“I missed out on the YES event here, but I thought I'd give them a try. I DID NOT regret it. The staff was awesome, and the food was as well. Mentioned that we missed the event, and they gave us a bag that was given out at the event and an Ube Horchatta. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. They're located inside Palama Market in Waimalu. Parking is tight but well worth the wait.“
“The hot dog had a coarse grind texture and a nice grill flavor. I had the reggie dog #1 and my wife had the surf dog #2. Superb. By far the best vegie dog i've had. Very few meat hotdogs are better. The soft serve was also good. The coconut flavor was nice and not artificial. They also have ube. Probably the healthiest food choice at the farmers market. And it seems small but we were satisfied all night.“
“This was my favourite shave ice spot of the four I tried during my visit to Ohau. It’s a bit more expensive than the others, but the portion is big, and the flavours were delicious. The syrups used in the ones I’ve tried didn’t have that artificial taste, and the shave ice had a delicate fluffy texture. I tried the Heavenly Lilikoi, and Pink Island, but you’re free to create your own flavour combinations. This is a kiosk set up in the bustling heart of Waikiki, where you are required to place your order on the tablet set up at the front, and when your order is ready they will call out your name for pick up. Other than that, there’s no real interaction with the people who work here. However, they were quite efficient, and the wait was never too long. I also noticed that they’re usually busier in the evening with longer lines compared to the afternoon.“
“Yummy! We had the jumbo beef dogs! Delicious!!!! All different types of toppings! I kept walking by his stand and finally tried him! So glad we did! He's right by the Hilton Lagoon, by the harbor! Worth it! Try it, you'll love it!“
“This food truck is in a little food truck corner on the busy Kuhio Ave, but it's a pretty cute and clean place with seating (most tables don't have shade). I came here last time I was in Honolulu and came back again for lunch. We ordered the miso butterfish which I remembered being so good last time and it was still amazing. So tender and flavorful, really hits the spot. The wait is a bit longer than expected for a food truck (same thing happened to me last time), so maybe don't come if you're in a rush. A bit on the pricy side but also it's in the middle of touristy Waikiki. Other than that, highly recommend!“
“I happened to stop by while taking a walk on the first night I arrived in Waikiki, and it was so delicious that I went again a few days later! At first, I ate #1 strawberry dream.Ingredients such as milk and strawberries are made into ice cream on a cold iron plate and made into rolls. Not too sweet, light, refreshing and delicious. On my second visit, I tried #2 Oreo Team and it was just as delicious. (The additional topping was Oreo crumble for both) Anyway, both my boyfriend and I were very satisfied because they were so delicious! If you like milk-based ice cream, you will be satisfied! It's healthier and more delicious than Haagen-Dazs. I recommend it~~~The owner was also very friendly, which made me feel good. I plan to visit again when I come to Waikiki again!“
“Looking forward to coming back ! Their handmade rolls are very unique and pack a flavorful punch. It was a first time experience biting into an eggroll that had a range from avocado to shrimp to burger meat. When I went there, the different types of flavors presented were: the traditional vietnamese roll, a crab rangoon roll, in & out roll, taco roll, shrimp roll, bacon & egg roll, and avocado roll. It was super hard to choose just a couple to try out, so instead I just got the sampler which is where you get each roll.My personal favorite would have to be either the avocado or taco roll. When eating the avocado roll, it tasted very fresh and vibrant. In the avocado roll there’s onion, tomato, and cilantro. All combined makes an amazing roll to enjoy with all friends and family. What I’m most shocked about is that the rolls are never soggy and are not burnt. The workers at the local farmers market were a pleasure to meet. When waiting you could jam out to their music which is what I did. Definitely should ask how they choose the name for the taco roll, it’s a silly and cute story. 10/10 would go again to grab some of their amazing rolls and vibe with music“
“Been stopping by off and on for a couple of years now... food is Always tasty and of good, fresh quality. Prices are very reasonable and Albert, who usually staffs the front is most polite and appreciative of your business, big or small. Most recently, garlic chicken and their sushi roll bento were enjoyed by work colleagues, as well as the fresh, warm andagi. What a treat! Go before the lunch rush for best street parking.“
“Been going to Nickys Wagon for about 2 months M-F. Her family recipe for each item she serves are each amazingly flavorful. I've tried about 90% of her entire menu at this point, and I have to say her maxed 5 stars review is well deserved. Food tastes great, her portions to price is unmatched compared to everywhere else ($9 for a full big plate)! If something on her menu is running out, she will give you another choice of anything to work with you. Her mac salad I highly recommend, best on the island in my opinion. You won't regret coming here.“
“absolutely loaded with flavor!I got the crunchy wrap as you can see in the picture with guac and spicy.10/10 an absolute banger!I am planning to get another taste if this plant based food at least one more time before leaving this island!dont be fooled by my bad photography, this food is 100% worth checking outas of 2/23/24 you can get away with spending $15 per person for a food and drink combo and be satisfied for a night of touring the shops in the area and get a break from the crowds in the current secluded locationI stumbled upon this gem on accident I dont know how to give directions to the location other than google.“
“My sister has been living on Oahu for 13 years now and I can't believe out of all the times I've visited, I've never tried huli huli chicken from anywhere. Well, I finally got to try it on this trip. We came by on a Sunday at 11 and there was no line. We were doing our own North Shore food crawl, so we got half a chicken to share with everyone. The chicken was so tender and flavorful - even the white meat. Even my niece, who doesn't really eat chicken, liked it. It's also kind of fun watching them cook all the chicken.I'm so happy to have found this place and will definitely be back for my next visit to the island.“
“I am a banana bread fiend and auntie really do be making one of the best banana breads out here!! Not super sweet and I also love the texture of the bread, the right balance between fluffy and dense. ***I got the banana coconut custard banana bread but she also provides other flavors such as walnut and chocolate chips :P**“
“The main reason why I even visit the farmer's market is because of Izu's Mochi. The best time to visit is first thing in the morning to ensure best parking and best selection. Also be sure to not park in other businesses' parking lots to avoid an unplanned tow to the yard. Izu's Mochi is always such a perfect gift to give and receive. When you support this business, you know you won't be disappointed from the service and aesthetic presentation.“
“At the University of Hawaii rainbow warrior spring football game I happened to see this booth with LOCAL Oahu, Hawaii, fresh sugarcane, and assorted fruits that they were juicing fresh I tried the sugarcane with pineapple and mango, and also with the LOCAL, miniature citrus fruits Absolutely delicious refreshing healthy excellent service large 20 ounce glass for eight dollars and its farm fresh Thank you Khang and your team for the excellent service Aloha and Mahalo“
“Delicious and nutritious!! This is Thai-authentic cuisine as it can get. All the level of spiciness you like or non. You must try the energizing lemon juice. Jamieson and Pauline took my order and prepared our meal just in time. You must try this Thai Shack!! Parking available. This restaurant location is near Pear Harbor Hickam Base, near the Arizona Memorial, close to H201, H-1, and H-3 Hwy.“
“I wonder why they serve human food but have the name “fish food”? hm, the world may never know. anywho, i had the spicy ahi bowl (?) that came with rice, some fish, and 2 pieces of gyoza with sauce. the fish was good and had the spiciness of a 3.5 on the caucasian scale of spicy; has a little kick but won’t make you cry out for jésus or anything. the convenience of having poke on base was amazing but the portion size was not! $15 or so for a small bento sized meal is a little pricey as poke bowls at foodland are about $5 cheaper and they give you more fish and rice as well. For the size of fish food hawaiis spicy ahi, i have attached a pic to show the size with an ice breakers ice cube gum for a scale (didn’t have banana for scale)“
“Nice (inside) zoo restaurant , with plenty of menu choices. No refills on drinks. No take away containers were available for the food we had not finished. Plenty of seats at 2:30pm om a sunday. The chicken tenders were as you would expect. The K Pop Dog was decent, the onion rings were really good and crispy, I would order them on the side ( or a side order of onion rings) so that they don't have the sauce on them. The Korean Fries were my favourite from what I ordered.I would order the Korean Fries and Onion rings if I were to come back im the future.“
“It was spicy garlic, but it was too salty for my taste so I was a little disappointed. You have to try the original garlic for an accurate review.I think it's possible. But it's nice to be able to meet them without having to drive to the shrimp truck. The shrimp are very juicy and fresh. Next time, I'm going to do some research on the menu.“
“Location is great Free parking is awesome Selection of booths are minimal but decentMore booths would be greatFresh produce selection was decent. Could be better but the prices and quality is really goodFood booths are good but need more to choose from I definitely recommend Pets are welcome unlike California Farmers Markets“
“I have been looking for small hair combs for thin hair and no one sells no one them but at the marketplace I found what I was looking for and the price was great sometimes you find what you need at the most unexpected places keep this place the marketplace it gives good value for your money“
“Stopped in for a few to take home for brunch. Very Tasty. If you want a quick take out and well worth the price this is good. For those picky dim sum eaters (I am one of them) go to a sit-down restaurant. For what it is, it's well worth it.“
“I absolutely love this place! 20/10 shave ice and friendly! I try to stop by as often as I can when I’m on that side. I also love taking my clients here! My favorite shave ice on island! ? (Blue vanilla + coconut = an unbeatable flavor combo in my opinion)“
