“"Shuk is a true hidden gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Savannah's more frequented dining spots. While its location may require a bit of navigation and patience to find parking, the absence of paid parking fees only adds to the allure of this culinary haven. As we stepped into Shuk, we were immediately struck by the luxurious ambiance that enveloped us, transporting us to a world of Mediterranean elegance and charm. Our journey to Shuk was prompted by a friend's recommendation, and from the moment we walked through the door, we knew we were in for a treat. The attentive staff welcomed us warmly, guiding us through the menu with expertise and enthusiasm. The restaurant's decor exuded sophistication, with plush furnishings and subtle lighting creating an inviting atmosphere that begged us to linger. Our meal began with the whipped feta, a divine creation that left us speechless with its creamy richness and subtle tang. For our main courses, I opted for the pita bread with falafel protein, while my wife chose the bowl with her choice of protein or falafel. Each dish was a work of art, meticulously prepared and bursting with vibrant flavors that danced on our palates. To complement our meal, we couldn't resist trying the harissa chili paste sauce on the side. The intense heat of the harissa was perfectly balanced by its deep, smoky undertones, adding a bold kick to our already delicious dishes. It quickly became clear that no visit to Shuk would be complete without sampling this tantalizing condiment. As we savored each bite and soaked in the luxurious ambiance, it became evident why Shuk is a must-visit destination for anyone who appreciates Mediterranean cuisine done right. Despite its secluded location, the journey to Shuk is well worth the effort, offering an unforgettable dining experience that lingers in the memory long after the last bite has been savored. We left Shuk feeling nourished, satisfied, and eager to return for another taste of its exquisite offerings."“
“This was my first trip to Savannah. Always look for the “best of” and indeed this spot lived up to the hype. The house made sour dough with habanero butter was devine. I started with the granita oysters which were so tasty, perfect balance. For my entree had the lamb sausage which was the best of all. Highly recommend 1540 and Trish who was helpful, on point, and really made the southern hospitality shine through.“
“Somehow this Cuban from Lakeland found a Cuban cafe in Savannah. The owner was awesome! The food was amazing! Makes your mouth water, the pastalito melts in your mouth, and the cafe con leche makes you forget you’re in Savannah and transports you back to Miami.“
“Very surprised for this place is the hidden gemThe service is very fast and rightLot and great options dishesThe perfect place for the vegan person ?Love the atmosphereEnough parking lot ????????The coffee is the best part Vegetarian options: A lot of the options“
“Well, it's official, I love Franklins. My friends and I stopped in for a latte and the menu looked so good we decided to grab breakfast. They have a case of pastries but they're also serving up fresh hot food as well. The lattes were delicious and so was my croissant sandwich“
“Sleek and modern coffeeshop. Immediately upon entering you feel a sense of openness with the large expansive space. It's bright and welcoming.Ordered a classic cappuccino as they no longer served the creme brulee version, that came up quick at the perfect drinking temperature. If I didn't already have a meal planned would've definitely tried something as what people had looked good.“
“I’m sure this was just a weird interaction or something. Everything was great but when we went up to the counter we just were stared at, no greeting, and then the guy yawned in my face when I started ordering. I wasn’t getting the friendly vibe all the other comments have said. Coffee was good though and like I said it could have been an off day.“
“I love the concept! The Mexican Mocha was delicious, smooth, and not too sweet at all. I had it both hot and iced, highly recommend! We tried the classic breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burrito; both were decent though fairly bland, but I’d still go back. Get the coffee!“
“Y’all are over aerating a lot lately and not getting any good milk/substitute milk texture. The standards use to be better and y’all were considered craft coffee. I’m not sure why they slipped, but maybe some fresh barista training for the new ones on bar would be beneficial, perc is happy to barista train for other cafes, dialing in/ milk texture/ latte art all important to taste not just presentation. You’re one of my favorites, and I hope you get back to being a1 at some point and take your coffee program seriously“
“a very cute spot! The cafe area is very small and tight but they have a good menu and the drinks tasted good. Really, you're coming here for the aesthetic and blend of both contemporary vintage home items and giftware. Two floors with merchandise everywhere!“
“Amazing coffee! Amazing peopleCame across Perc coffee as recommendation from weekly sprudge coffee newsletter.I ordered beans online for overseas shipment. Had a great? experience and the beans were freshly roasted and delivered quickly.I also reached out to the team for advice to choose the beans and brew tips. And they were super helpful. The ordering online experience was super smooth, the team was very prompt in responding to my queries and the beans were super tasty too. They also sent a hand written note. So nice! ?Highly recommend!“
“Very cute little Cafe if you are a cat lover! We had a great time petting and playing with the kitties (although some of them didn't appreciate the attention, but hey that's cats for ya! ?). I love that they adopt out the cats in the Cafe. It is a great way to figure out a cat's personality. My only gripe is adoption pick up is on Wednesday. We really liked two of the kitties but I told my girls we couldn't get them because we are in a hotel until Friday.“
“Conveniently located across the street from the Fountain at Forsythe Park, a great coffee shop to stop at and experience the local flavor!Friendly staff, clean and great tasting coffee! Several food and drink options, including alcoholic drinks.“
“Went in on a Friday evening, probably around 7pm. When we first arrived there was only 1 other table. That lasted roughly 10 minutes and then the place was PACKED with a line literally out of the door. When you walk in, you're first greeted by the most glorious display case of deliciousness. Make sure to look in there because there are desserts in there that you can order by the slice that aren't on the menu!Drinks:-Salted Caramel Martini-4.5☆/5 (a little too much salt on the rim)-Milky Way-5☆/5-Hot Chocokate (with an added espresso shot)- 5☆/5Desserts:-Lemon Lavender Cheesecake: delicious! More lemon than lavender but still wonderful!-Brownie w/ice cream: a true classic and absolutely divine.-Creme Brulee Mini Trio: just yes. Get it. You won't regret it!-Strawberry Suspension Chocolate Cake: this was my favorite! The maracapone and strawberry layer was airy and delightful. Highly recommend!-Carrot Cake: I got this one to go for my husband. He really loved it and said it was one of the best carrot cakes he's had!Service was wonderful and prompt!Dietary restrictions: Several gluten-free desserts!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly atmosphere!“
“The people here are so funny and so nice. The atmosphere reminds me of a coffee shop back home. Our brunch was fantastic and our coffees were even better. I came here on a visit from out of state and was so glad this was my first stop in GA. “
“Serendipitously found this place online while in the are very last minute. Food quality, presentation, ticket time, and service were beyond my expectations. The restaurant was busy as it was expected during the time and day. However, they have ample space, and there was no wait! Delicious food is well priced with matching service! Will definitely be returning!“
“Be prepared to wait, but it's worth it. Has all your usual options plus some specialties. I ordered the Honeybee almond latte. It was so good! Light flavor, with a great nutty flavor. The ham and gruyere cheese croissant was delicious. The bread was soft and chewy, though I wish they warmed it up a smidge longer.“
“Store & coffee shop across the street from the JW Marriott Three Muses building. Delicious iced coffee - the brown sugar syrup flavor was really tasty. They also have their coffee for sale in addition to really cool gifts and apparel. Picked up a couple tees and two bags of coffee to take home from our trip. Great place to get to-go coffee if you are staying at the Marriott hotel. Company is proudly veteran owned.“
“Owned & operated by the Twelve Tribes you'll find this spot right by Forsyth Park. High quality selection of bread, pastries, & teas that are made daily. I typically pop in for a loose leaf mate that will run you $2.75 The best part about this place is how cozy it is... tons of cool nooks to sit & hang out Everyone is nice & helpful that works here...“
“This place is amazing! The food is wonderful and our service from Brent was impeccable! He was so knowledgable and very polite. I explained that it an anniversary celebration for us and if possible we would like a window view. We were sat at the best window view and they brought us a complimentary desert with a lit candle. If you're ever in Savannah, GA this is a must!“
“Great coffee and food, the bagels with cream cheese inside were so good, get them warmed! Check out the bathroom, wallpaper is worth a photo! Friendliest service in Savannah even with the line out the door!Wheelchair accessibility: Good! Right with people but bathroom is decent, a little tight inside but plenty of room on street.“
“I love the crafting options here! The donuts are delicious, coffee isn’t too strong, and the crafts are soooo cute!!! Definitely a great place to go if visiting Savannah, and amazing place to get out of the sun while walking during the summer. 13/13 recommend.Vegetarian options: Almost the whole menu is Vegetarian!!Dietary restrictions: LOTS of vegan options!!!“
“Love this cozy coffee spot. Lots of seating but very busy when I went. Not many outlets unless you get a table by a wall. Coffee was good! Definitely going back to try some treats and sandwiches. Some chairs did look like they needed to be cleaned/ swapped out.“
“Delicious, light scones unlike some of the dense, uneatable scones sold elsewhere. I bought five each of blueberry, lemon, & strawberry. Then cut each scone into 3 or 4 pieces. For added yummiest, I lightly microwaved them (about 30 seconds) & served them at a reception. Not a one was left!“
“Such a cute cozy spot. I love getting their combo of a latte with a crepe. They have such a great menu for any dietary restrictions, I personally love the turkey pesto crepe with a lavender rose latte! I have been to Superbloom a handful of times to work on my computer and hangout, it's such an inviting environment and I love that I can either put headphones in and focus or just hangout and enjoy one of their craft nights! The staff is all so amazing.Pro-tip get the chai!“
“Giving you 5 stars over all bc it’s veteran owned and like the concept. But the kids working inside are horrible. Waited to be greeted with no one else in line. Out of food items. To warm up a sandwich they didn’t have ti make too much longer. No thank you no smiles no energy just poor hospitality.“
“Although I was first disappointed when trying an Americano from Cup to Cup - I gave it another try & loved my Espresso Tonic. This will be my go to if when I come back in the future Not much seating & more of a grab & go place - service was good & staff was polite Not my favorite in Sav - but they've certainly redeemed themselves“
“Super cute shop! Not just macarons but hand crafted chocolates. A few eclairs. Chocolates were almost too gorgeous to eat. Almost. Will answered every question I had and genuinely seemed to like the products. $2.50 for a piece of chocolate and they also sell by the half dozen and dozen.“
“One of my favorite places to go between classes. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The drinks are always delicious and I love the seasonal menus they have. It’s a great place to sit and visit and also a good space to sit and get work done.“
“Just moved to the area. Finally got off work early so I can try the coffee but was informed they changed their hours and were now closed. The staff member was nice enough to stay open a little longer and fix me a "campfire" coffee that was brilliant! I am very “
“I was so excited to finally try this spot after hearing about it. I came late morning on a week day and found parking right in front. When I arrived there were two other people in line and the staff members were kindly answering questions. I opted for the Mermaid Tail Mega Tea after seeing it on Instagram and it hit the spot! It was the perfect mixture of pink lemonade and blue raspberry flavor with a bit of a sour/tart punch at the end. I didn't expect the sourness so maybe it would be nice to include on the menu, but I actually really enjoyed it! The teas are pricey but for 32oz and 200mg of caffeine + vitamins, I think it's worth it. I will definitely be coming back soon and look forward to trying new flavors!“
“Visited on a Monday afternoon and there was only a small line to order. I opted in for a light roast coffee and it was brewed perfect for a day at the park. The group also had a croissant which was delicious and tried the dirty south (a shot of espresso over lemonade) which was unique and not a favorite but worthy of trying. I highly recommend checking out this small gem while in the park area as the coffee was great and so were the staff.Wheelchair accessibility: This cafe is completely wheelchair accessible with an accessible entrance, restroom, and seating.“
“I realize I'm a little behind with the times, but I FINALLY completed my 1st mobile order & picked it up in the drive-thru! The whole process was SUPER easy! Just added my drink along with any extras to it, found a yummy bakery item, quickly added funds to my gift card, and clicked which star rewards I wanted to use, if any, then submit! I jumped in my vehicle, and 2 minutes later, after giving my first name in the drive-thru, a cheerful barista had my perfectly made order waiting for me at the window! All this, and I never left my pj's and slippers!Very simple process, awesome staff, and great early morning coffee!“
“Amazing! The tomato, basil, and burrata sandwich was so delicious. You can really tell the tomato and basil are fresh picked and the bread freshly made. My kids all loves the chocolate croissants! Highly recommend! My only complaint is that they don’t open earlier so that I can stop on my way to work!“
“Probably the best customer service experience I’ve ever had. The person behind the counter was understanding, patient, and would answer any of the stupid questions that we had. Since going last week, I’ve recommended this cafe to everyone who would listen. The food was amazing and affordable (like, actually affordable. You won’t leave paying more than $10 for your meal). Try this place! You definitely won’t regret it.“
“Update to my previous review. After going back to Sturbuck to speak with Mgr about my drink and sandwich, she corrected it, she was very nice. She had my sandwiche made fresh and hot and my strawberry refreshing she apologized about it, I thought it was a bug, she explained that it was a coffee bean and gave me another drink and even upsized it. I have deleted my previous negative post because they made my morning and I am thankful for that. Kudos to great and attentive customer service. Also thank you to Management for responding to my previous comment and reaching out.“
“My second review - third visit. Visited at around 10 am in a Tuesday. Very busy but did not have to wait long to order my Americano and smoothie. Order was ready pretty promptly considering the crowd. I'd say about 75% full so definitely popular. Lots of people meeting friends, a few working from the cafe. The 4 stars is really only due to one customer who was making business calls - slightly annoying since often people talk louder on the phone than if with live company. Definitely prefer early time frame for crowd control. Service and quality of coffee and smoothie was very good.“
“First visit with daughters was truly unforgettable. Vintage ambiance and charm, exceptional staff, delicious food, and considerate patrons made it a hidden gem! Milk alternatives were a welcome touch. Eagerly anticipating our return. Also, the Nancy Drew book I purchased instantly transported me back to my childhood; can't wait to read it.
