“This place was absolutely amazing!! I brought my kids and my service dog in and they were so sweet the whole time! They accommodated my picky eater of a son! They also were so funny with my service dog they kept asking her if she needed a menu! I just loved it here and the food was phenomenal!!! Best I have ever had! I ate until I could barely move!!! I will definitely be back!! I truly appreciate how sweet the staff was as well they were so patient and never got upset! Please if you have a chance go here and experience a taste of pho! And how amazing Vietnamese cuisine can be!“
“I think the comment about “people of color should not come here” is absurd. If you order a drink you should absolutely pay for it. Know what you want before placing an order just to send it back! I’ve never had a bad experience here as a black woman. The owner and staff are very sweet and personable. Overall great atmosphere accompanied by delicious food and signature cocktails.“
“Delicious authentic Vietnamese food. The pork and vegetable banh mi sandwich (#10 on the menu) served on homemade bread was incredible. We also ordered #14 on the menu (their famous Pho) which perfectly complemented the sandwich. The owner was very friendly and personable. We look forward to coming back!Parking: Plenty of parking spots right next to the restaurant.“
“There are numerous Vietnamese spots in the area and we chose this one on the flip of a coin. It was a good coin flip. I had the shrimp spring rolls and the wife had the fried egg rolls and I highly recommend both. Of course the main reason was the phõ and it didn't disappoint at all. The fresh herbs and sprouts to accompany were crisp and fragrant, almost like they were just picked. Really good place to go for sure. Real appreciative for the fresh orange slice in the water for a refreshing offset from just plain water.“
“This no frills spot in the Asian Square on Buford Hwy has been a long time go-to for Pho, Bun vermicelli dishes, and some of the best Banh Mi in town. The sandwiches here are much fuller than at other banh mi spots in the Doraville/Chamblee area, and they also use a different French bread than most of the other places. And you can't beat the service or the prices! Now taking credit cards for a small fee; they were cash only for many years. This is a hidden treasure that's not to be missed.“
“A lovely little place in Roswell for excellent pho. The hosts are lovely, sweet people who welcome you with a smile. The food is excellent and the place is cozy. The service is fast and efficient.I've been here multiple times and have always enjoyed my visits. Will definitely go back there again.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is accessible by wheelchair“
“eight people at our table to celebrate a birthday. Excellent food, drinks, and service. Especially good was the curry chicken, chicken soup, and dumplings. Good old fashion. Expensive. The bar area is very nice. One of the best I have seen. And beware the valet service is $20. Le Colonial gives a $5 discount so price comes down to $15.. Even so, this is the highest valet service fee that I have ever experienced. That aside, we enjoyed a wonder evening.“
“This is a new pho and poke restaurant. They are a little hidden but once you uncover them the food and owners are absolutely phenomenal. Great portions/price ratio. Flavor is jam packed and everything is always better with outstanding customer service. They will not disappoint. Ask for Dara!“
“Colonial Kitchen has become a favorite place to dine! Gourmet food at reasonable prices, stylish, cozy ambiance, wonderful patio, excellent service. I still prefer eating outdoors for Covid safety, and they are happy to oblige, where many places refuse to serve, even if they have seating available! Very grateful!!“
“Road trip with my dad and of course dining out at different cafes, bakeries and restaurants are part of the experience while nurturing your souls. That's being said and typical born and raised Vietnamese, we craved for Pho (having your own bowl) of whatever your heart desire. They've three different sizes of bowl and happy to said i chose the medium but golly "it's a large in most places". Like usual, the Đặc biệt is what I love as it has everything and should satisfy meat lovers. First spoon of the savory and deep rich tasting broth tells me...it's going to hit the spot. I can definitely see why this was one of Atlanta favorite pho spot and they didn't disappoint. If I'm ever back this way and craving for that soothing comfort pho then this should do it.“
“It was the first time at this restaurant, one our daughter and sil have visited regularly. I can't remember everything each of us had, but, we all enjoyed it. I had the Cornish Hens with special rice. The hen's skin was a little too crisp, but the meat was tender and tasty. The special rice wasn't all that special, yet I didn't leave any. I can say that I never ate food this good when I was in Viet Nam.“
“The service was really good, maybe the highlight of the experience. The food was good, but I prefer Northern Vietnam (Hanoi) style taste vs. what I assume is a mode southern style (Ho Chi Minh city) of food here. The atmosphere and service was very nice non the less. I love Áo dài pictures ?.“
“Kid-friendliness: OL Doc. does a good job. Nice clean resturant. Staff is very friendly. Quiallity food. Confucius once say; Man who order food from phone App, Not very Appy... Man who order food from Doc Chey stay very Healthy and Appy.....“
“WOW!! What a warm welcoming. I am from Michigan and just stopped in for a quick lunch with family and the service here is amazing! They were so helpful with the menu, refreshed our waters when low and the food came out so quick I couldn’t believe it. I wanted to highlight one server but could not remember his name, but the entire staff was helpful so they all deserve to be recognized! When I am in town again, I will for sure return!“
“Good and to the point viet corner stop restaurant/store. I greatly enjoy seeing and buying the array of basil spring rolls that exceeds beyond the shrimp or pork combination. I like the authenticity because,I prefer fish sauce over hoisin for the spring rolls, My other go to at this store is the sugar cane juice and the mini bowl of custard/flan. There are also plates of com tam which is my favorite Vietnamese dish. The customer service is also great!“
“Area is nice. Includes a dog park and a park for children. They also have a bar and nice seating area outdoors. I had the Colombian food and it was good. I had one arepa and juice and it was $20 so I'm assuming food here is kind of over priced just judging by some of the menus I observed. The people working at the Colombian place were nice and attentive.“
“Wonderful food and atmosphere. A woman that we took to be the owner took great care of us and suggested dishes we might like while the wait staff very efficiently served us. The Thai food was simply delicious, with just the right seasonings and spices.“
“I'm from California and we have so many banh mi shops to choose from. This place definitely is the best in the area. I ordered the classic and the kbbq beef banh mi. They were very tasty and surprising as I am spoiled in Cali. My only complaint would be with the kbbq banh mi. I wish they used kimchi instead of the typical veggies on the banh mi.“
“Good pho and they do have veggie broth options. The shrimp pho was tasty but skimpy with about 4 tiny shrimp for the small bowl. Good amount of Thai basil and bean sprouts given. Small pho was $12.99. Service was quick. The spring rolls I could have done without. I would definitely return. Super no frills basic place with a down home atmosphere.“
“I'm surprised this restaurant got an average review. I loved the decor, the cashier was super sweet and helpful, and best of all, the food didn't disappoint. Banhmi's were great and so were the drinks. I tried the Peach Mango Soda Pop and the Passion Fruit Tee, and they both were delicious!“
“Enjoyed a recent visit to Pho Viet Number One. The Shaken Chicken, while not extraordinary, was flavorful and well-prepared. Service was friendly and the atmosphere inviting. However, a significant drawback emerged at checkout: hidden fees. While menu prices were displayed, nowhere indicated they were exclusively for cash. Only upon going up to the podium did I learn about a "cash incentive" resulting in surcharges for card payments with a small sign behind a bush. This lack of transparency was disappointing and inconvenient. In today's digital age, diners deserve upfront cost clarity regardless of their payment method. Surprising customers with fees at the final juncture feels unfair and hinders informed decision-making. Additionally, card surcharges seem antiquated and discriminatory.I truly hope Pho Viet Number One reconsiders their pricing policy. Incorporating processor fees into menu prices and eliminating surcharges would demonstrate transparency and enhance the customer experience.“
“Came here late at night and they served very good Pho here! Though the lights are kinda weird since one side is like neon pink and the other side is regular lights, and i was sitting in the middle of them both. So it kinda make my eyes hurt. But beside that, everything else was great. Good spot to come have delicious hot pho!“
“I've been coming to this location for almost 10 years now and no other location even comes close from Jimmy Carter, Duluth and eve Decatur, this Cobb location is consistently amazing. The food is incredible but the Pho is on another level. Cherries that works there is so amazing and friendly she is the best and always good care of me and my family. This is the best location and consistently shows it in almost 10 years. Thank you,!“
“They fixed it when I went back to get a refund.I ordered vegetable pho with tofu. I might as well have ordered veggies only because there was barely any tofu. I asked if this was the correct serving size for tofu and they said yes. I’m not ever coming back to this restaurant. For the same price, you get more at Pho 24 across the street. I should’ve went there instead of trying something new.“
