Come grind before no get! This super small shop in a unassuming area. There's soda and frozen treats and a small menu with daily specials. There are two tables outside. The back area is filled with warmers since the food is prepared ahead of time. The gravy burger is a Hilo thing. It's just like the name says. Like hamburger steak with hamburger bun instead of rice. Visited the store to get some grinds for the family to share. The roast pork with gravy was really ono and tender. The mac/tuna salad was served in a separate container to keep it cool. The store had a good selections of goodies, from hot breakfast bentos to packaged baked goods along with assorted chips, ice cream novelties, bottled drinks and more.There is plenty of parking and the store has daily specials so I hope I can get back to Hilo soon to try out some of the other local...read full review
