you won't be disappointed.“

“Our favorite restaurant in Athens, by far! Service and food have always been top notch. I love that the owner mingles with the patrons. It is quaint and has a wonderful vibe. We love having a variety of things to try that comes with a tapas menu. The pimento cheese crostini are my favorite, with the okra and sliders a close second - simply delicious. The restaurant has a bar downstairs with a more casual atmosphere. My husband and I would love to eat here more often if parking weren't such a challenge, but that's part of being in such a charming and popular area of town!“

“The beer here is excellent, there is something for everyone's taste. The part I like best is they don't only make IPA's. They have plenty of toasty brown beers (my favorite), and even alcoholic slushes. Even a non-beer drinker can find something for them here. The best part of Athentic, however, is the atmosphere. It's the sort of place where locals bring their dogs. More families than frat bros come here. It's a good place for when you want to hang out but not yell to be heard. The staff is friendly and professional.“
