Restaurantji's Milton Mexican restaurant picks are here.
“I am far from an expert on quick serve Mexican food in the greater Alpharetta area. That said, I am a long time fan of authentic Mexican food. The Taco Nest in Milton served excellent tacos (al pastor and grilled chicken), flavorful salsas (verde, and mild and hot red), and freshly diced cilantro and white onions. It's always a good sign when limes are provided with the meal -- which they were.Friendly service! We were greeted as soon as we entered and thanked as we left. The restaurant was clean and its decor simple, but a notch above typical. We recommend Taco Nest and will dine there again.“
“This is by far the best Mexican food ever. We’ve been five times in the past month and have had excellent food and service every time. The margaritas are delicious, I had a coconut one last night that was amazing. I’m sure we’ll be back next weekend!“
“Neftali is fantastic. He has the passion and energy you want in service. He never lets drinks empty and wants your experience to be nothing but the best. We will always request him every time we come in. He remembers orders and always asks before to make sure. The little things matter most. Highly recommend him and Frontera!“
“Service was great! The appetizer trio was delicious. You can tell the chips are homemade. The steak quesadilla was very good! Only constructive criticism I can give is that the fat wasn't rendered well on the pork belly and it was chewy, but I could tell the flavor/seasoning was good.“
“Fresh Mexican street tacos, food with a cool free salsa bar (chips come with order). Love the ambiance, especially the lively music, outdoor patio to enjoy the sun ( tables with umbrellas available) by day or twinkle lights (and heaters on cool nights) that invite you to relax over your meal. We love the Alambre, and cochinita pibil tacos!“
“Don't be fooled into thinking all latin food is the same. Betos does a great job in capturing the street cuisine in central Mexico. This is different than the style you'd find in Baja. The flavors are great and the service is fast and on point. You can't go wrong with trying many (if not all) of the different street tacos.“
“We are trying Frida's for the first time. The food was good, but extremely full of fat. The waiter was caught pointing and laughing at my wife as her hair is falling out due to her Chemo. That withstanding, I would say it was an overall good experience. 8/10 would come back.“
“We love this place! Always fresh and always delicious!Only place still open past 9pm which is great when coming home from playing pickleball all evening! :) Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. We walked in at 9:50pm Friday night and they were so excited to see us and serve us even though they were about to close up. Brian - one of the managers - is the best“
“This place has soul. Absolutely incredible. Super comforting and delicious Mexican food that my whole family loved (including my 2 year old)! The salsa bar was amazing and had so much variety. The chips were fresh and salted perfectly. I had the bistec a la Mexicana which was steak cooked in a delicious tomato sauce and jalapenos. The staff was incredibly sweet, especially the young lady who took our order and brought out our food. She was all smiles with my daughters and her positive energy was contagious. I can't rave about this place enough. You have to try it“
“This was the BEST unexpected stop for food. Food was absolutely amazing I had the mole, rice and beans, my husband had the tamales and they are soo big! The service was fantastic and VERY clean restaurant. Also I definitely appreciate them giving you a cash option or pay using debit. Making this a favorite place of mine!!!“
“Please know this is the BEST chicken and everything else was amazing! Most places are so underwhelming now days!! Do yourself a favor and eat here. I don’t know who these people are but I wish them a lifetime full of happiness! This meal was wonderful! Thank you!!“
“Never a poor meal here! The chimichurri, is the best I’ve tasted! I’m picky about my salsa, and they passed the test with flying colors! This is authentic fresh food! The servers are very attentive. They have TVs and they have an outdoor patio covered. Put it on your list if you’re in Roswell.“
“Had a great first experience here my waiter Daniel was very attentive and regularly came by to see how I was doing Everyone in the restaurant was very friendly and food was tasty and then to top it off they gave me a free dessert for my first time and it was delicious I would recommend to anybody who hasn’t tried this restaurant“
“Shout out to Catrina’s Mexican restaurant! Always great service and definitely the place for fresh food. They also help with those with food allergies to make what you can have and like!Dietary restrictions: Shout out to Catrina’s Mexican restaurant! Always great service and definitely the place for fresh food. They also help with those with food allergies to make what you can have and like!“
“Me and my BF ate here for the first time on Sunday and we’ll definitely be returning! For the price the portions are good, I got the nachos with shredded chicken & I couldn’t even finish them! Margaritas were also good & the ambience is nice. It was kind of busy when we went but the service was pretty quick! A good spot if you’re looking to try something new and like mexican food.“
“they are just delicious, fresh, and quick service, affordable prices, clean place, I just would like to mention that I brought my family from Marietta, a couple times to eat there, and they don't leave you to put tables together, and we're 8, or 10 people, and we want to eat as family, I think they need to be more accessible to do that, but besides that they are great.“
“Always the greatest food and the consistency is out of this world! It's so refreshing having a great vegetarian option like impossible foods which can be added to everything. It's really great seeing a mocktail selection for people who don't drink as well! Truly this restaurant is all inclusive to different diets and I really can't say more about how amazing the staff are here!!Vegetarian options: Everything can be substituted with beans, veggies, or impossible options!Check on which rice dish is vegetarian as well!“
“Been going there for over 30 years and consistently good service. Ramon. Manuel and ray have the best service not to mention the best food. Every family vacation, holiday or outing El Torero goes with us Best Mexican any where in the south“
“My third time eating food from here & I am genuinely happy with every meal I have ever had. Chips are good, salsa is good but would love a hotter version. Never asked for one so in fairness to those place, they could have that option! Son got the Fajitas Trio and said it was delicious. Husband got the fajitas quesadillas and enjoyed it. I got the Brisket Quesadillas and could only finish one bc they were huge and filled with meat! What a problem to have, right?? Love the big portions and well seasoned food. Our waitress was excellent! They were packed last night but she made sure we never had to wait for a thing. Side note, please tip your waitstaff at least 20%! We normally tip 25-30% but I know that can push it for some folks. If one can afford to eat out, one can afford to tip fairly. Otherwise, eat at home. We will be back!“
“Amazing food and great service, but be aware that they tack on a 15 or so percent gratuity, and then their credit card machine asks for more gratuity. I find this a little underhanded, so always read your check before paying. Ironically, I would actually tip more if they didn’t pre-negotiate the tip without my consent.“
“Been obsessed with Yumbii ever since I tried their Brookwood hills location. So excited that they opened an Alpharetta location! Love the food and the service was fantastic! Huge shoutout to Reggie for amazing customer service and providing us with a great experience. Will definitely be back!“
“Today was the great opening and I have been waiting for weeks for it to open and I’m so pleased to say that it’s the best authentic Mexican food place in the area! New favorite spot. We had some quesa birria and torta birria kg was phenomenal! Aguas frescas delicious as well!“
“Excellent!! Ordered Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken and Bulgogi. Probably the best fried chicken I have eaten: tender and moist, and I love the way they cut up the chicken, really maximizes the crust to meat ratio. Bulgogi was good and came with more than I had expected: rice, kimchi, bean sprouts, broccoli salad and a single dumpling. All very good, we will be back soon.“
“Pedi carne con una salsa de la casa, venía acompañada de una papa gratinada tipo pastel y pico de gallo con espinaca todo estaba increíble. Buena música, ambiente tranquilo y elegante. Primera vez que visitaba este lugar, Omar si que supo recomendarme el plato acorde a mi gusto y me brindó una atención excelente. El trago de tequila también se los recomiendo ?“
“We have been here a lot, not sure why I never reviewed. Solid food and chips. I recommend the chicken fiesta salad or anything with the steak in it. Staff is always on top of it and food usually comes out in 10 minutes. Must try our go to Mexican as we live near by.“
“The yuca fried was plentiful and delicious. I am not a big fan of the ketchup-mayo dipping sauce it comes with, but another person at the table liked it. The empanadas were tasty and high quality shredded beef inside. The Don Julio margarita I had was strong but not my favorite tbh.The prices here are generally more expensive than going to Papi's Cuban, but Armandos is the only place like this around for a 20 minute drive.“
“I love to try the little hole in the wall places because it's usually the best food. Our server was really good from start to finish. Their salsa had a great flavor and the chips were light but firm. I got the two tacos lunch, chicken and pork. The pork taco was much tastier than the chicken. Overall it was a very good experience and I will stop in when I'm in the area.“
“Not too traditional but very hearty helping delicious nice flavor and has a nice presentary to it as brought to the table. The street tacos were huge. And from my others on the around the table from me ordered everything looked delicious.Vegetarian options: For the most part, you can have everything. That's on the menu just by subtracting.Whatever meat products are on there“
“First time going, and it was a good experience. I didn't expect the huge portions, they took me by surprise. Chiles rellenos are traditional stuffed with only cheese and fry with a egg batter. Quesadilla con Chícharon was big too, best part was that it was made from a homemade tortilla. Burrito de chorizo was bomb, it came with a side of chips, but they didn't have a purpose tbh.I wish they use a better cheese, i like seeing it melt, but the cheese they used does not do that.Oh, las aguas frescas we're great, definitely get them over soda.“
“Taco booth atmosphere with outside and inside seating. Nothing fancy, just a quick place to grab a bite. During lunch there are many native construction workers enjoying a well priced meal, that is when you know you are eating well. I usually get the taco Barbaccoa, fills me up and only costs $4. Nothing on their menu is more than $11. I wish we had a place like tjis when I was in High School, it could be a great hangout. If you want something faancy, go next door to their parent restaurant, local family favorite, Armandos Caribe.“
“I really like the Atmosphere here. It's a huge space. The decor was a lot nicer and cleaner looking than your traditional Mexican restaurants. The design and decor definitely elevated the look so you don't feel like you're at a Frontera. Service was great! All the staff was very attentive even the manager at one point came by to check on us. I had the Nacho plate with ground beef the portion was not as large as I thought it would be, so we were able to finish the whole nacho plates. Here they used queso for the cheese, so you had to eat it quicker so it wouldn't get too soggy.. I ordered Gordita's With carnitas and that was very different, because normally, when I go to a Mexican restaurant, I would order your traditional dishes like fajitas, nachos, ceviche. The Gordita came with a green sauce that was super tasty. It also came with a very small side of beans which was equally as good. The pork was fried and it tasted perfectly. They also give you complementary salsa and chips and their salsa here is also better than most other restaurants. One is your traditional red salsa, but they add a little bit more cilantro, which made it taste better. The sauce they send out is more of a smoked salsa is served warm. It was different, but. I do like it a lot.“
“Oh my goodness. What a hidden gem. Be prepared to pay cash (sometimes). Also, speaking a little bit of Spanish might help in a pinch. I had their Birria tacos on our first visit and they were on point. I ordered their Pozole (Thursday only) today. Wow!! What a delicious and filling meal. They are doing it right. It’s a convenient store with family style seating and a taqueria all in a small space. Highly recommend checking it out. We will be back soon!“
“We were in town visiting siblings and decided to have Mexican Food. Our Restaurant of choice was Cazadores. I can only say wow. I had shrimp Taco’s which couldn’t have been better. Spinach, mushroom and cheese quesadilla was consumed and thoroughly enjoyed by two of our party. My spouse got a pollo fundido, which she found excellent and very tasty. All food was almost immediately ready, hot and very tasteful. We also enjoyed sides of Mexican rice, bean and queso dip, along with the Mexican guacamole (a little spicy) but wonderful. You will be happy with this Mexican Restaurant no matter what you get. Also chips and salsa were plentiful and fresh. Wonderful food in Roswell Georgia for sure. Great job Cazadores!!“
“Newly opened so our first time in. Very authentic Mexican experience with quality ingredients. Great salsa bar with fresh vegies and every level of heat you can take. Don't miss it if you are getting take out as it is off to the side. Not at all fancy but very clean. Open 6 AM with extensive breakfast menu. Its definitely our new go-to neighborhood favorite!“
“What a treat is was to order Nano's Tacos off of Foodsby today!! I haven't ordered from here before, the prices are reasonable and the staff is unbelievably friendly. I requested lime juice with my lunch and it wasn't made yet so they called me to offer something else - which I thought was so sweet! They delivered and surprised me with such delicious food. I got the pesto chicken spinach wrap, fruit cup, and soda. I was surprised with a cookie and chips too (and whatever this orange sauce is - um YUM!!) I am SO happy with my experience today and the food is crazy flavorful. Thank you so much Nanos!!!“
“One of our favorite spots in Roswell and the very best Mexican and El Salvadoran style pfood you can get in the ATL. Very friendly staff always. Our favs pasole-only weekends, cheese pupusas, chorizo tacos. Everything is homemade to order. Enjoy!“
“Let me tell you about this place. Not only do we get greeted by the friendliest staff and always a cheerful atmosphere but when something goes wrong they take care of you two fold. My husband and I moved to the area 3 years ago. Often going almost every Tuesday. The staff recognizes us as we pretty much order the same thing each time. Laughable but true. The manager always offering his special salsa for us. Well today was just a takeout day after driving 7hrs home from vacation. Go in and someone had mistakenly paid for our dinner and walked out the door with it. I said, no worries I'll just wait in the car if you guys can make it again. No big deal at all. 10min past and out comes the manager with not one but two orders of the same stuff. He said don't worry and to have a good night. He wouldn't let me pay for it. I offered again as I walked back inside and he refused. I did tip them as this was not necessary and was very happy to wait for my food to be made again. 10/10 service and hospitality every time. Today has earned my business for life. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. Truly not expected but extremely thankful after a long day of travel.“
“Love this location. The staff is very friendly, the place is clean and they food is delicious. Also they do not take too long to cook and serve your food. Go and try their gorditas, they are good, pair it with an agua Fresca like horchata or just get a margarita. Either way you cannot go wrong. Just keep in mind chips are not free. Their guacamole is also pretty good, is not spicy like most of you may like it. If you want spicy there’s a salsa bar - provecho“
“We love coming to Pure, it's a usual spot to relax after a long week with some margaritas and tacos. The regular menu is great, but check out the specials for some amazing soups and enchiladas. The Lamburguesa is also a favorite. Great staff and atmosphere. Parking can be a challenge, the lot is small but we can usually find something a short walk away easily enough.Parking: Check the lot at the next door restaurant as well, otherwise street parking across the street and side streets is often required at busy times.“
“Excellent place, very delicious and authentic food. Ms. Carmen is very kind and always goes the extra mile to please the client. Very good place and plenty of parking. I will return and recommend it to everyone who wants authentic Mexican food.“
“I never know if a restaurant in a shopping center with a grocery store is going to be good, it's usually a 50/50 thing, could be good could be bad. This place is 100% delicious. It is seriously the best Mexican food I have eaten, maybe ever. The chips and salsa, perfect, salsa not too hot and chips were thin, warm and perfectly salted. I got the taco salad with fajita meat, husband got enchiladas. We both enjoyed our meal and all the staff was very nice, friendly and prompt. We will definitely eat here again!“
“We are regulars here. We love the street tacos, but everything is great. If you like spicy, ask for the fresh made hot sauce, it's dangerously hot and good. Wash it down with a giant jalapeño margarita! You get so much food and it's Ll delish!“
“The Qdoba in Suwanee was amazing! The food was hot and fresh and extremely tasty I appreciated the service of two outstanding employees Milanie and Cecy. They were very courteous and patient with me. Very satisfied and will be back to this location again because of their superb service!“
“Delicious food and great service. I asked when we arrived if we had time to eat there or order to-go because we only had 20 minutes. We were immediately shown to our table and given great and fast service. I ordered, ate, and paid in 18 min. Thank you!“
“It is inside the BP gas station so don't expect any great ambiance. However, their tacos are excellent!I've never had tacos in Mexico, but I would imagine this would be close to what they would taste like.Oh, and you can't beat the price per taco. Tacos are a little on the small side so if you would normally order one somewhere else, order two.Parking: Gas station parking.“
“First time visit due to the reviews. Food was very good. Had empanadas and arepas and shrimp tacos. However, food is way overpriced. Crazy how people capitalize off the perception that Americans are rich so we'll just price gauge them. Also, one of the reviews mentioned the arepa being served w shredded cheese fresca. I happen to agree that arepas are typically served with melted cheese and not shredded cheese. It was mozzarella that was used but it was cold and plentiful. I just asked them to microwave it to melt it and they were happy to do so. It was delish warm and gooey cheese. I live super close but prob wont go bc its just too expensive for the amt of food u get. Perhaps go during arepa bogo half off specials which would help make it a better value.“
“Nice, average Mexican restaurant atmosphere, but the food is definitely ABOVE average. Large selection on the menu and great weekday lunch specials. Very good selection of adult drinks, but I do think Margheritas are overpriced.Parking: Located in the Publix Midway shopping center, off hwy 9.“
“This is the coolest Mexican restaurant I've been to in the Marietta/Roswell area. The vibes are just elite. With the mariachi music playing in the background and Latin American decorations hanging all over, it was like a taste of Mexico a thousand miles away. The food was delicious; I ordered the Rojo Fundido and my mom had the Tortilla Soup. Service was actually not great, but I think our server was just having a rough day. The ambiance and food made up for it. Highly recommend and will return!“
“We recently experienced the worst customer service at our local Moe's so I didn't have high expectations when we walked in. Boy, was I surprised. The ambiance and the decor was absolutely gorgeous. The food looked so fresh and yummy. Even the salsa station was outstanding and so clean and well kept. Restrooms were well lit and clean. The staff was out of this world friendly. Laughing with us, being so polite and courteous. Just plain amazing. I was so blown away by this. I wish they weren't so far from my home, or I would come here every single week. :) Well done to whomever is the franchise owner of this location!“
“Beautiful restaurant! Went here for the first time today at lunch and Ally was AMAZING!! I have a food allergy and she went above and beyond to help me get exactly what I wanted without any negative interactions with my food allergies. Not a long wait time for food and very attentive service. I will absolutely return next time I am in crabapple and I recommend this place. The nachos were out of this world!!! Huge portions for lunch, too.Dietary restrictions: If you are allergic to nightshades, you can get the fried rice with black beans instead of the usual rice that comes on the side.“
