“Besides being a health food store with a nice selection of Hawaiian treats the food bar is great. Light tasty and healthy (or course). Esp recommend the Bahn mi to take away for a picnic or beach outing or for the not sure drive up to our volcano for sunset views.“
“After United Airlines cancelled our scheduled flight home nine hours after scheduled departure we were left to our own devices to locate lodging and transportation for the night since the Maui airport essentially closes down at 11 pm and the flight cancellation occurred at 10 pm. Fortunately, my wife was able to get the last two available rooms at the Marriott Courtyard near the airport and we got one of the last two cabs at the airport to transport us. The desk personnel were extremely friendly and understanding. The rooms were large, clean and well laid out. One room complaint though- the toilets are set on very short pedestals so it is painful for older, tall people to sit on the toilet seat. There is a small snack and beverage shop adjacent to the front desk and there is a bar area (closes at 10:30 to 11 pm) which also serves as a breakfast area in the am opposite the front desk. During the day they do have a free shuttle to and from the airport. There is a pool and nice grounds though due to our circumstances we were not around to use them. Room prices are high ($580 plus per room after taxes and fees). Not sure whether that is normal price or due to our circumstances (either way we were happy to have rooms to sleep in).“
“I love myself some boba. Stopped by the Queen Kaahumanu shopping ctr food court to get some and it didn't disappoint. They make their boba pearls fresh daily and the flavors of the smoothies were legit true to their fruit sources. Passion fruit was sweet and tart and the honeydew smoothie was just the right amount of sweetness. Solid boba experience, I would definitely stop by again.“

“Lisa and her family became our extended family after spending a few months on island. Eating here multiple days a week, on very restrictive diets. Lovely veggie soup and Freshly juiced drinks daily! “What a cute little cafe right next to the aquarium! If you have extra on your overpriced parking time, head over here. Some fun and creative options, especially for people who can’t drink coffee like me. The two tiny tables out front were great to have a small break. They’re also open super early so I was able to grab a drink before my snorkeling tour the next day. The snacks are also tasty.“

But others might not like it so strong.Looking at the brothers got the food looks delicious.It is a tiny place with a sweet couple. If you are here, come by and support them.“
“Our family got off a cruise ship and went to Paia beach. We walked up the street and ran into artisan ice cream. We didn’t expect to buy anything, but the smell of their fresh baked cookies were amazing. We bought one cookie and shared it, then ended up buying 4 more. Family absolutely loved them. “Wow did we miss this shaved ice place. This brand is our absolute favorite and we always look forward to it when we are in Maui. Typically we used to visit their Lahaina location but we now visited this location. We were able to stop by twice during our visit and neither time did they disappoint. The flavors are top notch. The ice is top notch, the service of the associates and their ability to make the shaved ice quickly is all top notch. They have a single picnic table so there is limited space to sit but people don't mind as only a few people sit. It was all around a great experience.“
