“Pukalani Terrance Center is one of the last big shopping areas on your way up to Haleakala National Park, to the Haleakala Summit to watch the sunset. My husband and I stopped by this outdoor shopping center to pick up some food to eat while we watch the sunset. In this plaza, there is a Foodland Market (which seems to be the one and only place that sells spam musubi with the rice seasoned with furikaka. The other Foodland locations that I have visited on this island did not have it) which has a Starbucks inside, there is an Ace Hardware, a Post Office and a few small eateries. In order to use the public restrooms at this plaza, which are located next to Farmacy Health Bar (down a hallway), you will need to enter the following codes for the ladies and men's: ladies- 234. Gentlemen- 345. The restrooms are not the most cleanest but they were decent. It was nice that this plaza was here for us to pick up some food before heading up the summit to check out the sunset. We ended up picking up a few poke bowls at Foodland (so delicious and fresh) and would stop by here again if I was heading up towards the national park again.“
“The coffee shop is very cute and beautiful. The vegan cinnamon roles were amazing! They also a few other vegan options. The coffee was only ok, they don’t have a real barista and their oat milk is not suitable for coffee (no Barista Oatly but has a sweet very oaty taste).“
“Sweet Hula is the only place I ate more than once while in Maui. To be honest, we didn't try the açaí bowls because we were intrigued by the matcha and blue magik (coconut and pineapple) bowls. Both were loaded with fresh fruit and granola and were delicious and filling. We also tried the Brazilian cheese bread and it was definitely worth the 15 minute wait while it cooked. The service was helpful and kind and they remembered me when I came back. Seating is outside on picnic tables as this is a food truck but there is plenty of room and they keep it clean. I highly recommend Sweet Hula to all!“
“Wow did we miss this shaved ice place. This brand is our absolute favorite and we always look forward to it when we are in Maui. Typically we used to visit their Lahaina location but we now visited this location. We were able to stop by twice during our visit and neither time did they disappoint. The flavors are top notch. The ice is top notch, the service of the associates and their ability to make the shaved ice quickly is all top notch. They have a single picnic table so there is limited space to sit but people don't mind as only a few people sit. It was all around a great experience.“
“Our family got off a cruise ship and went to Paia beach. We walked up the street and ran into artisan ice cream. We didn’t expect to buy anything, but the smell of their fresh baked cookies were amazing. We bought one cookie and shared it, then ended up buying 4 more. Family absolutely loved them. Thanks for a fun experience!!“
“We tried a pineapple dream smoothie and a paradise smoothie. Both were made from real fruit and no added sugar. Tasted very natural and delicious. Wonderful shaded eating area with very clean bathroom for patrons. We actually stopped there on our Hana Highway drive then came back 2 days later to see the Rainbow trees that we had missed the first time. Very friendly staff. A great place to stop for a treat. Mile maker 5.5.Parking: Plenty of pull in off the road parking.“
“LEGIT. Loads of fruit, plenty of açaí, granola, honey... you know you'll get quality here. And the lemonade. It's not something from a powder or a kid's drink stand. It'll cost more than $25 for a Dixi cup, but you won't regret it. Cold, refreshing and loads of varieties.“
“Take out breakfast and lunch before road to Hana.Great hot food bar with a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. Pocket friendly.Croissants were great. Their freshly made veggie burger was delicious. Breakfast burrito and the filo pastry was great. Convenient for breakfast and better to pick up lunch if headed to Hana.“
“The Kava an Kratom drinks are top quality and only exceeded by the bartenders the customers and the ambiance. I can safely say without reserve it is the friendliest and most welcoming social bar and gathering place on the Island of Maui. They compete with Disney claim to the "happiest place on earth".“
“We wanted to leave a review about Ocean, the wonderful proprieter of this business. Not only did she serve us refreshing coconuts with a smile, but she made our whole visit to Maui unforgettable. My family and I arrived hours down the road in Hana and realized that my mother had left her purse at Maui Coconut Company. Money, ID for travel, phone, etc., everything she needed on our trip was in that purse. On a chance phone call to Mom's cell phone, Ocean picked up the phone and said the purse was secured with her, and she would meet us later to return it. Such an immense relief to know the purse was not lost and/or worse. Ocean went out of her way to connect with us that evening and get it back to my mom. I say this seriously: in a time when we all seem to be going mad, and people are at odds with one another, and crime and corruption seems to be the order of the day, to have one person with integrity and honest character treat her customers with the utmost in respect and ethics is super encouraging. It's nice to know that people still wish to care for other people. We thank Ocean for her kindness and goodwill. We hope everyone will support Maui Coconut Company as this business also has been working to support the people and animals of Lahaina.“

“Food is always delicious and fresh.Splurge on the beautiful etched metal to-go container. It's so nice.Recommend ordering ahead and parking is very difficult so if someone can run in to get it, you're better off.I waited for more than 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. There was no line, so I'm not sure what was up. It was kinda weird but I'm too timid I guess. Still wish someone could say hi at least or I'll be with you soon. The food is still worth it.“
“Loved this place! My wife is a chef on Maui & we like to eat locally grown food when we go out. We were very impressed with menu and food sourcing - local meats, fresh island baked bread and even local spirits in the cocktails. Everything we had was delicious.Very nice family that owns this place lost their Lahaina location in the fire. Support their business in Paia so they can rebuild someday on Westside!“
“If your looking for an onolicious cold pressed juice/shots, look no further!A small locally owned business in the heart of Haiku. “Besides being a health food store with a nice selection of Hawaiian treats the food bar is great. Light tasty and healthy (or course). Esp recommend the Bahn mi to take away for a picnic or beach outing or for the not sure drive up to our volcano for sunset views.“
“Organic, local, delicious... but also served with so much heart! I love this company and the vision behind it. Whether you are Kama'aina or visiting Maui, definitely check out the Maui Smoothie Co. and grab some avocado toast to go with your smoothie!“
